Hi everyone. I have a question about the Sky-class dragons. :rolleyes: They have that horn on ther head.Right?Soooo isn't it difficult fore the rider to ride when the horn is blocking his/her view. :plot:

The 'horn' seems more like a thin membrane to me. (Think like bat's wings, a single bone holding the structure up with a thin brace of skin.)

I don't think it would be hard to see around and from what we've seen the sky-class dragons seem to need those horns to be able to steer in the air.

I think I'm going to call it a rudder or a fin as opposed to a horn. It looked pretty thin to me, so I don't think the rider would have any trouble seeing. Besides, the dragon knows where it's going. :) It's not like a car or airplane where the rider is doing all the steering.

I wonder if the dragon can fold that fin back in case it needs to stick it's head into some place narrow.

Maybe you are right about the thines of it Furoxs but I stil think it should be a little discomforting having something in front of you whole the time. :unsure: But even if it is I think the rider gets used to it. ;)

And about the folding. I doubt it. But maybe it is possible? :cookie: Im lost.

Considering that German Shepherd dogs have big, tall ears and that they can fold them back flat against their heads and that Beau can fold up his frills, then it's not too unlikely that a sky class dragon could fold its head fin. Besides, if Pyrrah can fold her hair up and get it all inside her helmet (which seems to defy the laws of physics), then anything is possible. :D

But Beau is gold (special) :plot: and the dogs are mammals...
