Erm, why should there be? The Crews appear relatively professional, doing whatever it is they actually do ('cause they can't be making that much on racing) as a job. It's implied in some places that children are meant to be children in Dragon City, though the ages of most canon characters and Kitt's age might tell a different story (the adult characters bar Word and Mortis seem to be largely missing from Dragon City). The brother of a leader is no doubt an exception, as might be the rare occasion where a Crew might actually need someone small.

Well, according to the TCG, there are a few kid menbers. And don't forget Spratt from Broken Bonds!
But really, I think that there's such things ar=s junior members for the crews, kids that are training to be on, but we don't see them because they're no full-fledged members.

They would have to have kid members somewhere. They're not just going to go pull someone off the streets who looks good enough... well, they might, but it'd be easier to take a vagely promising kid and train 'em up. Can't just expect good crew members to fall into your lap. :)

That'd be my guess. Unless they've got older siblings who want to show them the ropes... or just manipulative older people using them. :P

There is other child beside sparkks there in Dragon flames, and I guess that he isn't Pyrrah's lil bro

Yep, Sparkk, and also Kindyll (? Raped spelling can be hard to spell :P), who is in the Dragon Flares as well (though is he actually a kid?).

Hey, I think that maybe kids in the crews would be cool and all but the adult racers might not want a kid sister or brother getting in the way of them although maybe Moordryd could do with a sibling...

Yeah. That's probably it. I don't blame most of them for not wanting little brothers or sisters in their way.

That is true...only a racer who was kind and willing enough to handle a kid on their team would do so...I mean Artha has Lance and Pyrrah has Sparkk but what about Spratt and Moordryd? Spratt did join the Dragon Eyes for a while!! :D

We should also remember that the crews, at least from what we've seen, are mostly composed of teenagers as opposed to adults. I think that there are younger kids in the crews that we haven't seen, we even have seen a few. But one should also take into account that a teenager might be a lot less tolerant of a ten or even twelve-year-old than an adult would.

Think about this, the crews are composed of mostly 16 year olds and up so technically aren't the crews made up of kids anyways? Also they all have dragons but not all have parents so how did these amazing racers get their dragons and even start the teams in the first place (besides being part of the original empires during the War)?
