I have a whole bunch of fanfiction topics that I am probably never going to update and they are just sitting in the fanfiction section rotting. Is there any way to delete them? If there is please tell me! Thanks. Also I have a few fanart topics that are sitting in there unused as well. Heh.

I can delete topics if you pm me a list of the ones you want gone, and so can LightningFlash, although I'd really appreciate it if you told me. I'd also really appreciate you not doing it, for the same reason: I maintain this web page of all the DB fics posted on this board, so people can look for your fics and find them if they've got the character/pairing/genre of their desires. Click on "Sorted by Author" and scroll down to see your name, and you'll find that you're one of the most prolific writers in the section. :)

If you ask me to delete topics I'll go off and do it and edit the webpage to indicate the stories aren't available any more, but my personal belief is that deleting information from the web is A Bad Thing. Especially in a smallish fandom, chances are someone might appreciate the stories someday. Some reasons for deleting fics are understandable--I've deleted one of my fics, once, because I was concerned the story might cause offence as against being merely bad--but I think it's almost always sad when nobody can get at the information any more.

Well I do want a few deleted because they are rather crappy fanfics...

I've deleted all the fanfic topics but Sister of the Prophets, because other people had quite a bit to say in that topic. LightningFlash will probably delete the fanart ones once she's back from a trip.

Do you mind deleting mine? Its called the Shadow Beast-The True dragon of Legend. Its also the only one that I have done. It would be really cool but I dont think Ill get time to ever finish it. It was going to have Beau get atacked and over powerd by the Beast and then the DB gauntlet would liquify of its own accord and awaken all the frozen dragons.

Are you sure you want to delete it just because it's discontinued? Like I said above, this is a pretty small fandom, and even despite it not being finished that doesn't mean nobody's ever going to be interested. And, spelling errors aside, I don't think it's an enormously awful fic.

Yeah, why not just leave it. It's not like it costs anything :) and others might be interested or inspired by it.
