I've recently put in a request to the Wikia community to create a seperate Wiki section for all of us, as fans of Dragon Booster to edit and compile a vast database of all our Dragon Booster info in such a manner that it makes searching for the information you desire becomes alot easier.

It is my intention that we could provide a full set of Episode synopses, as much information on the character as we can, including history, and even the Dragon Booster mythology. Gear, dragon types, all of it in one spot with an easy search function.

The various fan sites, Furox's especially, are incredibly handy resources, And I admire all of your efforts. But I think this could be a good idea so I've made the application. What do you guys think?

I can't see how a new site providing DB information would be a bad idea. :)

I'm talking about a whole Wiki devoted ONLY to Dragon Booster. Everything on it will only relate to Dragon Booster. And with the membership we have here we can get in SO much more information than the Wikipedia page has on it's own.

Well, keep in mind that despite the 450+ members listed on the front page, in actuality there are only about 10 members I would consider to be truly active, plus about 10 more that are "casual" members. These numbers have gone up and down a bit over time, but have remained remarkably consistent over the life of the forum. And with the lack of new episodes, I would imagine the number of active members to trail off over time. So I'm not sure how much help you'll actually be able to round up.

And while quite a number of people have offered to help me with dragon-city.org over time, once they discover that real work is involved in organizing, writing and presenting the material, I typically never hear from them again. :) To date, only three people from this forum have made small contributions to the site. Everything else I did myself. That's not to suggest that I have any hard feelings about that, since I knew from the very beginning that this would be the case. You may find yourself in the same situation.

One thing I have to ask though: if you do decide to start this effort, please don't take anything from dragon-city.org. I have over two years of effort invested in that and I assert copyright over everything on the site that isn't otherwise owned by The Story Hat, the fan artists and fan fiction authors. This is especially important since Wikipedia and Wikia operate under the GNU Free Documentation License which is not how I want my material to be treated.

My thoughts were that it would leave someone who was perhaps, not so well versed in DB a good chance to learn about it and that in itself would spark some more interest.

And I promise. I personally will take nothing from your site without at least asking your express permission first. The ammount of work you've put in is evident on every page, and I don't want to ruin that.

I'm still learning the system. But we've got a starting point.

Anybody who has any wiki experience, or is willing to lend some spare time to turning this into as handy a DB database as we can, are more than welcome to come along.

There's are no small contributors, just small pages. Everyone please feel free to add as much or as little as you'd like.
