Title: Draconian Lights
Description: a question

I was re-watching the pilot episode earlier on today, when I made a casual observation that puzzled me a little bit.

The draconium lights in the temple that react to the draconium in both Human's and Dragons.

As I understood it, they begin to glow as a reaction to the draconium in the bones, as was shown when Artha and Beau stepped into the temple and they lit up.

However, They were shown walking past Mortis who was standing amongst the statues. So if the lights react to the draconium in the bones, why weren't they already illuminated by Mortis's presence?

I think it react only with "pure" gold draconium and Artha have more gold draconium in his bones than any other. So, even that the energy of Mortis looks yellow or gold is not enough "pure" gold energy.

Look here in answer nš 3 from Magna Daconis:http://z10.invisionfree.com/Dragon_Booster...?showtopic=2130

Yeah, Mortis probably doesn't have enough gold draconium in him (his primary influence is listed as blue). Beau of course is loaded with gold draconium, so maybe the statues are reacting more to him than anyone else.

Or it's a plot hole. :)

Or possibly that Mortis can control his energy influences taught to him by the Dragon Priests and the Academy so he doesnt have anything happen that he doesnt want to.
