I just saw a preview for a movie that looks awesome called Dragon Wars. It appears that it takes place in modern time and all these dragon(with wings and the serpent type. i didn't see DB type but there possibly could be) were attacking cities and military was fighting them. Anyway, it looks awesome!

Yep. See this thread where we already talked about it recently. The movie opens on Sept. 14th in the US, but I'm not sure how widespread it will be. Can't tell if it's any good yet either.

I understand why Dolphinliss made that new thread because she wasnt on the frum for a while and missed that topic. I just saw the first comercials for it today on the TV myself. I think its gonna be great! And it comes out in 8 days from now too!

ya i'm in 8th grade too. i take a ninth grade level math course cause i'm in an advanced class

You think grade nine is hard, just wait until you are in grade ten. Where I come from that is the time when they find the weak math people and boot them out of the hard math class into the easyer math class.

My mom is taking me to see it on Sept. 14. I am so excited. I am wearing nothing but dragons that day!

Yeah. Math is hard at any grade level. Even Kindergarden.
Back to Dragon Wars. I plan on seeing the movie because it has dragons and soldiers. Those two are only put together for one reason. Fighting.
And the serpent Dragon makes me think of the Ancient Egyptian Serpent Apep. He was known as the Dark Dragon or Dragon of the Night. He supposedly fought the Sun God Ra every night while Ra was passing through the twelve gates that represent the twelve hours of the night. Supposedly an eclipse occured when Apep succeded in swallowing the sun. Uh, sorry for having a Parm moment there....
