Title: The Show
Description: will it stop? what would you do?

black and gold dragon - August 21, 2007 08:01 AM (GMT)
ok if the show stopped. i mean completly what would you do?
iwould try and find something else. may end up watching ghost rider or are we done yet a million times. sweet i own the movies.
but what would you do.[or what would you not do?

Sarah Frost - August 21, 2007 08:36 AM (GMT)
I don't find your threat to kill the creators very funny. Feeding gizzards to swamp alligators and/or the Muhorta is a funny non-threat, but your post isn't quite sarcastic enough.

I would go on with my life as per usual because a cancelled show is really not worth more than a few posts and a finding of something else to watch on a Saturday morning. There! :D

i would go and kill someone. go to allaince nerd corps and them and it'll be a blood feud. fan against creator. when i am through theyll have it back. beleive me.

but what would you do.[or what would you not do?

you scrare me :eep:

What I wil do... nothing, many series that I like have ended with no posibilities of having more episodes like "Dead like me", "Delta State" and "Carnivale" and all of them had open endings.

Dragon Fanatic - August 21, 2007 06:40 PM (GMT)
yeah, black and gold dragon, even though you're my buddy and all of that, I'll admit, that's kinda freaky. You mean it metaphorically right?

The Hydrag - August 21, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
That is a bit over board and needs to be more sarcastic and humerous but I would be very dissapointed for a while but I would try to find a new show to be obsessed with. I am also obssesed with a show called Bleach so I would probably join a forum concerning that. It would be very aggravating though. But it will happen someday after DB:A is done. On the bright side bleach still has another 60 eppisodes at least and no sign of weakening. Its too popular in Japan for it to die yet.

I'd cry, because I'm so picky of TV shows that I only like Dragon Booster. I will save everything I have of Dragon Booster, and keep it forever.

I admire your determination, black and gold dragon.

Dragon Fanatic - August 22, 2007 12:53 AM (GMT)
juno. There has to be another show you like *makes a measurement* Even this teeny tiny little bit.

black and gold dragon - August 22, 2007 05:46 AM (GMT)
i am sorry if i scared you or got you upset. but i have followed this show since it started. and bad thing is i dont have another show i like. but like i said i am sorry i didnt mean to get you all upset. i was just wonderin.

The Furox - August 22, 2007 08:07 AM (GMT)
You disappoint me greatly, black and gold dragon. I'm sure you thought your comments were funny or cool, but they're entirely inappropriate for a number of reasons.

First off, threatening people when you can't get your way isn't an effective tool in this world. You're better off learning that now rather than later.

Second, please explain the logic of directing your threats at the creators of the show and the production company that makes it. Why do you think they don't want to make more episodes? What possibly leads you to believe that they can profit by not making more episodes? Do you think they get paid for not making episodes? If you had paid any attention at all to the campaign for more episodes either here on this forum or on dragon-city.org, or had bothered to read any of the information from one of the creators of the show himself, you would know that they'd love to make more episodes. So why are you threatening them?

Third, why would you direct such comments towards the creators of the show when they've gone out of their way to answer our questions and share inside information with us? They don't have to do that you know. It's rude and ungrateful to make comments like that in general, and it's even worse when you direct them at people who have been extremely nice to us, especially considering things like how they've all looked the other way in regards to all the blatant copyright violation just about all of us engage in on a routine basis. If they wanted to, it's within their rights to force us to remove all the images from this forum, all the screen shot archives, all the fan art that's based on templates from the show or traced screen shots, and a large portion of dragon-city.org. They could also put an end to the episode downloading people are engaging in and perhaps take legal action against the individuals. I'm sure you've heard the saying "Don't bite the hand that feeds you," but apparently you haven't learned its meaning. I suggest you learn it.

You should be showing nothing but gratitude towards them, especially since they do read postings on this forum from time to time. My suggestion to you is that you go back and edit your posting and remove the threats. If you don't, minimally you won't be allowed to submit questions for the Q&A with The Magna Draconis.

And instead of whining about things, how about doing something constructive like printing out the petition and sending it in to the major networks. I bet you've never done anything like that. If the show is as important to you as you claim it is, you should be sending letters on a frequent basis like me and encouraging others to do the same. I wonder if you've even sent one.

By which they would be biting the hands feeding them, and a lot of our use is fair use or could be argued to be. *IP student, waves small "Fan Rights" banner* Admittedly they don't necessarily need the online fandom, even as a not-very-popular show, but even so their reputation would be tarnished by action taken against fans.

That being said, yeah, like I said above, death threats = not on. Especially really stupid ones.

SilverDragon - August 22, 2007 08:30 AM (GMT)
Dude, why are you wanting to kill the creators? Dead creators=no show.

Anyway, if DB stopped, I'd just go and watch Avatar or Skyland or Class of the Titans. Which is pretty much what I'm doing already.

Dragon Fanatic - August 22, 2007 02:34 PM (GMT)
With everthing Furox said, I'd have to agree. Just because they haven't put it back up, that's no reason to go and make death threats. And Magna Draconis has been informing us. If he saw the threats, he would get upset and quit talking to us.

The Hydrag - August 22, 2007 10:41 PM (GMT)
Well I dont know if he would stop talking to us completly but I know for sure that it would dampen his spirits. I know him fairly well and I do know he would be dissappointed in such statements. Hes an exceedingly nice man that is allwayse trying to better and uplift those around him. I suggest we all try to follow his example. Oh and I agree with Furox Id edit that first post.OK? Great!

Dragon Fanatic - August 22, 2007 10:52 PM (GMT)
Oh, I also meant that he wouldn't want to talk to us as much.

black and gold dragon - August 23, 2007 06:27 AM (GMT)
