Title: If Kitt Got Into Academy...
Description: Who would she bring?
Dragon Fanatic - August 20, 2007 08:44 PM (GMT)
If Kitt got into the Academy, I think she'd bring Penn Racing, Pyrrah, and Moordryd.
What do you think?
Sarah Frost - August 20, 2007 09:01 PM (GMT)
Only in some alternate universe. She thought Pyrrah's initiation used her, Moordryd's kidnapped her and mag-blasted her and fought her friends. If everything in canon was kept the same bar that she remained in her place at the top while Artha and Moordryd had their little cheating rivalry just behind her, she'd still have mild dislike/neutrality for Pyrrah and stronger dislike for Moordryd. She'd take Penn Racing and only Penn Racing; I don't think you're allowed to bring that many people. (The Crews should be annoyed at Artha for winning if you're allowed to take lots of people and he's only going to take his little group, one of which is ten and therefore won't get that much out of the Academy, rather than a larger group of street racers. Then again, maybe the writers will make him get some of the main Down City Council members so as not to waste the character designs.)

If Kitt was the one to win the position at getting into the Academy she should I think force Artha and the rest of the crew to give her some huge appologies and learn some humility before she took them. Kitt should have been the one to earn the position but alas it was Artha.
Phyrah used her and only manipulated her so no way there and Moordryd allwayse was a jerk to her so I doubt it there. I think that if she took anyone out side of the Racing crew it would be either Khatah or Stewarrd. Both I dont think have been jerks to her and they seem polite to her also.
Dragon Fanatic - August 20, 2007 11:03 PM (GMT)
I don't think Kitt would ask Khatah. She calls him a dork a lot.
Nayade - August 21, 2007 04:08 PM (GMT)
I have to agree with Sarah Frost, I don't think that Kitt will bring Moordryd to the Academy, no matter of how much I like this couple in the real universe of DB it will never happen. :(
That's why, if DB Academy comes one day, I will like to see a episode where they have to work together like Moordryd and Parmon in "Prophet's Motive". I will like to see Moordryd being more nicer with her. Is to much what I ask :P
Dragon Fanatic - August 21, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
Moordryd and Parm were working together in 'When Opposites Attract' or some title like that.

That...is something I can challenge.

They are. She can always leave if she wanted to.And they all saved her in Three Times a Hero. The fact that she might like Artha is also OK!!!

sorry guys i know it's been a long time since i posted (waaaaaaay to long!) but I tend to get into something and out of it quickly. Since the show went off the air, there hasn't been as much interest for me. With the hope of DB Academy though, I 'm getting back into it. As far as the question goes, If Lance was older-and racing- I would say him, because he and kit are kind of kindred spirits (and both like to stir the trouble!) I think that she would bring Phistus with her though. I think she admires his honesty and spirit ( even of she is a little critical of him at times!). This is of course, taking into account that Artha is already in. Besides, Phistus is one of the most honorable members of the council, admired by the whole Penn crew and dosen't use his brawn to take advantage. she knows she could rely on him.

Can you point me to significant Lance/Kitt interaction? He's sexist against her in Track of Doom (though she doesn't seem to really mind), she laughs about it when he knocks her down in a training run in Rules of Power, and she's his second choice or so to confide in about Malto. They're teammates and all, but they're not BFF or that similar (Lance isn't too competitive, Kitt's not too interested in viddgames).
No idea where you get the Kitt/Phistus vibe from. She's not terribly keen on Council meetings. I don't think she'd even consider him unless Mortis or Artha suggested it.

The Lance/Kitt connection should be pretty obvious. They both share the same sense of adventure, and are the first to jump in whenever Artha's in trouble (much to the chagrin of Parm). They also like to share a laugh at Artha when he gets cocky about his race standings or being DB. They also shared the feelings of loss. Lance & Artha initially thought they lost their father, and Kitt is an orphan. Lance might say some sexist things sometimes, or be annoying, but think Kitt kind of thinks of him as a little brother. Of course, Lance dosen't race.....
You're right about Kitt not liking the DC council all that much, but I do think she respects Phistus. Think about it...other than Katah (who I agree she probably woudn't pick) who has the Penn racing crew hooked up with the most, in trying to convince the other crews to act rationally? Phistus. In the "Framed" episode, who was falsely accused-along with Penn's crew-of sabotage and occupied a cell with Kitt? Phistus. Yes, she thought he was being an idiot trying to knock the cell door down, but the trust is there. I think that Artha probably has a better relationship with Phistus (both as himself and DB) but Kitt has a pretty good relationship too. He seems to do what's best for all parties involved and is honest (just like the Penn crew). It's really not that far-fetched.

She didn't really have a choice to share the cell with Phistus. That's where DCS threw her.

That's true. I'm just saying that they've had to work together several times and have developed a trust type of relationship.

Not really.

I'll re-edit this. What I mean, Dragon Fanatic, is explain why you don't think that Kitt and Phistus have a good relationship (on good terms having worked together). You've said they don't, but haven't really backed up your opinion with evidence. I've given evidence from the show where they have. (GRIN) Your turn.. ;)
