Did anyone notice the smiley face in the end of Mortis' staff? :P

What episode was this? (Yes, I live in Canada too, but I missed "Prophet's Motive" and "Still Water Freezes".) And if it's all the episodes, well, then, weeeeeeeeeeeiiiiiirrrrd bit of trivia there.

It was one of those two... cant remember which :D

From what I've heard about those two, Tyrannis Pax appears, the Prophet's attack, the Dragon Fish appear, and Moordryd obtains some kinda amulet thingy... :P

Attention all racers! And fans who don't want to race!

Apparently, according to the trailer I saw, in Prophet's Motive, the gang and Mortis find Propheci (don't remember if Reepyr was on or not) under some green trapping gear. Mortis says, "So that's Propheci...." and Artha replies, "Let's not get too close.
Cut to a part where an orange mind pod locks onto Mortis, and Propheci starts to control him! Apperently they're going to use Mortis to help take over the city
*Takes very deep breaths*

Oh yeah, and I posted a fic about a black bone mark, it's called Dark Dead End, staring Cain, Moordryd, and Lance! And their dragons, of course!

And speaking of which, get with updating that one. Using a character not yet seen in the show but is technically in the show got me amped. :D

Well, we all kinda know that he gets saved in the end, wouldn't be a good show without Mortis1 No sirree bob!

The top of his staff looks like a stylized dragon head to me, sort of along the lines of the helmet of Artha's dragon booster suit.

I'm I imagine this or his staff has a star like Beau's

The staff resembles a black and gold dragon, obviously, but Baby_Beau mentioned that the end of Mortis' staff, there's, by Magna Draconis, a smiley. *wants to see "Prophet's Motive" right now*

I just saw "Prophet's Motive" this morning (thankfully I'm staying at a Disney resort right now and so they've got ABC Family on the channel line up in the rooms) and there is definitely a brief shot where it looks like a smiley face on his staff. Without my Tivo, I can't go back and freeze frame on it to check it out further, but my first inclination is that the smiley appearance is a side effect of the camera angle as opposed to someone actually having drawn a smiley face on his staff. I'll have to go back and look at this when I get home as it is most curious, and potentially humorous. Would have made a great frame to have in the funny caption contest. :)

Right! The Amulet! I thought it was a Black Bonemark at first, but it's probably got a matching gauntlet of black draconium, like an anti-Dragon Booster! Either that, or it's a map to a Black Bonemark! And the really spooky eyes that accompanied it's speaking to Moordryd, can't forget that.

To me it looks like Beau's head ;) Which kinda fits concidering that Mortis is a dragon priest and that Beau is the dragon of legend.

That's the top of the staff. We're trying hard to peek at the bottom of the staff to see a smiley face. (Grr...*continuously rewinds "The Prophet's Motive" over and over again*)
