this isnt really about a new section, just that i think we should be able to upload custom fonts, just cuz that would be cool, i dont know if you have control ober that, so i'll just mention it. i have some really cool fonts that i'd love to use here, so i just kinda wish i could.

It's not really possible. Browsers use the fonts that are installed on your own computer to display text. So for a posting's text to appear in a custom font, then everyone who wanted to view it would first have to download and install that particular font on their computer. It's basically an exercise in aggravation. Ever wonder why you don't see fancy fonts used around the web? Well, that's why. And that's why the software that runs this forum doesn't even provide the ability to post with custom fonts.

There are only about four fonts that a web designer can pretty much be guaranteed are installed on any computer regardless of operating system, and those four fonts are about the only ones you ever see (except of course in banner images, but those are images and not text as far as the browser is concerned).

Well at least tell me this. How do I change text size and color in my posts? That has been driving me nuts for a while. And also how do you quote someone and get the persons name and time to appear above it. These are almost allwayse abouve the Furoxs quotes

It's pretty easy. Just use the "Size" and "Color" menus above the box where you type in your posting.

Just click the button that says "Quote" in the upper right above the posting you want to quote. It will fill in the person's name and time of posting automatically when you click either "Add Reply" or "Preview".
