You're welcome! :) Do you think you could maybe make me a bag like that, except with a different dragon?

dolphinliss - June 29, 2007 01:38 AM (GMT)
very sadly no, but they are very easy to make so i will tell you. you buy a plain white bag, t-shirt or whatever which you can find at pretty much any art store. you go to office max or staples and you have to buy this special paper. i don't know what it's called, but tell the people at the store you are lookikng for transfer paper. you have to scan you picture or pic a picture on the computer and print it on the transfer paper. you then put that paper on the shirt, bag, whatever and iron it. you need to have the design facing down. you want to put a lot of pressure and iron it for at least three minutes. let it cool until you can touch it and it is a normal temperature. you then peal off the paper, CAREFULLY and your done.

go to any art store and they can give you better directions but that is about it. like i said, very simple

you know what I am going to do that. It sounds easy to. My mom has done it so, it would a peice of cake.

dolphinliss - June 29, 2007 03:03 AM (GMT)
it is easy and fun. i wanted to post this in hopes of inspirering others to create their own DB or dragon stuff. I am not waiting for them to release more merchaindise!

Renesh - June 29, 2007 04:38 AM (GMT)
Yeah, well it might be copyright infringement to do this. Those are copyrighted designs after all. Personally, I'm not taking my chances, as cool as it would be to have stuff like that.

I don't think it really matters as long as you don't any money off of it. Beside its just for fun always. I know I would make a shirt with Storm on it. It would have the classic thing Race, Battle, Win on it.

Matryx - June 29, 2007 08:59 AM (GMT)
I believe she can do this as long as she doesn't advertise them. It is a form of fanart, and she cannot claim to own the designs, or sell them. ^^;; I'm pretty sure...

Dragon Fanatic - June 29, 2007 05:00 PM (GMT)
I wouldn't make a profit off it. No one else I know never even heard about Draogn Booster, so there no point in me trying to sell it to them. Besides, I'm not the kind of person like that. For money, I'm more like, sell lemonade for $0.50 than a person who steals copyright logos and pictures nad stuff like that.

The Hydrag - June 29, 2007 08:37 PM (GMT)

dolphinliss - June 30, 2007 03:30 AM (GMT)

by the way are you up to date with NS?

The Furox - June 30, 2007 10:54 PM (GMT)
The shirt and bag are very nice, dolphinliss. Those look like fun to have around. :)

In case anyone is interested, in addition to using the iron-on transfers, there are also numerous online photofinishing companies that will make all sorts of things for you from a digital image you upload to them. One example is printroom.com. They will make T-shirts, mugs, mouse pads, buttons, tote bags, aprons, greeting cards, baseballs, hockey pucks and even trading cards with your artwork on them. The prices are reasonable and the quality is generally good. Just FYI. :)
