Thats what I wanted to tell you about. Cause I don't know where it went. LF was on it and must have deleted it. All that work is gone. I new i should have copied all that work and saved it. So that i would have been safe.

I don't have a clue. It was something we wanted to do. I spent (13 7min) 13 hours and 7 minutes awake becuse of that story. It was ineresting. All that sleep I could of had. And it was because of SUGAR. I love sugar. But that RP post should have stayed I loved it soo much. So did Alexis and Tom. Alexis was just getting to the good part to. :( It makes me angry too

this is too much!..... I mean was she jealous that it was not her idea?...I mean anyone could have joined....she logs on and then the RP is gone..and just as fast she has logged off.....I have "NO" note saying it would be deleted....so it is not fair to get mad and delete a harmless little RP that some members were having fun with....that is very childish if you ask me....

I agree. I mean she could have told us and then we would have took care of it. That would have been a good idea. then we would be having fun in the place she told us. The story was sorda like a game to me. And Alexis to as well. Tom wasnted to come and save you guys but. It got deleted now he is in the stables with a sad face. I have my own website so far. But maybe it is a good idea here. Just put it in fan Fiction and do all that stuff LF said to do. Or she can tell us where to put it so we can do what we were doing then. I don't know thats all I got so far.

I deleted it because this forum is not an RP forum. There are places like Dragon Legends for that. Ths topic has been covered multiple times before, and if you can't be bothered reading through and checking about stuff like this before you start, then why should I bother doing it for you?

As crushed as I am by the fact that RP was invented before I was born to do it, if I want to join a DB RP, it certainly won't be yours.

Fine well take care of it and post it in a different place. Meaning a website, or maybe even Dragon Legends. Or any othre RP site that I don't know of. We just played that little story as a game. To get to know each others dragons well, and each other. If it'll make you happy well find another way to do that. End of conversation, please. Well find some place else.

I read the rules...and there is nothing there that said that RP is "Not" allowed....and what we were RPing is not allowed on Dragon Legends.....we were not hurting anyone. and if it was that bad, you should have made a post in it saying you can't do this here. and we could have copyed it and left it at that. but no, you just come on deleted it and then log off. that was not fair.....

I think Dragon Legends is the place dose not let you have any dragons that are Mixed gold grey, or have Booster forms.....btu I'm not to sure....

This forum is in maintenance mode. Currently, only staff members may log in. They are making the furoum better. The creator said it will last about 2 to 3 weeks. Whe it's done thhey will e-mail everybody to let them no it's done.

This may be true, but it was not stated in the rules, which Alex had checked before creating the thread. I didn't know that there was a rule that we must read every topic before posting or creating threads... I do read many topics, but I have yet to see them all, and without seeing that thread, how were we to know?

*I am not trying to start an argument with this question by any means, it's just that I don't believe we should be looked down upon because we hadn't read every discussion topic yet, and the responses felt like that is the case. Though I do agree that alex was overly angry with his statements, Lightning's responses towards all of us (and I don't believe I said anything that could be concidered nasty) were kind of degrading...*

I've located two RP threads. Though a RP is obviously off-topic for General Discussion, my opinion is that you've made a point that it should be in the rules itself.

The former thread in Requests has LightningFlash discussing the RP that was on the board before they were removed, but the latter thread in Help has her post here explaining why RPs aren't available any more. I have a vague memory of a couple of other RP threads, but I can't find any in a search.

Good post, but it didn't really say why. Does it take too much room on the Fourm? It is hard to keep it in shape? I am not trying to be mean, just saying what is on my mind.

I can understand that she no longer wants to run rp's on this board, because of past failed rps. It's perfectly logical, I just wish the fact was more readily available, because I feel looked down upon for not knowing automatically.

Perhaps if she adds a rule against it, or something would come up in search, it will deter such misunderstandings from occurring in the future?

Role Playing on the internet is just writing bits of a story with your own characters. Its really simple and fun, since my writing is to the point while, Matryx writing is much more detailed. So if we put those togethere, we got one awsome story. We are doing a bit of Role Playing right now, not here don't worry.

Apart from the fact that none of my comments were directed at you, how exactly is a person supposed to feel after reading comments like;

I don't think 'belittled' even comes close. It's rather hurtful to know that users harbour resentment towards me for doing things to benefit the forum, like deleting spammers. I've had over two years of this, and I'm not going to stop and explain every single time I have to delete a thread.

Please stop encouraging their self-righteous belief that I am the villain here by implying that I have even said anything wrong. Given my personal reaction to those comments, my response was very mild. I explained my actions, and did not resort to childish accusations, or wailing for my wounded feelings.

I will add a no RP rule. Although in my personal opinion the longer the rule list, the less likely people are to read it, and it seems that there's few enough people who do as is, at least it will make situations like this easier in future.
