Okay, this is a majorly dumb question, but how do i put a picture on my signature? I tried pressing the "img" button, but it said "enter a URL" or something, and I was like wtf, what does that mean???? Because i wanted to use an image in my documents and I have no idea how to upload it.
So, um, help?
URL stands for Uniform Resource Locator, and just means a website address.
http://www.example.comAn image address should end with "jpg", "png", or some other image format.
Example code:
| CODE |
| [IMG]http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r94/CiaraSabine/FearAce.jpg[/IMG] |
How that shows up:
If you want to post pictures from your computer onto the forum, youd best sign up to a image hosting site, such as imageshack.us or photobucket.com. Both these hosting sites are free and you can resize images to fit with the forum rules (about having pictures that are suitably sized).
Then all you need to do is upload the pictures from your computer onto your image hosting account (if you need help, then you can ask here, or there are tutorials available for you to use in the help or FAQ sections on those sites mentioned above)
Ah, okay, thanks. :)
I'll make a photobucket account right now.
