Title: Werewolf Or Vampire
Description: What are you......
Khatah - June 13, 2007 07:48 AM (GMT)
So what does everyone like.
I am personlly a Werewolf fan, there so cool. Besides Dragons, Wolves would probably have to be for anything. Like lets say The Wolf Booster :D , "Let The Wolves Howl" :D
Da Suga Queen - June 13, 2007 09:07 AM (GMT)
Werewolves for me. Vampires creep me out with the whole "I vant to suck a your blood!" and their fear of garlic.
Also, I took a "What's your inner beast" quiz and I got the werewolf, so yeah. Go werewolves!
demonicangel53 - June 13, 2007 10:48 AM (GMT)
I prefer Vampires, though werewolves are cool, they can only turn at the full moon, where vampires can do many different things, plus vampires are in a kind of grey area. There are many different myths that say different things about vamps, like changing shape, changing appearence. I like to think there is more to them than werewolves.
BlueBooster - June 13, 2007 02:27 PM (GMT)
Iam also a werewolf person ^^ rawr :P
The Great Grey - June 13, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
Werewolf all the way. Well I love animals so anything with an animal is a win for me.
The Furox - June 13, 2007 05:03 PM (GMT)
Werewolf, definitely. They're very cool. Larry Niven has a couple of science fiction based werewolf short stories which are good, and there's even a sci-fi novel about werewolves called "Hair of the Dog" which is a fun read, though the ending is weak. I think the best werewolf movie would have to be "An American Werewolf in London". A little scary, but with a mixture of quirky humor. Makes it a fun movie.
Of course, a weredragon might be even better. :) Or maybe a were-dragon-wolf hybrid. :D
Liliwen - June 13, 2007 05:25 PM (GMT)
Werepyre, because I can't choose and I want to see if I can get the best of both worlds. :D
Elushun - June 13, 2007 07:56 PM (GMT)
Werewolf. Vampires spend to much time cooped up in stuffy haunted mansions and whatnot. Give me a good nightly bout of villager terrorizing any day!
Renesh - June 14, 2007 06:04 AM (GMT)
Werepyres. ^_^ You get to creep people out, wear fancy (if uncomfortable) aristocratic clothing, terrorize the vilagers, and eat the sheep. What more could you ask for? XD Seriously though, werepyres rule. You get the best of both worlds.
The Hydrag - June 14, 2007 07:01 AM (GMT)
I gotta go with werewolves. I do think that blood at least my own blood tastes pretty good I wouldnt be able to stand drinking so terribly much of it. Anyone seen the movie called Underworld? Or Underworld evolution? AWESOME movies. Theres even a hybrid. In there cleverer wws have learned to change form with out the help of the full moon. Sides if I was a vamp Id probably bite my tounge too much.
I vant t-* OUCH! Dang it not again!!*
SilverDragon - June 14, 2007 07:43 AM (GMT)
A few years ago, I liked pretending I was a werewolf. It just seemed kind of fun, turning into a wolf and doing whatever the heck you wanted. :D

Thats exactly why I came up with this poll. Lately ive been thinking im a werewolf *to much Van Helsing*. Well im not, well at least i think im not. Thats the good thing about having an imagination, theres no limits. Im still a kid at heart, 14 and everybody tells me to act my age. But people my age do boring things and get drunk and stuff at my school so I dont hang with them. I hang with all the nerd peoples.
dolphinliss - June 14, 2007 05:01 PM (GMT)
getting drunk at 14! geese, and i thought my school was bad
i would have to say werewolf for me, just cause wolves are cool
Khatah - June 15, 2007 09:29 PM (GMT)
Yeah its pretty bad alot of girls in my year have been to parties and gotten drunk. I really dont know why they do it, if you ask me if there trying to be cool they must be the stupidess people on the planet.
Salazaar - June 20, 2007 02:49 AM (GMT)
I'm a werewolf and vampire fan. I love the traditional and the more modern versions of them both. I liked the ones in Van Helsing, I liked them in Underworld 1 and 2, but I think my favorite would have to be the ones in the Twilight book series.
The vampires aren't harmed by the sun, can survive off of animal blood instead of people (but humans still tempt them but the animal blood keeps them strong enough to resist, and the ones who drink animal blood as a substitute for human blood are sort of like the vegitarian vampires), have hard cold stone-like skin, amazing beauty, venom, immortality, and have super human speed, strength, senses, and even extra powers like mind-reading and future-seeing, while the werewolves don't need a full moon to transform, turn into gigantic wolves in a blink of an eye, retain a constant warm body temperature, heal very quickly, and they can both walk amoung us totally undetected. They're really cool and Stephanie meyer thought them up really well. I'm totally head over heels in love with the uber hot Twilight character, Edward Cullen, who is the most amazing Vamprie in the world, so I'd have to go with vampries. *giggles*
Sorry. ^_^
atomicnewt2552 - July 17, 2007 04:37 PM (GMT)
werepyre or weredragon, check adventure quest for my references. if you want the story of real vampires, check out the Saga of Darren Shan (by Darren Shan) that will tell you about the real vampires.
Dragon Fanatic - July 28, 2007 02:37 PM (GMT)
I picked Vampire. You're all stereotyping vampires.
1. Vampires are actually kinda party animals
2. Stake to the heart, cross, or garlic do not kill them.
3. Sunlight is only like a nasty sunburn to them.
4. They do sleep during the day, but will wake up.
5. If they catch your scent, you are dead meat.
6. There is a leader of the nest (8 to 10 vampires)
7. They can make you a vampire by you drinking their blood.
8. Dead Man's Blood is like poison to them.
9. The only way to kill the suckers is to cut off their heads. They're immune to everything else (except for this special gun that kills anything)
I learned this off the most educational show of all time! :D Supernatural!
Anyone who would've seen the episode 'Dead Man's Blood' will know what I'm talking about.
Nayade - October 23, 2007 10:39 PM (GMT)
I vote for Vampires too. :)

I know it that they require a lot of "steps" to keep them dead. But I could be brong.

Nah. All you gotta do is kill any of the other ones that want to kill you and bam! They're dead!
Should check out Supernatural. It'll explain it all.
DemonicFury - October 24, 2007 12:19 AM (GMT)
I like both, but I'm siding with the werewolves. Why? Because I am.
Renesh - October 24, 2007 03:00 PM (GMT)
Fanatic, you are the one that's getting it wrong. If you want to know what a vampire is actually like, read Dracula! By Bram Stoker? The original vampire book? The book that all vampire stories are based on? I just finished reading it, and here are my corrections:
1. Vampires just want to kill all humans. Why, I dunno. It was never explained. They just do I guess.
2. Crosses and garlic only repel them, but stakes kill them.
3. Sunlight has no known effect on them, they never go out during the day.
4. They do sleep during the day, and won't wake up, even if you try to kill them. They also must have either their coffin or dirt from near it to sleep in/on.
5. If they catch your scent, it doesn't mean anything except that they are way too close to you, because they don't have better noses than humans.
6. There is only one true vampire (Dracula) and all others were turned by him, thus must obey him. He can also see through their eyes and vice-versa.
7. They can make you a vampire by drinking your blood. Though you usually only become a vampire after you die.
8. Dead Man's Blood doesn't exist exept in Supernatural.
9. A wooden stake through the heart is the only way to kill them. But after you hammer the stake through them (with the thing screaming and blood spurting everywhere) you have to cut off their heads and fill their mouths with garlic to make sure they don't come back.

In fact, Stoker was inspired on another book called "The Vampire" done by John Polidori, that was also the inspiration for many authors like Edgar Allan Poe.

I haven't reed it yet, I do want. But I know that Bram Stoker also base his story on Vlad The Impaler, a prince that killed thousand of people by impalement, and with also other methods, and was considerated one of the most sadistic and bloodthirsty person in that time. So, I think these idea comes from here. Also, I think Stoker was inspired on Vlad's niece , called Elizabeth de Bathory, she was also a psychopath like him and she killed thousand of virgin girls and use their blood to take baths with the intention to stay young.

You have your vampires. I have mine. :plot:
Sarah Frost - October 26, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)
Elizabeth Bathory wasn't Vlad's niece. She was around a hundred years after him.
Dragon Fanatic - October 26, 2007 12:48 AM (GMT)
Oh! I know which vampire you're taking about! I learned about her in my Harry Potter and my Prisoner of Azkaban computer game! :D

I thought of this last night Renesh. Your vampires are the olden day types. Mine are the modern day types.
Renesh - November 1, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
Fanatic, there are tons of "modern day types". I just thought I ought to let you know that you shouldn't consider a version that only exists in one show as the "real" vampires.

I'm not saying that mine are the only ones that exist. Those are the vampires I refer to.

I've been on a serious 'Vampire Knight' kick lately, and Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust is one of my favourite movies to zone out over when I'm sick, so I went for vampires.
Werewolves are cool too, if a tad more inclined to leave hair in the plughole. :P

Never heard of those. Sounds good though.
If you want your fill of vampires, go see 30 days of night. My sister saw it. I couldn't watch it. I wouldn't be able to sleep for the rest of my life! :eep: :eep:

I like werewolves. Wolves are my favorite animals.
Dragon Fanatic - June 7, 2008 03:03 PM (GMT)
Vampires triumph wolves any days!
I ask this question to my friends which they'd rather be and they all said vampires
Arthapenn - June 7, 2008 03:10 PM (GMT)
I choose werewolves. I worry only when there is a full moon, at least. I do not have to be on guard every minute of the day.
