Title: Who Should Be The Leader Of The Down City Council?

Dragon Fanatic - June 10, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
Okay, you're a member of the council and there's some tension stirring up. So, they someone asks you who should led because they decided that jousting isn't fair for all of them. You then decide to nominate three people for who should lead instead of choosing yourself. Who would you nominate to lead the Down City Council of 12 and why?

1. Moordryd cause he is one of the most powerful people in Down City AND he's going to the Academy. Plus, I'm a fangirl.
2. Chute cuz she's already at the Academy and a really cool racer and an ideal canidate from the start. Plus, I'm a fan. :D
3. Marianis cuz she is pretty smart and she's actually a good racer and leader. Plus, I'm a fan. :D

You get to pick three people to nominate to lead.

Sarah Frost - June 10, 2007 03:29 AM (GMT)
Phistus because he's got the experience, Pyrrah because she seems to want it and she could do with some responsibility to stop her being controlled by Word all the time, and Marianis because in theory she's smart. Moordryd and Chute won't have enough time with their Academy studies to so much as poke their noses into Down City, and besides Moordryd's still young and immature and Chute's not exactly stable herself. Definitely not Artha, he's got more than enough handed to him on a silver platter already and he's still immature and hasn't spent as much time as Moordryd at meetings.

Renesh - June 10, 2007 06:28 AM (GMT)
1. Phistus, for reasons already stated.
2. Marianis, because she seems to be a smart and level-headed person.
3. Kawake, because I'm certain that he's the oldest of the leaders and therefore has the most experience in how to handle things. Also, he seems to be pretty wise to me, aside from his weakness to promises of being useful again. Though if he was the leader then he would be useful, so no more problems with that!

Shaynn seems to attend the council meetings for Kawake though, so he must be really afraid of people finding out that he's paralyzed. :/

Liliwen - June 11, 2007 12:20 AM (GMT)
1. Phistus, because he seems to be doing a good job already.
2. Kawake because he's experienced, and more mature than any others.
3. Marianis, because of reasons stated above.

Empyrean-Dragon - June 27, 2007 03:08 AM (GMT)
I pick Wulph 'cause he's got a sense of leadership in him! But then again, he may just mess things up like choosing the wrong side of certain conflicts.

Khatah - June 27, 2007 05:34 AM (GMT)
I think artha should be, he is the dragon booster after all. but khatah wouldnt do a bad job either.

Rivit - June 29, 2007 05:24 AM (GMT)
Phisty for obvious reasons.... I'm sorry I've got more pressing business to do other than leading a council :D

The Great Grey - June 29, 2007 06:01 AM (GMT)
I think Moordryd show lead. From the book Prince.

"It is better to be feared then loved" No, I have never read the book and I don't plain to take over the world anytime soon.

In other words, people do what you want them to do when they are afraid of you.

The Hydrag - June 29, 2007 06:31 AM (GMT)
I think that the best choice would
Phistus then Khatah because he likes order and wont allow chaos to reign and finally Kawake becausse he seems to be a fair player.

We finaly agree on something!!!!! Artha would be the last for my vote because he is probably the most hot headed and most imature of them all. I mean if Vociferous was leader then at least they would be good at manipulating people. I think the absolutely best person though would be Mortis while he has done some stuff that is less than praise worthy shall we say but he is wise and fair in his dealings with people.

Matryx - June 29, 2007 08:41 AM (GMT)
Chute - Because she is in the acedmy and can lead the crews in the right direction to get there themselves.

Phistus - Because he has experience and commands a great amount of respect as it is.

Propheci - Because... I would follow him ^.=.^ <3

This was a great poll.

juno - June 29, 2007 05:02 PM (GMT)
I say Phistus should still keep his position in the council. He seems like the one who knows how to maintain control. Artha would work too, but he doesn't strike me as a council leader.

Thanks! I thought of it at two in the morning when I started to shake. (Long story on why I shake, but it you want to see why I have it posted in this topic. Healthcare in Dragon City

Full stories there.

I say Phistus because he knows how to keep peace and Moordryd would start a new dragon human war because of Word. He is also experienced in this type of job and he always keeps his cool even in a crisis.

Phistus does not keep his cool! He goes and smashes stuff and yells at people. To me, that is not keeping cool in a crisis.

Nayade - July 30, 2007 11:36 PM (GMT)
Even if I don't like Phistus, I think he is the best to lead the Down City Council. He has more experience and it looks like he know how to put people in order (even if he smash the table all the time :D)

Dragon Fanatic - August 7, 2007 04:52 PM (GMT)
I'm not sure. A lot of the crews are not listening to him and going their own way. They're not going in his order.

Aniu_the_white_wolf - August 9, 2007 09:24 AM (GMT)
I voted for:
Phistus: because I think he's doing a great job at the moment, and probably has the best way to restore order.
Kawake: because he's wise, knows alot, and he's probably the oldest crew leader and he's more experienced in life than the other crew members and he's respected by practically everyone in Dragon City.
Propchei: because he will cause absolute mayhem  and it sounds great fun.

Wait. I just got me thinking!

Where do they get all those new tables from that Phistus smashes?... :P :P :P

MaiBeyblader - November 15, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
Phistus-For reasons already stated (those being experience and... experience)

Kawake-Come on, the guy is great. Non-judgemental, calm, reasonable (when not being manipulated)... who wouldn't want this guy leading?

Pyyrah-Well, sometimes it looks like she could handle it and like someone said, she wants it. Then again, those who want leadership may not be any good at it...

(Sorry if I mispelled any names/words)

But they could have a back way for him to get inside. :D

I don't see why the DCC wouldn't be wheelchair accesable. I haven't seen any stairs, and the doors just kind of whooosh open, so Kawake wouldn't have trouble going through them. Plus, they're pretty big. Large enough for his wheelchair. Perhaps he doesn't go because of the same reason Chute may not go; he's too busy with other things.

Dragon Fanatic - November 17, 2007 09:35 PM (GMT)
Agree with Liliwen there.

Shining-Dragon - November 18, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
i agree too. good reasons there!

drake - May 25, 2008 07:04 PM (GMT)
i would say Kawake because he is an noble person who trys to do wat is right and not judge people by their reps but by who they are not who they no

Cain - November 19, 2008 10:29 AM (GMT)
Phistus is doing a good job in the Down City Council, and he did try to keep the council whole in ep 37. Though he failed, he is the rightful leader. In Defiant, he agreed with Artha's plan, and managed to get everyone on his side (except of course Moordryd and Cain). Wulph was arguing, but in the end, he went to Phistus's side.
Kwake should be a 'vice president'. He will not judge people.
