I think every fandom does haiku at some point and we should be no exception! :D So let's have some Dragon Booster haiku!

For anyone not familiar, a haiku is a Japanese form of non-rhyming poetry. A haiku is always three lines long, with the first line being exactly five syllables, the second line being exactly seven syllables and the third line again being exactly five. The number of words per line is irrelevant; only the number of syllables counts.

The best haiku are ones that state something profound or evocative, but funny or irreverent ones are good, too. Here's an example of one I found on the Internet:

Haiku is easy
But they don't always make sense
Refrigerator

:D It's a perfectly valid haiku. :)

Dragon of Legend
Black and gold dragon named Beau
Release the Dragon!


Propheci the great
An orange dragon so cool
Favorite of mine


Kitt Wonn and Artha
Quite a pair of teenagers
But who will Parm date?


Decepshun is sleek
With snake-like physique and charm
Might she marry Beau?


Dragons should rule all
So says Propheci with zeal
Maybe he is right!


OK, so those aren't so great ^_^ , but they're kind of fun to write. Now it's your turn! Post your haiku below.

Frachsun is a titch
But strength does not come from size
Go, blue dragon, go!

Parm is a big nerd
But without him Artha's stuck
Yay for those who think!

Abandonn is big
Woe to those caught underneath
Large feet hurt them much!

Beau, the Blue&Red dragon
is the dragon of legend

Well, that's not quite haiku. "Blue&Red" is still three syllables even when you leave out the spaces :), which makes your first line seven syllables long. You could have said "Beau, blue-red dragon" instead since that would have been the required five syllables. This is poetry, so we don't have to worry about grammar. :D

So that he can rule

Pretty sure I used a couple extra syllables. Point them out and I'll try to fix 'em. :)

I only see a shortage of syllables in one--"Old man is evil", four rather than five. :P Otherwise, pretty good haikus! :)

Well, how about: "Much gorgeous red coloring" or "Strikingly handsome is he". Yes, I think that second one says it all. ;)
