i know that Moordryd and Word have said quote "Do you have any proof?" refering to the crimes they have done. why hasn't Artha, when Parm tells him there is trouble have Kitt video tape the crime while Dragon Booster is fighting Moordryd and others? Also, in episode" Three times a hero" captaim Faier says that Kitt is being held capive in the dragon eye compound. why didn't they think that the dragon eyes had kidnapped her?By the way, I am not rooting for Moordryd to be caught.

read and respond please

A few reasons I think- firstly because it's cartoon land and the villian never gets caught by anyone except the hero....

But if we ignore that irritating breach of logic common in animation, there are other reasons.

In "The mechenist" Moordryd boasts knowing the only way out of Precinct. It kinda dances around the edges of hinting he's been in there before, so it's probably safe to assume he's been caught when he was younger and escaped enough times to be familiar with it.

Then there's Marianis' quote in "Still Waters Freeze"saying everyone, including Captain Faier, is frightened of The Dragon Eye's and Word Paynn, though I'm not sure why they're scared of the Dragon eye crew, Moordryd's hardly a thug. 'Oh no! a fifteen year old anorexic! Run! he might faint from hunger in our direction and then go into some teen angsting about it!' *laughs*

I think early in the series they also state down city is pretty lawless, and the cops don't bother, especially in Squires End.

Word seems to use Moordryd to cover his own backside a bit too. Even though Moordryd's doing 99% of what he does at his father's bidding, there really isn't any proof linking them, and I doubt father-approval obsessed Moordryd would testify against him if he was caught. I'm guessing in public Word shakes his finger at his son and says "naughty naughty" and lets the transgressions slide. Besides, even now, Money buys immunity, and from what I can tell, Word's probably the richest man in Dragon City.

Despite my picking on him I DO like Moordryd, and I'd like to see him battle possibly the fuzz rather then getting constantly humiliated by Artha, but I don't think it will happen.

Hey, if you're hinting that Moordryd's all bad news, think again. Look at Wraith Booster.

Word goes and punishes him. I think that's enough for poor Moordryd. That brave little soilder. *gives him a hug* Too precious for this world.
