Title: Sorted Fic Index
Description: Find fic by title, pairing, date...

Sarah Frost - February 17, 2007 10:01 PM (GMT)
Did you know...

That the longest known Dragon Booster fic is 58925 words long? That the most common pairing is Artha/Kitt? That over half the fics posted are incomplete? That the largest number of chapters in a fic posted is 75?

Check out this sorted fic index as a guide to finding some of the great Dragon Booster fic posted in this forum.

Here's a key to understanding some of the terms used, and go here if you want me to change any information about your story. Please give me your own summaries if you want them used. :) And especially please tell me if you make a change that doesn't make the story pop up to the top of the forum, such as major edits--I'd like to keep the index as up-to-date a record as possible. I appreciate being told about broken links, inaccurate descriptions and the like; that way, I can fix it!

How it works: I make a note in my masterlist of updates, new stories, etcetera as I watch the forum. After I've made several such notes, I decide to run a computer program, which gives me the updated HTML code I then upload to the web page. I'll probably update it weekly or thereabouts.

Hope you enjoy. :cookie: Comments and suggestions are very welcome.

This is very useful

I am currently at war with your website, Sarah (my Crap Computer vs. Lots of Information Overload) so it may take awhile for me to see this properly.

EDIT: Success! In the midst of early downloading I just hit the "Stop" button on the browser and browsed through all these fics without hassle.

I love this idea, drac and useful. But is it possible to put a line between each of the entries? It's not too hard to read, but it would make it easier. Drac job! :cookie:

I've altered it to add a border now, assuming that's what you meant. :) Hopefully it'll show up soon.

Liliwen - February 18, 2007 03:22 AM (GMT)
That's exactly what I meant! Thanks! :)

I've added a note in the summary that Liliwen beta'd for you. It'll show up on the website next update. :) Thanks for the information!

Thanks so much for doing this, though my computer seems to be having a problem with it. It says there is a script running that may cause my computer to be unresponsive and recomends I stop it. Other than that it is a very useful resource and I'll have to do more browsing later. :)

Sarah Frost - February 20, 2007 06:18 PM (GMT)
I've added a temporary Geocities link to the first post, which seems to work better than Freewebs. I'll try to get a better URL later.

DargonXKS - February 21, 2007 05:59 AM (GMT)
Ah yes, that works much better! Thanks so much! :D

Sarah Frost - February 21, 2007 09:30 AM (GMT)
All right, now I've got a better link. Shearkin, your edit is also up. :) The other links now only point to that page. Hope it works!

Whaddya mean, Reignbeau is a 'potential sue'?!?! That's about the understatement of the YEAR.

Sarah Frost - February 21, 2007 10:22 AM (GMT)
Now now, I need to maintain a semblance of neutrality as an archivist. :P

I've got a question that's bothering me lately:

When I wanted to update my fic, do I have to PM Sarah about the update that I'm going to implement? Just not really sure if I have to do so everytime.

Sarah Frost - February 24, 2007 05:44 AM (GMT)
Nope; I do watch the forum. :) Just tell me if you're worried I've missed an update, or I've made a counting error or you'd like some other detail changed.

I_Am_Chute - March 5, 2007 11:13 PM (GMT)
In my story I edited it and now it has has a another chapter

Sarah Frost - March 5, 2007 11:16 PM (GMT)
Thanks very much for informing me of the edit. :)

Can you put the Dragon World one in please?

Finding of the Storm is more about Storm Hawks in a DB world.
