Title: Unique Or Interesting Things
Description: that you've done in your life
Salazaar - February 5, 2007 09:01 PM (GMT)
I know that everybody's probably done something unique in their life.
Like, something that another person might never have the chance to do.
A few of mine are:
~I've swam with Manatees in Crystal River, Florida
~I've swam with Dophins on a trip to Atlantis
~I've taken a vacation to Atlantis with my family
(Really Drac Island resort on Paradise Island, Bahamas. It's like they actually rose Atlantis out of the water!! :eep: It's so Cool!!)
~I've fallen into a Brakkish river that has Alligators in it.
(*shivers remembering it.* My first thought was: "ALLIGATORS!!!" :eep: :eep: )
~I've pet a Tarantula and a Crocodile (at a Wildlife showing thing at the zoo)
~I've made my own Freewebs website
~I've eaten Octopus and Alligator
~I've eaten a cup cake that was made with mayonaise and pickles
*gags*
and that's all I got so far!
You guys's turn! :)

I saw Comet McNaught. Apparently it won't appear for another 86,000 years. Go, me.
Salazaar - February 7, 2007 02:01 AM (GMT)
LUCKY!
That sounds really drac!
Was it?
phsycopathicdragon - February 7, 2007 02:48 AM (GMT)
Well, I surfed, yes, surfed on dolphins in Cuba last year, that was preety nice
turkmen - February 7, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
The stuff I did isn't as fancy as yours, since I've never been on such increbible trips, let alone with a family but I still treasure the things I did (and hope I'll never do again)
So I:
~ jumped on a bungee
~ made a cow go upstairs
~ said the 'F' word in the face of polish prime minister of education (a complete jerk)
~ got lost in mountains (Tatry) and had to spend a night in the wild
~ ran away from a sailing camp and had to hitch-hike back home (about 200 miles)
~ survived a 56-hours long storn on the see (it's a miracle I survived)
~ jumped with a parachute
~ drank vodka in front of the police station in Gdańsk
~ missed 3 flights in a row
~ threw a boot at my headmaster (it wasn't intended though; I was pointing at a snoring teacher sleeping nearby)
~ borrowed a boat (I gave it back later so it wasn't stealing)
~ drank absinthe
~ met Brian Molko (I'm not his fan, I just wanted an autograph for my sis)
~ and ate an octopus too : )

Ha! Sound like fun!
I thought of a few more for me.
I've:
~ gotten hit in the neck with a frisbee
~ seen a water snake snag a minow that was split in two and hanging out the sides of the snakes mouth
~ seen a metoer shower
~ learned what Jello's made of (*gags*)
Crap, that's all I can think of! :faint:
The Furox - February 8, 2007 03:54 AM (GMT)
I've done a number of things in my field of computer science, but I doubt most people here would consider any of that to be "interesting", so I'll list these instead: :P
- I've ridden 366 different roller coasters across North America and Europe to date (yes, I keep a list)
- I've managed to break my right arm twice
- I have a pilot's license to fly gliders
- I've hiked to the top of Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in the continental US at 14,505 feet (4,421 meters)

Good luck with art school. it's easier then it sounds XD
I'd love to be professional- I want to publish comic books (Graphic novels, really) one day, soon, if things go right... and I design and sell T-shirts and cards at the various artists markets around Melbourne to make ends meet until then, though, and I'm part of a showing for the Melbourne fashion festival with my shirts, but I wouldn't boast professionalism yet Sounds too much like organization *laughs*

I was a premie baby. Y'know, born early? I was born 3 months early. I had a bunch a' stuff wrong with me and almost died. I almost took my mom with me for that matter. I'm a miracle baby. (not to brag or nothin' :D ) There was so much crap that could've killed me, it's a wonder that I'm alive today. I could've ended up blind, deaf, or had mental problems, but I'm perfectly fine except for I have glasses, which are no biggie at all compared to what I might've had to have. I could've needed a wheelchair, pipes in my throat, oxygen mask all the time, anything! But, I got off with glasses and braces and am an "A" student in 7th grade now who's 14 years old.

Shiroi_Neko - April 5, 2007 01:39 PM (GMT)
Woah, you guys got lotsa more stuff happening than I do.
Well, there are a few thing I might find interesting in my life...or not..
- Dragged my scooter up to a steep hill, ride downhill and crashed on the pavement just near the hill. Nearly broke my right arm LOL.
- I have this strange skin problem where some of my scars (from accidents, injections, chicken pox, etc) creates a strange growth and will expand as I grow. Doctors said it's nothing serious, so it's not gonna be a cancer or anything. The biggest one I have is on my chest, now bigger than bottle cap in diameter, created from a small chicken pox scar I got when I was 9, now I'm 18.
- I jumped a large drain near my house, missed and fell into the drain, seriously hurt my right leg.
- My parents told me that my talents comes from both of my late grandfathers.
- Anime and manga saved my life, without it, I've could be living aimlessly without a goal in life.
- My friend told me that people who have a certain toe longer than any of your toes, you'll be a queen control in a family or in yer job. Mine is long, scales!
- I've seen a wild owl in broad daylight.
- When I was 10, I was the laziest in class and never completed my homework for the whole year. Guess I was lucky that I survived and stayed in that school. I changed my ways the year after that.
Well, that's all I got for now.
The rest is like...I don't know; I was born around the same time (around 7-8 PM) as my big bro who is 6 years older than me. Nope, nothing more.
ShadowCat - April 9, 2007 09:30 AM (GMT)
I've driven a car even though I'm legally blind! (Dad: "Watch out for that tree!" Me: "What tree?")
Got a guide dog.
Used a bow and arrow. (You don't ever want to let me near a bow and arrow! I'm dangerous. Even though I think they're fun. :) I was surprisingly good at it for someone who can't see well. )

I was premie too. That's why I have the eye problems. I've been poked and prodded by doctors for 20 years and I'm sick of it! I also have to be careful that I don't hit my head, which stops me from doing a lot of things like sports. I think I'm really lucky considering what could have happened.
Oh, and my sister had blood clots not too long ago. She thought she had asthma for a few days, but one afternoon she collapsed. Her heart stopped (we didn't know that until she was in hospital) and we're sure the only thing that got it working again was when our aunt moved her onto her side. Our aunt had to stop Cindy from trying to get on top of her. I guess that must be what dogs do when that sort of thing happens. Mum and Dad took her straight to the hospital when she woke up and we were really lucky that this Scottish doctor was filling in for the doctor who was on holiday, because he'd seen a girl with blood clots before and knew the symptoms. All of the other doctors said that they would have just sent her home thinking she just had asthma. I now know that I should pay attention when my dog starts hanging around someone she usually ignores and sniffs them all the time. Though, like I said, we thought it was just asthma. I talked to the doctor afterwards, and I wish he'd stayed because he was an awesome doctor.
