17/3/08: I've updated the member validation requirements so that all new members have to be approved by me. Hopefully this will cut back on all the spam we've had lately. I'm also going to be away in Sydney from the 19th to the 23rd, so if things are a little glitchy or you're trying to join this forum (although I doubt that prospective members jump head first into news posts, ;) ) please just have patience.
For all other members, if you're reading this, why not take the time to re-familiarise yourself with the rules, and don't be afraid to suggest modifications.
Oh yeah, and I finally edited this topic title, given that it's no longer 2007. :P---
16/11/07 Hi again, guys. :) Once again, great job with the spam reporting! Now if only the spammers would be a little more considerate! ><
I have to point out that a few people seem to be forgetting about the banner size rule. If you think your banner is too big (if it's a full fanart or screencap, stretches the format of the forum, takes up more size than your posts (without images), or take ages to load, etc.) please downsize it. Ridiculously big sigs will be deleted by me, but it'd be great if you could keep on top of stuff like that yourselves.
Remember, it's always a good idea to be familiar with the forum
rules, which are there for a reason. ;)
It'd also be great if you'd encourage other members to keep up-to-date with this post, too. :)

3/10/07: Just a few things today. Firstly, sorry I haven't been around much lately. I've just had kidding season with my goats, and am preparing for the show season, as well. They keep me busy. :) Now, down to business.
If you've mistakenly posted a topic in the wrong section, and want it moved, or think a topic needs deleting or so on, and you PM me about it,
please include a link to the topic! This happens a lot, and when all you've given me is a topic title, or even just 'my topic in the art section,' it makes it really difficult for me to find it. There are a lot of threads on this forum.
The spam reporting has been great, and I really appreciate it. However, some of you tend to yell abuse in the report emails. I'd like to point out that the spammers don't see the report, I do. And I have this crazy aversion to being yelled at for stuff I didn't do. So it'd be great if you could not do that. ;)

07/07/07: New rule! Please make sure to follow it, and report anyone you see who doesn't. A lot of time went into making the graphics for this forum, and this forum only. Please do not abuse my hard work, instead, make your own.
The new rule is:

17/2/07Sarah Frost has been made a Moderator of the Fan Fiction section. This section has grown increasingly large and is more than I can handle by myself along with the rest of the forum. I don't think there will be any problems with this arrangement, but if you have a complaint, please contact me. While I will not take kindly to spiteful or ridiculous complaints, I will listen to any genuine problems and deal with them accordingly.

The header for the fanfic section is now compulsory.
Read more. Please spread the word on this, as I know not many members read the forum news posts.
Double-posting, netspeak, and one word posts are all still against the rules. Please,
please remember this. This forum is not a chat room. Likewise, if you're going to start a topic, or a poll, start it with more than one sentence.
Just like discussion threads, polls do not need to be created twice. Check that a poll has not been created already before you start one, please.
Do not create any more episode download threads. There are several already, and we do not need any more. They seem to keep popping up, and, just like any other topic, there shouldn't be 100 of them.
Please try to encourage other members to read forum news posts, because it makes my job a lot easier when people keep themselves clued in.
Let's make 2007 a bigger and better year, shall we?
