I know they used to battle each other, in their cool armor or without, but does Connor/Mortis know who Drakkus/Word really is and vice versa? We all know Connor knows Word, and in the RoD part two, Drakkus calls Mortis his old friend. Do they know each other's secret identities?

The way that they starred at each other in the RoD part 2, with that "Flat out hatred" look is the same connor and word give each other.

I think mortis and word kindda have a gauntlett thing like Artha does and Drakus and Abadonn are word and his dragon with the armour, and Mortis and T.Pax (You never see T.pax's un-armoured form) are connor and his dragon with the armour.
In the....um.......eppisode with the Muhorta, Word is riding a dragon that looks like Abadonn, just a little different. I think Word is Drakkus and his dragon is Abadonn.

I think they no each other, and they have quite a vecious history....

yeah i think they dont know it is each other. Like artha and moordryd. Artha knows moordryd and shadow booster but he does not know it is just moordryd in the armor. Same for moordry but vise versa. :plot:

And in retun of drakkus pt 2 like what salazaar said about mortis/connor and drakkus/ word are glaring at each other, i think it was just out of instinct. i mean if you don't like somone wouldn't you glare at them too? :plot:

It's unclear, but I don't think Connor knows Word is Drakkus, nor does Word know Connor is Mortis. For example, in "Broken Bonds" Word knew that Mortis was still around but was surprised to see Connor re-appear in "Paynn Rising". That says Word doesn't know the two are the same person.

Yeah, at first they don't know, but they do learn of each other's identity in "Battle for the Ages".

It aired last Saturday in the US. Not sure when it will re-run, but it will at some point.

Drakkus and Mortis definitely know each other. Mortis said they were both elite class racers and competed against each other. They are clearly severe rivals, but they don't seem to know each other's secret identity. Which begs the question: is elite class racing like Mexican wrestling where everyone wears costumes and masks? :unsure: :)

That could be a possibility if you think about it, although if they're elite class racers, you think their faces would be seen for that "I'm an elite class racer, remember my face, for I'm better than you" advertising thing......

Mortis/Connar doesn't know who is inside the drakkus armor but he knows drakkus. Its because ,maybe connar was wearing the disguise in there times like Artha and Morrdryd they know each other but they don't know who is inside the armors.

But how were they allowed to race in the elite class with their armor? Wouldn't that be a disadvantage to other racers? I'm guessing they didn't ride T-Pax or Abandonn, those dragons are too big for racing. :P

Maybe everyone wears armor at that level of racing. The races we see have gotten progressively more dangerous, so I would imagine they will continue to become even more dangerous as Artha and Moordryd continue to progress. Body armor may well be the norm at that point.

One would certainly think so! Neither of them would even fit on the race tracks we see. :) I think the fact that we don't routinely see giant dragons in the city means that they must be very rare.

they must have used diffrent dragons before. Plus moordryd and artha can't race in thier booster armor so what would they wear? Connor cot his suit from the dragon priests and Word most likely got the armor from somewhere outside of dragon city. And connor said that they raced together in the eliete class together 30 years ago, they are in their what mid 40s to their late 40s so how old were they when they got into the elite class?

I think they know each because during Broken Bonds Word says "I see my old Mortis has been busy." when he thought he got the anitdote but instead got Beau's favorite drink. It's also possible that both Connor and Word used different names during racing but knew their true identity.

I supose it is possible that they know each other from the academy and saw each others dragons as they got larger and developed into Elite class racers.

nah i don't think they know who each other is and i think there had already been a post like this but oh well
