Description: Which dragon goes with which?
Lea - December 10, 2006 09:14 PM (GMT)
I think Beau and Wyldfyer look together or you can just prove me wrong.

I'm proving you wrong by saying that Wyldfyr (omg spelling) is a... *dudum*... a BOY! No slashing dragons xD
Just because Kitt is a girl doesn't mean that her dragon also has to be one. And she actually called him a 'good boy' once or twice.
I_Am_Chute - December 10, 2006 10:49 PM (GMT)
she did call her a boy once but then the DB book & official website said Wylfyre was a girl and Kitt calls her girl other times
turkmen - December 10, 2006 11:16 PM (GMT)
Hmm I've never seen the scrapbook but I'm quite sure she never challed her dragon 'girl' in any episode. Perhaps you remember what eppie that was?
Liliwen - December 11, 2006 12:37 AM (GMT)
I picked Beau/Decepshun cause they're both uberly powerful. I think they'd go well together! ^_^
Kay Yasha - December 11, 2006 01:34 AM (GMT)
I'm pretty sure Phjori and Shock-ra are both male.
Kereea - December 11, 2006 01:58 AM (GMT)
Beau and Decepshun. I really like that pairing for some reason, namely because Decepshun probably wouldn't be as easily impressed by Beau's speshul-ness as other female dragons, so it makes her hard to get.
Airshadow - December 11, 2006 02:11 AM (GMT)
HEHEHEHE
People liked that my OOC Dragon, Silverwing with Decepshun. Altough Decepshun doesnt looks so convince.
Any pair for Eclypse?
Lea - December 11, 2006 02:14 AM (GMT)
Dun dun dun, Wyldfyr is genderless!
Sarah Frost - December 11, 2006 02:23 AM (GMT)
Why no slashing dragons?
Cyrano/Wyldfyr, assuming W's male. ^_^
Lea - December 11, 2006 02:24 AM (GMT)
I think Wyldfyr is a girl
The Furox - December 11, 2006 09:46 AM (GMT)
To my memory, Wyldfyr was called "boy" by Kitt in exactly one episode, and the Scrapbook and the trading card game both say Wyldfyr is a girl. So basically, take your pick. :) I'm going with girl for the time being and assuming that the writers slipped up in that one episode.
This is a somewhat difficult poll since we only know of one definitively female dragon: Decepshun. The writers seem to have almost gone out of their way to avoid using pronouns when referring to the dragons (except for Beau, of course), so even if you want to pick a same sex pairing, it's difficult to know if you're really making that choice or not. :)
Take Propheci for instance. We assume he's male because we hear him speaking with a male voice, but I don't recall if anyone ever referred to Propheci as "he" or not. And since that's just Reepyr's voice we hear, how do we know that Propheci isn't actually female?
By the way, given how the writers seem loathe to use pronouns for the dragons, did anyone else notice that they went out of their way to say Vysox was female? Why not just leave Vysox's gender unspecified like nearly all the other dragons in the show? It's like they didn't want to raise the issue of putting a bone mark of the opposite gender on a dragon. Would it cause any harm if you did? Or would you just end up with a somewhat confused dragon? :D
Anyway, it's pretty difficult to pick a pairing when no dragon has ever shown the slightest interest in any other dragon. And Beau and Decepshun showed zero reaction when Artha and Moordryd both learned the other's secret identity in "Battle for the Ages". You think that would have gotten some reaction out of them.
Maybe we should pair T. Pax and Abandonn. I have no idea what their genders are, but if you're a giant battle dragon, your dating options seem rather limited. :)
Lea - December 11, 2006 02:10 PM (GMT)
Same here, i'm going with Wyldfyr being a girl. Maybe all the dragons in the series... are genderless!! Dun dun duun...
Game Freak - December 11, 2006 06:06 PM (GMT)
I don't think so I believe coershun is a male because there is evidence for that.
Lea - December 11, 2006 07:16 PM (GMT)
Yah I know for sure Coershun is a boy.
Kereea - December 12, 2006 12:30 AM (GMT)
I noticed that there are a lot of Coershun/Decepshun votes. I always thought that 'cepsun would see him like Moordryd sees cain, as a cowardly best bud.
Lea - December 12, 2006 12:36 AM (GMT)
Now that you mentioned that *imagines Coersun and Desepshun together. All the sudden Coershun gets scared and runs. Desepshun is just sitting there with a sweat drop* XD
Salazaar - December 12, 2006 02:38 AM (GMT)
I'm torn between Beau/Wylfyr (I think Wyldfyr's a girl, & very pretty one at that ;) ) But I chose my male dragon character and one of the female dragon characaters, cuz I have a "Person" in my brain (I saw "Person, cuz she has some unhuman abilities, weapons, and features, but I won't tell you them now! ;) I'm going to put her in my fan-fic in the other forum, so if you want to here about her then go there. Her name is Avaliene, but she prefers Ava.) and her dragon is absolutely Drac, (Also in my fan-fic :D !!) and I always saw him and Wyldfyr as a cute couple. But still, Beau and Wyldfyr are the cutest couple ever!!
Lea - December 12, 2006 02:41 AM (GMT)
You could \'ve have voted for more than one X3
Salazaar - December 12, 2006 02:50 AM (GMT)
*giggling*
(Sorry, but when I picked add relpy, since my computer's slow, your Dragon in your signature was froze and was like, half blinking, and it looked brain dead!! It was SO funny!! ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! *Ahem* I'm sorry....... :D :D )

Oops...........he he! ^_^
(ps, what does X3 mean? I'm slow....)
Lea - December 12, 2006 02:56 AM (GMT)
X3 Looks at it side ways to the right.
Burnout Beau - December 13, 2006 01:06 PM (GMT)
I choose Beau/Decepschun 'cuz I'm a big fan of the pairing since I first joined the forum. In fact, as Moordryd might play a role as good guy in season 4 (he helped Artha in the last two eppies of season 3), maybe their dragons might get to know each other more closely.
Salazaar - December 13, 2006 02:07 PM (GMT)
Beau/Decepshun is pretty cute!
I put that in my fan-fic!
I'm still tyring to fit Wyldyr in the mix, or maby Wyldfyr will get jeaious.......
and Kick Decepshun's scaly hide, ha ha ha!!!!!
*Plotting W/B/D love trianlge, then battel...* :plot:
Lea - December 13, 2006 02:57 PM (GMT)
XD I would love to see that. Wyldfyr vs. Desepshun.
Salazaar - December 14, 2006 12:54 AM (GMT)
*Get's announcer voice*

Genderless? You mean like an amoeba? :)
Well, let's see: we've seen dragon eggs and eggs are laid by females by definition, which implies gender. Or did you mean to say that dragons are hermaphrodites? :) Hmm, maybe that's why Wyldfyr is referred to as both boy and girl! :P
Anyone ever read "The Left Hand of Darkness" by Ursula Le Guin? The story takes place on a planet where the sentient humanoids there are hermaphrodites, cycling between being male and female. It's considered a famous sci-fi novel, though I wasn't that impressed with it myself (not enough action and adventure for my tastes :)). The book mostly explores what the culture might be like when there is no division according to the sexes.

Would they battle? Maybe. Maybe not. Why not put all three together and make a nice trio. :) After all, where does it say that dragons are monogamous? :P In fact, in nature monogamy seems to be the exception rather than the rule.
Oh, and anyone who really likes the idea of a Beau/Wyldfyr relationship might want to read
I Need Love Too on fanfiction.net. The author appears to be rather young judging from the way it's written, but I thought it was a sweet story nonetheless.

I meant that they might fight over Beau.
I think Wyldfyr's gonna win though...
No offense to Decepshun though..... ;)
Liliwen - December 15, 2006 03:30 PM (GMT)
Just how exactly would Wyldfyr beat a pure black dragon? :P Beau can barely beat her....
And anyway, I still think Wyldfyr is a boy cause Kitt said very clearly in Framed, "Nice moves, boy!" And if Wyldfyr were a girl, she would've taken offense to that instead of grinning. ^_^
Lea - December 15, 2006 05:08 PM (GMT)
Black draconium isn't truelly black though if you ask me. They are all dark purple and give off dark purple mag blasts. In my opinion, they should be pure black or some shade of black instead of dark purple.
Furox... You lost me^^;

|
Shades of black, as in grey? :P That belongs to the grey dragons. And if the mag energy were black, it'd be pretty hard to make it glow. E.g. Moordryd's in a dark temple thing trying to get the black Vysox which glows black in the darkness. How would he find it? Pure black would look drac, but would look very evil as well, which Moordryd, evidently, is not. And would also make us think every single black dragon is very evil, in my opinion. Personally, I'm very glad they made the energy purple instead of black. :)

It would, wouldn't it. Black is basically the absence of light, so it's pretty hard to make black glow. :D I'm sure that's why they chose to make black mag energy have a purple glow, even though that kind of confuses things with the purple dragons. They kind of ran out of easily named basic colors, didn't they. Counting gold, there are 13 colors of draconium and there just aren't that many simple colors. Though I'm glad they didn't start using colors like puce and mauve. :) That would have been too weird.
| QUOTE |

Right, I don't think black dragons are meant to be seen as automatically evil. Coershun, for example, has never done anything I would consider evil in itself. And Decepshun hasn't either, though with the Vysox bonemark, she does seem to be more aggressive.
On the other hand, those pure black draconium dragons Word created in "Darkness Falls" seemed unusually aggressive. And those eight black dragons that Armeggaddon has were less than friendly, as is Abandonn. :P Does that make them evil? Hmmm.
Back to the pairing topic:
Who else thinks Propheci badly needs a girlfriend? :D He's so cranky all the time that I think he seriously needs some companionship. It couldn't hurt anyway. I think he and Decepshun/Vysox might get along well. ;)

That's because Beau stands there and tries to take her head on, and I don't mean in Draconium strenghth. Wyldfyr could win in doging Decepshuns mag blasts and bites, and slowly bringing her down with swift kicks to the head and little draining mag blasts and bursts of fire from the red thruster gear.

I can see his "Ga ga" face aleady!! ;)
That would be SO cute!!!
Prooheci needs a girl to spoil and protect in stead of planning to exterminate humans. The constant thoughts of war arn't good for his health!! :D ;)

That would be an interesting fight... ^_^
Lea - December 17, 2006 12:32 AM (GMT)
I guess but you could have like a dark grayish black with the black dominating.

True,...very true....
Although I'm a "Purple rules" kindda girl!
I love purple!!
I do think purple can fit though, and Furox is right, black is sort of the anti-light.
And it's hard to make it appear to be giving off light....
hmm.........
Lea - December 17, 2006 03:25 AM (GMT)
I guess but they could at least make the dragons black.

Though if he starts dating Decepshun/Vysox, those plans may only get worse. Vysox is most likely in league with Armeggaddon and his plans for a war. So Propheci might want to join in on that. But that's OK. Couples need to have common interests and hobbies. :)
Lea - December 17, 2006 04:16 PM (GMT)
Yah but Propheci with a girl. That would be a hilarious site to see XD
