It's a pretty good start, but you might want to double-check some things.

I don't think Kai would know Beau was the Black and Gold Dragon, because he never goes out like that, unless Artha transforms into the Dragon Booster. He's just a regular red and blue dragon during races and such.

Also, some of the sentences are fragmented and awkward, and the grammar and spelling is shaky. All you really need is a beta, or a spell-check program, and that little problem is taken care of right away!

And then, also, how could Artha march up to her if his leg is broken? You might want to watch for little goofs like that. They really sneak up on you! <3

Oh, and about your descriptions of Kai and Zoko in the first paragraph, mind if I give you a suggestion? Usually in the show if there's a new rider, crew, or whatever, Parm gives the information to Artha via their... weird... video... linky thingy. I'm sure someone here could give you a better name for it than that, but that's just what I know it as. So maybe you could insert that in there somewhere?

Other than that, this is really good. The plot is nice, but the writing needs to be cleaned up.

The story's rather...well...blah. Poke around a bit and the whole 'new crew' thing has been done a zillion times before, and a bit better.

'Ninja Dragon Crew'? Going along the lines of how crews are named in the show, I think they'd be called the Dragon Ninjas.

The names. They grate. On my skull. Kai's so overused in OC names it's becoming cliche. Mecia isn't exactly overused or cliche, I'll give you points. Katana should be misspelt in a weird way, as is the case with most DB names. No points for lifting it straight out of Japan. And Zoko?
