Title: Proffessor Stubborn
Description: Episode thirty-six

PyroWarriorZ - October 12, 2006 06:11 PM (GMT)
Yo I'm here with another summary thanks to South Africa's being ahead of time and this episode is huge. Major major plot revelation thats proves alot of theories, satisfiesbig fan dreams and shows big promises for the future

Let it begin! (Obviously anyone can tell this is a Parm episode and not just a Parm episode, but much more. READ ON!!!!!)

*******Begginning of Summary*************

We get a screenshot of a massive structure with the symbol of the Grip of the Dragon on it as the roof, the Penn crew are heading towards it. Parm in lead, his scanner can only read green draconium energy because there is so much. Apparently the structure holds some pages of the Magna Draconis as they were told by Connor. Hydrags hide in the shadow scaring Lance.

Parm finds a small green draconium crystal shaped like a finger with text on it, he reads it: One finger points the way. (Note: I already figured it out at this point what was coming, at least I hoped. See how good you are and how far along the summary you get before you figure it out.)

The Hydrags attack and they all run, Kitt saves Parmo with White Rappeling Gear. The others want to retreat but Parm wants to go on (Note: Parm is constantly called Proffessor and Stubborn through out this episode. I mean a lot!) Moordryd appears on a cliff watching and wants to stop them, Armeggaddon says they have been sent to get something VERY important but he will handle it.

They come to the structure and Parm finds a dent that fits the green crystal and places it, opening the door. Armeggaddon appears (Note: This is my first time seeing him and WOAH!!!!!!! He so cool, they really have a knack for weird armour designs. He wicked). He attacks, but they escape into the structure with Moordryd, only Armmeggadon is locked out.

As they travel through the outpost, they hear a terrible noise, they are surrounded by green energy and Lance dissappears. Parm still won't leave and Kitt thinks he is too stubborn. He then finds another green draconium crystal finger, it says: Only the strong shall survive. They find center of outpost, with big Grip of Dragon symbol on floor. Parm says it as if energy is all around them, then his scanner picks up life sign.

Moordryd appears and they attack, Decepshun attacks Parm and Kitt, Artha and Moordryd battle, Beau beats Decepshun and Kitt and Parm trap Moordryd with Green Trapping Gear. The noise appears again and the energy takes Moordryd. Parm finds a second energy crystal finger, it says: Even the smallest finger is needed to make a fist. He keeps it. (If you haven't figured it out yet, your a fool!)

The noise and energy reappear and take Kitt, Artha decides to only now transform into Dragon Booster (What a brother, he does jack when Lance taken but only goes into fit of rage when his girlfriend Kitt is taken!). Dragon Booster runs into the green energy, in dome he sees all sorts of energy beings float around, he tries to attack but they reflect his attacks. He is blasted out and than starts getting sucked back in. Parm decides to help and uses Green Ramming Gear to stop it, but fails. Dragon Booster is sucked in and the energy forces him to revert to Artha.

Parm screams at no-one for it to take him instead. Parm follows the energy signal, he sees it and tries to run into it but it dissappears. He finds it again at exist, tries to ram it again, but it does the same thing. This time however it has opened door and Armmeggadon appears. He starts blasting Parm with mag-claw, Parm uses brains to link up Light Green Deflection Gear and some other Green Gear. He uses it to absorb Armmeggadon's mag-claw and send it back at him. He is blasted outside and locked out again.

Parm finds another green energy draconium crystal finger, this one says: There is only a fingers difference between a wise man and a fool. Tries to get into energy again, but it continues to elude him. He then finds another green energy crstal shapped like the rest of fist and thumb part, it says: A closed fist hides many secrets. Parm is stumped ( I thought he was smart one), he then sees the Grip of Dragon symbol on floor and figures it out. He fits the pieces together on symbol and boom, back in center room the giant symbol of fist opens up and frees the others. They don't remember anything, just being taken by energy and ending up in holding cell.

Parm thinks this was not an attack, but a test.....for him. Moordryd runs away, despite Armeggaddons warnings to stop them from getting the powerful artifact. Suddenly a Dragon priest (Looks like others cept black stripe down helmet face and circular steps on top of helmet). He tells Parm of Green Draconium empire, how Dragon Booster and gives him the Green Draconium Power Booster Gauntlet (No jokes, i'm dead serious. Its true! Power Booster is coming! Note: The guantlet is only top half of gauntlet, it just built like that, no lower half. It has place for Green amulet and fits on Parms wrist) The priest explains he will some day find the green amulet and will be a good friend to the Dragon Booster as the Power Booster, Artha comments on how he will be like the Fire Booster they saw in painting. (I was begging for him to transform, but sorry guys. The priest gives one last saying: Those who hold only a fist are never able to shake hands.

The end!!!!!!!!!!

**********End of Summary****************

Yup I can't believe Parm is gonna be the Power Booster, I hope it dang soon. I wanna see him, I thought the crystal he put together would be amulet, but nope. This means Kitt will be Fire Booster also and Lance be the whatever blue Booster. Yay a whole team of Boosters, but whould of thought Parm would be first?!!?!?! Almost everyone thought Kitt was first.....especially with painting of Fire Booster.

Awesome epsiode, but had heart attack when it ended without showing Power Booster I scream and clutched on to T.V. I hope he finds amulet in next episode, he better I am not waiting a whole nother season or something. But

THE POWER BOOSTER IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!!

I so wish I lived in South Africa now! Great summary, and finally, an eppie that adds to the overall story line. Just wish he could find the amulet now...

dorsul - October 13, 2006 12:39 AM (GMT)
I wish i lived in my back home Africa i didn't know they would have show dragonbooster there too.

PyroWarriorZ - October 13, 2006 06:26 AM (GMT)
Yea it awesome, for once it pays off to be in South Africa. First time ever, were ahead and your not! :P South Africa getting all the glory.

Ok, I'm done ranting, just about time SA got some glory. But I will keep the summaries coming, check in next Thursday and I should have the new one up. Hopefully Parm will have found Amulet, maybe Phistus will have it, but it unlikely.

Just hope I can get out of University early and can catch next ep or there will be no summary.

Burnout Beau - October 13, 2006 10:32 AM (GMT)
Yep, that confirms my prediction; a Parm-dedicated episode.

And another Booster? Wow, that's...great, wasn't it?

Sarah Frost - October 13, 2006 12:01 PM (GMT)
Thanks for the summary. :)

I'm wondering why Phistus' group didn't find this before, and surprised that they're continuing to portray the priests as such an obviously manipulative cabal. And the idea of Parm being the one to get the next Booster infuriates me so much that I'm going to make a HP 'shipping analogy:

Harry Potter has two best friends, Ron and Hermione. Hermione's an obsessive and ruthless scholar; Ron's a courageous, average guy who's really good at chess. They bicker a lot, but are friends. Harry and Hermione share a quieter relationship, and Harry and Ron are best friends (at fourteen, Ron is what he'd miss the most). Harry plays the hero, Hermione assists him with her mental resources, and Ron provides him with emotional support. They're represented as a trio in the books.

A common argument against Harry/Hermione is that it would get rid of the Trio. Hermione-as-love-interest would negate Ron's "emotional support" role, and push him to the background. The books would become "Harry Potter and Hermione Granger and the..." (Some Harmonians disagree; others loathe Ron in any case.)

And this, I think, is what's going to happen with Parm if he gets the full powers. We already have both Lance and Kitt playing background-sidekick roles, neither of them with skills that Artha can't exceed. And now they're doubling Parm's role to encompass both brains and uber-powered backup.

On top of this, it's ridiculously unfair to Kitt. She's the character who's worked for her racing skills, and she's already been forced to give up her Academy standings for Artha (and was textually rebuked for daring to resent that!). She's been background decoration in too many episodes, and now they've just given another male character powers trumping her abilities. As much as she personally irritates me, making Parm Booster over her is yet another example of the DB misogyny.

And, of course, the problem of the overpowered heroes continues. I can imagine this as a scene now:

Artha et al: *quest after Ancient Artefact Of The Week*
Cain: They're over there, Moordryd!
Moordryd: *sparkly transformation into Shadow Booster*
Artha: Look, it's the Shadow Booster!
Parm: What? *comically trips over own feet*
Artha: *sparkly transformation behind convenient rock*
Shadow Booster: Now you will die, Dragon Booster!
Kitt and Lance: Oh no! *hide behind rock, as are too inferior to participate*
DB and SB: *fight*
Dragon Booster: *knocks Moordryd to the ground and continues blasting him, as per Eye of the Dragon*
Power Booster: *suddenly enters, trips over own dragon's feet, Shadow Booster uses distraction to get up*
Shadow Booster: Ha ha, Dragon Blunders!
DB and PB: *blast*
Shadow Booster: *on the ground again*
DB and PB: *blast again*
Shadow Booster: *collapses*
Artha: Victory is ours! Well done, Par--ah, Power!
Artha et al: *locate Ancient Artefact Of The Week*
Kitt: *makes Spunky Gurl Powah remark despite having had less relevance to the plot than the convienent rock*
Mortis: *congratulates*
*cut to*
Moordryd: *is in hospital bed with two legs and one arm in casts* Ouch.
Audience: *laughs because humilation is hilarious*
ALTERNATIVELY
DB and PB: *blast again to dangle Shadow Booster from the top of Ancient Structure, heart-patterned boxers flying in the breeze as his pants fall up*
Moordryd: Aargh.
Audience: *collapses in giggle fit*

And yeah, the whole Power Rangers thing does bother me. *sigh*

That is way I'm here....eer...wait...I have prac next week Thursday.....but Friday I can watch it and make a summary. (If everyone can survive my summaries)

What did catch me as strange is that both Moordryd and the Penn crew was all there, The DB, SB, now the PB and Kitt and Lance which we all believe will be the next boosters, All 5 of them there when Parm was tested strange. (Moordryd still clueless about the other boosters identities)

The Power ranger thing is also bugging me, please don't let it happen please. *on knees begging the writers*

So does Moordryd know what the artifact is? If so, he knows they have the green gauntlet. Maybe he'll try to steal it.

turkmen - October 15, 2006 09:48 PM (GMT)
I was wondering what would Armeggadon want to do with Parms gauntlet? To use it somehow, or just preventing a birth of a new enemy?
And does Moordryd see Armeggadons real body, I mean the armor we saw in 'Defiant'? Tha would be nice, it would somehow deepen their relationship, not just an evil talking amulet of doom but a real figure.

Armeggadon - October 16, 2006 12:13 AM (GMT)
But, but... I like the evil talking amulet of doom. It's so cool.

I think it's cowardice, but yeah, the idea is somewhat interesting. Really gets a chick nerd to rant about how pathetic it is her tough loyal-to-daddy bishie is listening to a Talking Amulet. :P

*jaw drops, goes all the way to the earth's core*

Parm? P-Parm gets to be the Power Booster? God, that sounds so much like Power Ranger crossed over with an energy bar, it makes me laugh and groan.

I'd love to have seen Lance get it, or ESPECIALLY Kitt get it, but...Parm? I saw him getting it last.

You know what, though? Go Parm for proving how persistent he is. I definitely saw himself with a moral along the lines of "believe in yourself, because if nobody else does, your own self-confidence can take you a long way".

Why else does he continue making attempts at gear? Why else does he continue being the dorky genius he is? Because he's persistent, and that's what gives him his success of the green booster-ness. ^^

...but oh my gawsh, POWER BOOSTER?!

Nako po, oy vey, chikushou ah, sacre bleu. :faint: XDD

PyroWarriorZ - October 16, 2006 09:06 AM (GMT)
Moordryd doesn't see the artifact he runs away before it is given to Parm.

I think Armeggaddon just wanted to prevent the birth of the enemy, and Moordryd doesn't actually see him face to face. I mean he is like in the same area but you don't actually see Moordryd seeing him so I'm not to sure, but I don't think so.

IbanezJFS - November 12, 2006 12:18 AM (GMT)
I gotta see what Parmon's Battle armor os going to look like. Parm was alsways my favorite charecter. And, now he's going to be the POWER BOOSTER. SOMEBODY BETTER ORDER MORE EPISODES.

SailorYue - November 12, 2006 01:01 AM (GMT)
since the gang saw armegadonn, are they going to describe him to connor?

also...its odd how they automatically assumed that moordryd knew armegadonn, tho its not too surprising.

since he symbol of the powerbooster is that of the Grip of the Dragon...i wonder if Phistus has the amulet? or any of the GotD memnbers?

Well, im not sure if they knew if that even was Armegadonn. And, im not sure if they are even aware of him.

SailorYue - November 12, 2006 09:12 AM (GMT)
well parm was the only one who got a full shot of him. the others only saw him from a distance. (btw the anxious look on Cryano's face when parms altered green gear canon thingy...quite funny.) parm probably after celebrating being dubbed the Power Booster, will describe Armegadon a little bit

IbanezJFS - December 10, 2006 11:15 PM (GMT)
It was really great seeing that Parm isnt as big of a wuss as people think he is. I wonder if he will get over his fear of hights when he gets his battle armor. Because, if he is the Green Power Booster. Then he's going to have to face his fears. But, as much as I love this episode. The 1 thing that I thought was verey cheesy was when the Dragon Priest "When you always make a fist. You can never shake Hands". I got what he was saying, it seemed appropriate, but it just sounded very tackey.

turkmen - December 14, 2006 03:14 AM (GMT)
You can see the episode HERE and HERE on youtibe , though the 3 part is missnig ;/
I also made some random screencaps from the first 10 minutes (random order and low quality) SCREENCAPS

Seeing it fine, too. Dang! Part 2 just ended for me... what a way to leave me hanging!

turkmen - December 14, 2006 11:53 PM (GMT)
Yeah, same fo me :<
I cantacted the person who uploaded this episode and it appears there have been some technical difficulties.
But I am so glad anyway that I saw those 2 parts ^____^

J`Rin Tekaar - December 14, 2006 11:57 PM (GMT)
Yep, if the CBC can`t deliver, this will do nicely until the DVDs reach this point!

Liliwen - December 15, 2006 02:33 AM (GMT)
yeah! Part 3 is uploaded! Now I can see what the gauntlet looks like!

J`Rin Tekaar - December 15, 2006 10:30 PM (GMT)
Yep, an all-around good episode. Sounds like that Dragon Priest was voiced by Scott McNeil.

The noise and energy reappear and take Kitt, Artha decides to only now transform into Dragon Booster (What a brother, he does jack when Lance taken but only goes into fit of rage when his girlfriend Kitt is taken!).

Kitt was the third to get taken. I guess Artha had had enough of Mysterious!engery taking his comrades. (Oh, and Moordryd.) And he was concerned about Lance when he disappeared and wanted to get him back and leave (not necessarily in that order though...) Also, maybe he didn't want to lose Parm next. I'm guessing self-preservation was in there too.
I didn't get to see the whole episode uninterrupted, unfortunetly, so I might've missed a few things, and I definitely missed a few sentences. :( Darn substitute-for-an-antenna wire...
I liked that last sentence about the closed fist thing. I'm a sucker for cheesy lines like that. :P

I_Am_Chute - March 6, 2007 09:32 PM (GMT)
The problem is now Parm and Kitt and maybe Lance are going to become Boosters but then they still won't do anything really important they'll just have shiny transform scenes.

Liliwen - March 8, 2007 01:33 AM (GMT)
I know what you mean. Right now I can picture them standing off to the side, cheering Artha on.

Which is why I'm hoping that the danger escalates in season four. I hope everything gets so tough, Parm, Kitt and Lance will actually be useful.

I_Am_Chute - March 8, 2007 02:04 AM (GMT)
I hope so, maybe now they'll all get REAL personalities!

Liliwen - March 11, 2007 09:49 PM (GMT)
Remember the green funny thing that took Lance, Moordryd, Kitt and Artha? At first, I was slightly annoyed because I had no idea what it was, saw no logical explanation, and it made a pretty funny/weird noise. But it was just the Dragon Priest doing a mag-escape on them, right? Cause I just saw the Defiants a few days ago, and when Drakkus mag-escaped, it looked exactly like it. Am I right, or...

dolphinliss - March 12, 2007 03:19 AM (GMT)
i guess it was that. mabye it was some secret dragon priest technique

The Hydrag - April 24, 2007 01:27 AM (GMT)
I dont think thayt it was exactly that because the mag escape that we saw wasnt in the form of a flat wall. More like a ball of energy. But it was definetly similar to it. Perhaps a slightly different style.

Dragon Fanatic - August 4, 2007 02:06 AM (GMT)
Did you see that thing Armeggaddonn did?! That was insane! He claims to be sooooo powerful, but he got beaten by Parmon! No offense to Armeggaddonn fans.

silverfang - August 27, 2007 07:46 PM (GMT)
tis is definately one of my favorite eppisodes because of that and because it's newest one that physically reveals a new booster.

did anyone else notice that a new booster becomes one once a season. i bet that Parm becomes the PB in one of the first epps of next season! :D

Dragon Fanatic - August 27, 2007 09:16 PM (GMT)
Don't forget. We still need Energy and Fire Booster. We're going to have more than one appear in of the seasons.

did anyone else notice that a new booster becomes one once a season.

As a matter of fact, according to Pakaday, who was an early forum member that works (or worked) at Nerd Corps, the initial plan for the show was a five season story arc with each season focused on one of the main colors of draconium. The first season, for example, was to be about gold, namely the re-appearance of the Gold Dragon of Legend and the Dragon Booster. Though I think this plan got a bit lost when the networks only signed on for 3 seasons instead of 5. It's not clear anymore, but I would guess that the second season was supposed to be focused on black draconium since we have the escape of Armeggaddon early on and his mentoring of Moordryd. And season 2 culminates with Moordryd getting the black gauntlet. As it turned out, season 3 is still mainly focused on black and only "Professor Stubborn" does much of anything with Parmon and green draconium. So I'd guess the initial plan was left behind by this point other than revealing one new booster in season 3.

I think it's easy to guess that red and blue will come in the next two seasons (if they get made). I'm going wager that red will come first since Kitt is more ready than Lance, assuming Lance is going to be "the chosen one" for the Energy Booster. I'm still keeping a side bet on Mortis and Khatah though just in case. :)

so if i'm hearing it correctly then we will probably actually see tghe Power Booster next season, right? ;)

The Furox - September 4, 2007 06:22 AM (GMT)
I don't know what order they have in mind, but since Parm already has the green gauntlet, then it stands to reason he's next to become a booster. It's also possible one of the other two remaining gauntlets could show up before then. We'll just have to hope for more episodes and wait and see.

IbanezJFS - September 4, 2007 07:08 AM (GMT)
This is deffinantly, one of my favorite episodes because
1. Parmon Sean is my favorite characters.
2.We see him be the hero instead of the wuss.
3. We find out the he himself is going to be a Booster
4. Even though he's now a new hero. He is still the plucky comic relief.

I love Parmon but, i'm not a big fan of his Dragon Cyrano. I dont know why but, I think if I see more of his personality. I might start to like him. Frankly I would like to see more of ALL the Dragons personalities.
