We are the most active Dragon Booster website there is out there. The rest are not so very active.

I don't know of any other active fan forums myself. There was a forum on the old tvtome.com site that got a posting every now and then. That's where I ran into LightningFlash and some of the other people here for the first time. There's a forum on the new tv.com site, but nothing's happening there.

As far as fan web sites go, I think I've got the only one. At least, nothing else shows up in any of the search engines.

There are undoubtedly other DB fans out there, but they haven't found their way here yet. I'm trying to get links to my fan site established from other places like wikipedia and others. A lot of people come to my site via the Dragon Booster entry in wikipedia.

Things may pick when the second season begins. The last new episode that aired here was June 4th, so it's been all re-runs for quite a while now.

Hopefully, that will change soon. Google finally crawled through my site last week. With luck, www.dragon-city.org should start showing up in the search results at some point. At least yahoo.com is listing my site now. I submitted to msn.com as well but they haven't crawled the site yet.

Crawlers are programs the search engines use to read the contents of the web and index it for later searches. Basically, they come around and read the entire contents of a web site, pick out the keywords and then rank it according to their policies. Then it gets added to the database so it gets listed during appropriate searches. The major search engines identify themselves when they visit a site and it shows up in the log files on the web server. That's how I know they've visited the dragon-city.org site.

I just added my link to the bottom. I'm not sure who wrote the entry, but judging by the content, it appears to have been posted by someone associated with the show since it reads like a writer's bible. In particular, it's got bits of details that one wouldn't really get just by watching the show.

If we can trust the contents, it tells us which dragons are male and female: Wyldfyr and Decepshun are female and the rest are male.

I hope that wasn't written by one of the show's writers. (Then again, judging from the general quality of the show's writing...) The style's terrible and there are several grammatical errors; it looks like it was written by a seven-year-old.

True, he was freaked out by the "teleporting Dragon Booster" and his "detachable hands" in "Three Times A Hero". "Shadows of the cute little things" doesn't seem to help me much, though. ^^; Only time I've seen newts was in the second episode and Cain didn't make a reaction to them. :huh:

"the Black and Gold dragon of Legend." Watch caps. This is something that happens a lot in the article--evidently the writer couldn't figure out which Words of mysterious Connotations would Look Best capitalised.

Smilies are great to use on messageboards or in conversations. They do NOT make something purporting to be an encyclopedia look any more professional. :angry:

"Artha is also a pretty nice guy" Yeah, RIGHT, and here we have another instance of writing that falls far short of encyclopedia-formality.

"16 year old Kitt Raada Wann is a racer gal through and through". Oh, a 'racer gal'. Cute. Really.

"Rumor has it that [Connor Penn] was the original Dragon Booster". Um, if he's forty-seven...then HOW? Time travel?

"Blue draconium class dragon" Aren't the classes more like Psi Class, Magma Class, etcetera?

"Moordryd Paynn's right hand man, along with his dragon, Coershun, who is also a Black draconium class dragon. " Soooo, Moordryd has two right-hand men, one of whom is a dragon?

"He is 17 years old so he is sort of smarter and can be rather loyal (if he used his brains right)." Thought loyalty and using one's brains were entirely unrelated issues, and in some cases in negative proportion to each other?

"At first, Spratt was kinda jealous of Lance..." Kinda? KINDA? *breaks something* Slang's all fine and dandy, but NOT in any piece of writing meant to approach formal work.

"Spratt is an okay kid and seems to intentionally and unintentionally be good at, well, breaking things." *sigh* Writer's still in primary school, right? Right? Or lower high school?

"He along with his dragon Hyve are pack leaders with the other crew members and they specialize in pack hunting skills and when this mighty crew works together as one, then you better watch out." Has someone misplaced their full stops? Here are a few ...... .

"Her dragon Phorrj is a Magma-class dragon with a HOT attitude." All caps? Oooh, that must mean REALLY REALLY hot.

"Phistus is very strong and tough, though he is actually a pretty good person." 'Strong and tough' does not at all negate 'good person', by implication or otherwise.

"The Keepers crew makes interesting things, such as powerful Deflection gear and Stewardd even improved the Dragon Booster's blocking staff." Missed comma after "gear".

"Vociferous loves to fool around by making people do embarrassing things and have his fun with his manipulation and deception, but he does have his pathetic points." So, making people do embarrassing things doesn't count as pathetic? Good to know.

"To ride Beau you must show great talent, good skills, nice manners, moral fiber, bravery and courage." Let us now consider Artha. Talent? Nah. We know Kitt's better, certainly the Crew-leaders would also be, and obviously also the Elite Class riders. Skills? Again, lots better. Nice manners? Don't make me laugh. Cocky brat. Moral fiber? "Hmm. I have absolute power. So, do I use this to make myself look cool, seriously focus on my goal, or take over the world?" Bravery and courage? It's easy to be brave if you've got the Dragon of Legend on your side.

"This dragon is a BAAD critter." Oooh, she's bad enough for ALL CAPS and misspelling. Gosh, that must be terrible.

"She is a Black Draconium class dragon and is paired with Moordryd Paynn-leader of the Dragon Eye Crew along with Cain and Coershun." So, Moordryd is the leader of Cain and Coershun as well as the Dragon Eyes?

"Fracshun is a blue-draconium class dragon and is very cute and his skills are teamwork and pure good loyalty to his rider." When one gives a long list of qualities--X is fast, skilled, intelligent, and proud--there is only one 'and' needed, at the end of the list. Also, what about "corrupt evil loyalty"? And what's the difference between "good" loyalty and just "loyalty", whom one is loyal to? And isn't the POINT about loyalty that it's a 'pure' devotion to one person or thing?

"He often speaks his words through Reepyr." So when doesn't he speak words through Reepyr? When he speaks words through another human's voice box?
