Title: Why Word's Not Drakkus
Description: My theories on why he's not Drakkus.
DemonicFury - September 15, 2006 01:08 AM (GMT)
Theory 1: In faster than fear a shadowy figure passes by Artha's visor. Who's to say that wasn't Drakkus and he just told Moordryd he was Armageddonn. I mean we've never seen Armageddonn.
Theory 2: If he was Drakkus [which he's not] why would he almost kill his own son when he was on the tower?
Feel free to post your own ideas. You had some good ones on my last post.

Well, let's see...
We know Drakkus has been around in present times since Connor said he raced against him when he was an elite class racer. (This was in "Return of Drakkus, part 2".) Armeggaddon told Moordryd he commanded an army of black dragons in the first war, which tends to peg the two as coming from different time periods.
I'm convinced Word views Moordryd as expandable. Like Mortis, Word got a vision of someone getting the Shadow Booster gauntlet from the tower and then left the scene. He clearly didn't want anyone to get it since they might then oppose him. He'd do anything to avoid having another enemy to deal with.
Drakkus was seen controlling two of Word's wraith dragons. That's a pretty big tip.
But probably the biggest tip off that Drakkus is Word is that Drakkus' dragon looks exactly like Word's dragon, but with different colors.

Yep.
Oh, plus, it's been confirmed in "The Defiant" that Word is indeed Drakkus.

Yeah, when Armeggadon said that Drakkus' weakness is his worry for his "son", which can only be Moordryd (who else?).
Penny Dreadful - September 15, 2006 02:52 PM (GMT)
It was always rather obvious, even before being confirmed. I mean, the dragon, the same body types, the same voice actor, a history with Connor, the same training as Connor, someone he knew from the Elite Class, come on.
dorsul - September 15, 2006 09:20 PM (GMT)
All these signs tell us that word is drakkus.
Armeggadon - September 15, 2006 09:24 PM (GMT)
But there's is always a .00001% chance he's not. ^_^

One thing i want to know is how did Drakkus apear from the place Moordryd and Cain where he was at is place when he said "time i should take matter into my own hands". And how long does it take him when he says let us finally see who you really are.
DemonicFury - September 19, 2006 12:39 AM (GMT)
So the show actually revealed he was Drakkus. Wow. I guess that's a really big hole in both of my theories. I didn't know because where I am they're only on the Changlings and they're only showing one new episode a week. I didn't think the same dragon meant that much. I'm an idiot. Well I tried.

ah everyone makes mistakes :D
PyroWarriorZ - October 29, 2006 09:31 PM (GMT)
Yea, that what a theory is, its just a guess. No harm in being wrong, nows its confirmed Word is 100% Drakkus since in "The Battle For The Ages" you see him pull out the Drakkus suit and the green coloured Abandonn.
Miss Mahina - October 30, 2006 05:37 AM (GMT)
Yeah. How does Abandonn change his color?
PyroWarriorZ - October 30, 2006 10:07 PM (GMT)
No clue, it just shows him already in green colour rising from ground from a hidden doorway.

maybe because he knew either moodryd will figure a way or maybe he thinks db will save him
PyroWarriorZ - October 31, 2006 11:21 PM (GMT)
Drakkus did state he wanted to make sure no one got up to tower. He seemed to be protecting it, he must not of wanted Moordryd to get the Shadow Gauntlet, maybe he knew it would be bad for Moordryd, not to mention a possible new Booster enemy. That is enough to at least try stop your own son at all costs.
The Furox - November 1, 2006 12:49 AM (GMT)
Yes, that's exactly what I think. Word is ruthless. He won't allow anyone to get in the way of his plans, even his own son.
Armeggadon - November 1, 2006 12:50 AM (GMT)
yeah. and words selfidhness makes him do it to
