Title: Some thing that I can't understand about dragons..

Atributes.

I was reading the oficial site of Dragon Booster and I just read some atributes and skills that I would like to understand the more...

Those atributes and skills are:

Deception, Psi Power, Communication, Intimidation, Will, intensity, Sprinting, Power, and Martial Arts

Could any one give me a hand to understand that?

Which part did you need help with? Was it just what do the words mean in this context?

I would guess that "psi power" is probably the most obscure. It refers to psychic ability or power. In this context, it probably refers to the ability to influence another in some way through psychic ability. However, in the show none of the dragons are ever shown to have any psychic abilities nor is any implied anywhere in the dialogue. Certainly, Word and the Prophets have mind control gear, but I wouldn't consider such gear to be a true psychic ability nor an attribute of a dragon. So I was always skeptical of that one being listed there.

Yep in context :D

And the other ones?

Right, these are your basic, probably wrong and in-a-nutshell non-confusing dictionary definitions.

Deception - Being very convincing and then it involves backstabbing. Dragons can be deceiving as well. (E.g. Vociferous gets Artha to "film a commercial" by being on the set with Beau, and instead blows up the place and steals Beau.)

Communication - How well they can communicate. (E.g. Beau and Artha talking to each other.)

Intimidation - Being scary. (E.g. Word and Abandonn, Word being tall and scary and Abandonn being big and..scary. :P)

Will - The determination to do something. (E.g. Wyldfyr still races even though she is tired.)

Intensity - Strength or force. Something like that. (E.g. The intensity of Cyrano's bashing making a carriage fall to the ground, or Decepshun digging her claws and trying furiously to pull off the Wraith gear from the Dragon Booster.)

Sprinting - Running really fast. (E.g. Wyldfyr sprinting off and going way ahead of the other racers.)

Power - Mag-energy, intensity, strength, most likely one of those. (E.g. The Dragon released their powers.)

Martial Arts - Ever heard of Kung-Fu? ;) (E.g. Word jumps and backflips, landing on his feet as he catches something.)

I can't picture Word being that nimble. Connor sure was, but he didn't have waist-long hair to worry about  .

I bet Word is too frugal to get a haircut and saves money by letting his hair grow too long, thus enabling him to buy his own corporation. It would be quite interesting to see what other things he does other than stand around in his computer room and sit on that bone-made throne.

Back to the original topic, I'm also curious about that "martial arts". A few other dragons other than Beau have them as well, like Fracshun, yet we never see him/her do any tail-kicking stunts that Beau does.

Okay, that example of Word doing the Kung-Fu thingy? HE ACTUALLY DID THAT IN "Broken Bonds". It just really freaked me out for a second.

Daigerus - September 3, 2005 09:15 PM (GMT)
How does one hunt down unpublicized episodes?

Kairos~Lokorr - September 4, 2005 12:37 AM (GMT)
The series runs three days of the week here in the US. it's bound to come on sometime so I might be able to record it. I've recorded all the one's I've seen so far.

But in Mexico isn't usual, I guess that is that the reason that delay so much to come here :(
