Naming my black cat Alucard just seemed fitting. :D That's not to say I didn't love Alucard in SON. Actually, I think I might be able to safely say it was the only Castlevania game I enjoyed. Old school platformers rock my world ^-^;;. My friends and I still act out the bad voice acting.

I'm quite certain the new VA didn't kill/incapacitate/offer a better job to the person they're replacing, and they're certainly not out to destroy the show and put themselves out of work, so what gives? And what if they happen to do a better job than the original VA?
