Title: All City race on DB site
Ryshah - August 18, 2005 01:32 PM (GMT)
I'm looking for someone to race me on the All City Race game on the Dragon Booster website via e-mail. any takers?
The Furox - August 19, 2005 05:10 PM (GMT)
I'll play. Though I'm not sure the game really works. I tried the play-by-email option using my own email addresses a few months ago just to see how it works and it never sent me any email. It seemed like it was busted.
We can try it and see if it's working or not. Send me an email or PM and we'll get started.

ok
do you know how can play two???
Daigerus - August 25, 2005 01:35 PM (GMT)
Um, not sure. I haven't tried it by e-mail, but I'll give a shot. Will let you know if it goes well or not.
The Furox - August 25, 2005 05:01 PM (GMT)
First, decide who goes first. The person going first then goes to the game section of the web site and hits the "Play a friend by email" button. You then enter both player's email addresses (so you'll need to get the other player's email address ahead of time). Then just follow the instructions. When you're done with your turn, the game will send an email to your opponent allowing them to take their turn. Then you'll get an email back when it's your turn again.
The game seems to work now. Ryshah and I just completed a game. Ryshah won!
Daigerus - August 26, 2005 01:46 AM (GMT)
Wow, that was rather quick. Okay, I'll get Ryshah's e-mail address then.
The Furox - August 26, 2005 03:50 AM (GMT)
It's a fairly quick game. You can play against the computer to try it out. Takes a little time to read all the instructions the first time through, but it goes fast after that.

Oops, I meant Airshadow, not Ryshah. ^^;

LOL :D
The Furox - August 31, 2005 04:39 PM (GMT)
Results of our match: Ryshah beat me 2 games to 1.
The "play by email" feature seems to be working reliably now. Anyone else up for a game?

Airshadow and I had a great run of games. I think we played upwards of a dozen games. Anybody else want to play?

Is All city race like DB TCG?

No, the DB TCG is a totally different type of game. The TCG has a lot more depth to it and many, many more options for play. You get to pick your dragon, gear and crew, plus a 60 card deck containing events and maneuvers of your choice for use during the game. Huge number of ways to put the cards together and a lot of strategy goes into building your deck. It's fun if you're into that sort of thing.

Any one whose like to race with me in the game in DB's official site?
