Title: A Question About Bone Marks.

Kay Yasha - July 15, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
I was wondering, if both Beau and Decepshun have a bonemark inside them, why was Decepshun affected by it so differently?

When Beau absorbed (?) the Furox he didn't show any signs of changing at all, right? Or was there something I missed?

When Decepshun absorbed the black bonemark (Forgot it's name) she got smarter. (Or at least got more disobedient.) Do we know why this is? Does it have something to do with the red/gold not working the same way black/black does?

Beau conqered the power of The Furox bonemark and absorbed it. No he didn't show any signs of changing, but he probably got some more mag-energy power in him or something. But i didn't show any show any physical/outer appearance because, well, he conqered it duh.

So, no. You didn't miss anything. :D

Well, Beau is the Black and Gold Dragon of Legend first, and Decepshun a normal Psi class dragon. When Decepshun somehow managed to absorb the Vysox, she acted differently, yes. She got the bonemark nub, and she also had the spirit of a 3000 year old Ancient Black Warrior Dragon inside of her. Which gave her the eerie red glow in her eyes, the new spiky look, new mag-power/energy, and gave her a mind her own. (more of it at least)

No no. Just as i said above, Decepshun now has a crazy evil dragon spirit in her, and Beau doesn't. He used to, for a short period of time, but like I said, he conqered it. Hope this helps. :)

Well in an episode Beau turned into Furox Beau to have Furox claws and climb out of a pit. And Beau already has a bonemark, his own. Decepshun doesn't.

I think you're talking about the episode Misjudged. Am i correct? Well, he did not have the furox claws, he transformed into 'Earth-Class' Beau. And part of that Earth-Class Beau was larger claws. For digging, climbing, etc.

Well yes. Beau had his own bonemark, inside him, before he chose Artha. When he did choose Artha, the bonemark came out, and became part of his physical apperance. Decepshun on the other hand, did not have a bonemark, period. She was just your typical Psi-Class dragon, until she absorbed the Vysox.

I'm not sure these the answers you want, just ask more specificly i guess. Happy to help. :)

Wait a sec! If Beau can absorb powerful bonemarks, why didin't the original Beau did that in the past? I mean, isn't that the best way to destroy a bonemark rather than keeping it somewhere and hope that no one finds it?

Well, it didn't look to me like Beau particularly enjoyed his experience with the bonemark of the Furox. :) It seemed to me that he only barely managed to overcome it because of his bond with Artha. It doesn't look like the kind of thing you'd want to risk doing routinely to a dragon, and therefore it probably wouldn't make a good bonemark disposal method.

I think if you asked Beau if he wanted to absorb another bonemark, I'm pretty sure he'd say no. :)

I'm not sure what the case is with Decepshun and Vysox since I haven't seen that episode yet. That one is "Eye of Dragon," right? If so, it airs here next week.
