here is a seek peek of my first fan fic
soul wars, the fousion
Chapter one: The beginning
On a cold winters night all was silent as the Dragon City rescue team tries to free the dragon racers from the collapsed track. Out of the ten racers only nine made it alive and among the racers was Zulay Pynn. Immediately after her body was recovered from the rubble her soul shot out of her body started to head to Moordryd’s room. As she entered the dark room the small ball of light (her soul) took the form of her self before her death. With a small sigh she entered the small four year old raven haired boy. Over the hours of the night the small boy’s hair starts to change color from that of raven’s feathers to a snow white color. Fog begins to roll out from his mouth curls at the ends of his snow white hair. And at the same time others were affected by other souls also and obtained the same fait as he. The next five years Moordryd started to notice he had strange powers and his father began to sense his son’s strange gifts. At the age of ten he fell off Abandonn’s head fell through his back and combines with the dragon as one. “Daddy what is happening to me!” Moordryd cries out as his father walks through the door to the dragon stables.
“Abandonn is that you talking!?” Word shouted as if something had burned him.
“No it’s me daddy” Moordryd replies starting to sob loudly.
“No you can’t be my son!” Word snaps back at what he thinks is his dragon, abandon, in that stable.
“But it is me daddy, it’s me Moordryd I am in the dragon!” Moordryd cries trying to tell his father it is him.

an interesting point o f view, MOODryd crying ??? WOW I never tought that it would happen
Ninja Dragon - June 5, 2006 03:08 AM (GMT)
thank you and the reason for him crying is if you were 10 and you fell off a giant dragon's head in to his back and fused with him I would have been upset too =D

Chapter one
10:00am
It was any other day in dragon city, Artha was practicing with Kitt, Lance was cleaning the dragon stalls and complained the whole time, and Parmon was in the shed tinkering on some gear that Artha mangled on his last race when Conner walked in the stall he hade a worried look on his face. “Where is Artha?”
Lance eager for an excuse to stop cleaning exited the stall and walked to his father. “He is on the track with Kitt,” he called out.
Conner turned away and activated on his com link. He spoke athoritivly as soon as Arthas face appeared, “Artha come home now this is an emergency."
“Why what is going on?” Artha asked not knowing why his father was so mad
Conner Replied to his son “I will tell you when you get hear.” then he went offline.
Kitt looked at Artha, and said “Wow he sounds in a hurry!”
Artha turned to her “Yeah I wonder what’s up? Come on boy lets go” he said to Beau so they turn around and head back to Penn stables.
When they got back Parmon and Lance were standing there and Conner was pacing the floor Artha “What’s going on what is the big emergency?”
Conner looked at his son and was relived to see him but he still was tense said to him “Come on it’s not safe to talk here.” He said putting his hand on Arthas shoulder and looking around making sure that there was nobody else there and then headed to beau stall and hit the switch that opened the door to the temple And they all went down then he start’s to explain to them “I got word that someone is heading to the old temple of Lezmark, there is an ancient mask of Zorgon it has all the draconium colors.”
He said waving his arm and the vide screen came down showing a picture of the mask
“I think it must be Word Paynn.”
“All the colors?” Everyone said at the same time, the dragon’s hade surprised looked on there face as well,
“Even gold?” Artha asked not knowing that there was something that powerful existed and that hade gold draconium since you don’t see gold gear around very often ,
“Yes, it is very powerful they made it to train the dragons and since it hade all the colures every type of dragon would listen to what there master’s hade to say and it worked very well. Then when the dragon human war came someone took it and used it to make an army for the war ,sad to say that even the loyalist dragon’s turned from there owners. After the war hade ended the first Dragon Booster retrieved it and put it in the care of a crew all I know about them is that there draconium colors is Dark purple and they have been grading it ever since .” Conner explained to them.
“So then why do you need me?” Artha asked his father
“Well I am afraid that they may be gone and Word found out bout it and now he’s trying to get it. With this mask it would make things very easy for word to start a dragon human war or even get the dragon of legend.”
Conner said turning to beau who Beau snarled at the thought of word Paynn controlling him and would use him to start a new dragon human war. “So I want you guy’s to go to the temple and see if I am right and to stop them. Here is the location, go through the back entrance.”
He said pressing a button on the map. And it lit up and then he passed to Artha who looked at the map then to the others. “Were on it.” Everyone said together.
Earlier that Morning7:00 am
“Mooredryd come to my citadel at once.” Mooredryd turned off his com link and turned to his partner in crime. “Let’s go Cain my father has a job for us.”
He said turning his dragon in the direction of the citadel and left .
When they got there Mooredryd went in side and found his father in his office (I’m not sure what you want to call that room that he is in all the time.) he found him Sitting on his dragon bone chair, tapping his fingers on the table .“Mooredryd do you remember the temple of Lezmark?” He says leaning in to the back of his chair and put his fingers together “It was the temple where the mask of Zorgon is held.”
“That is right I want you to go and get it and bring it to me and I don’t want you to leave with out it.”
“Don’t worry father I’ll get it.”
He says starting to turning around and he started to leave when his father stopped him for one more instruction “And one more thing Mooredryd, don’t leave any witnesses.”
“I know father.” He say turning and heading to the door and he muttered to him self.
“Don’t worry.”

Chapter 01: Clash of Gold
The fans roared at the race stadiums, video screens assaulted people’s eyes with their neon brightness, and overall status of mid-city? Busy as usual. There was one, however, one thing that disturbed all levels of Dragon City.
Apparently there was a wild dragon spotted and it's still on the loose. Its intentions are unknown but still, any wild dragon is considered dangerous. First this dragon was spotted in Sun City, then Shadow Town, now it’s thought to be in Mid-City, though with seven different levels to this metropolis there is no possible way to accurately predict where it is. That made the citizens on edge and Dragon City Security on their toes, or claws.
Far down on the water worn streets of Old City, the foundation of Dragon City; a rider and her dragon walked across narrow, fragile bridges and cliff sides. The dragon itself was quite large and while it tried to stick to shadows, it wasn’t hard to spot. Its body was of pure white, silvery markings that took on a metallic appearance and two black jagged stripes over the dragon’s eyes. Long, tall ears standing vertical twisted and turned at every sound. A frill stretched out around either side of the dragons jaw, framing its long narrow face.
For a moment one would think this was a sky-class dragon, its colouration making the dragon seem wise, gentle, which is true, however the eyes of the dragon scared many. Mainly because a crimson iris framed the usual small sliver of a pupil, which was currently dilated from the darkness.
It was difficult to travel in these parts, thankfully they found the main path; it was just a matter of remembering where to turn off.
“I hope we haven’t gone too far…” the rider who owned a soft, cool female voice was in foreign attire and her face adorned an odd skull mask. From the exaggerated cheek bones of the mask came two metal horns that curled back, while on the top of the skull stretched out a long white plate, adorned with gold designs.
“It’s been a long time since my last visit here; I hope you remember where it is.” The dragon began to walk off the trail.
There were voices just ahead.
“To think there are any wild dragons roaming the higher parts of Dragon City just stuns me,” seventeen year old Parmon Sean watched the shadows intently, flinching at every sound, “and it could even be down here.”
“You’re so paranoid, I doubt a wild dragon would even think to come down here. I mean, it’s dangerous enough for a rider and a dragon, but a solitary one?” Kitt sounded dubious.
“Mortis said the wild dragons are likely to be more aggressive, so we should really be careful.”
Small pebbles stopped them out of surprise. The start line of the little rocks tumble seemed to come from old machinery to their left that had many stones in a variety of sizes piled atop it. A shadow swiftly passed along their sides, the dragons did not see whatever this was, it moved too quick, but they sensed something and began to shift uneasily. This darkness could hide anything.
Not a moment later a cold breeze followed and slapped the group of four with frigid fear. While there were many monsters down here, the first thing on their minds was the wild dragon. Turning around with a warning growl, Fracshun found himself snarling in the face of a bone mark dragon larger than him. The first odd thing was there was a rider on this dragon, the second odd thing being the fact the rider was wearing a bone mask.
“It’s just like the Bone Zombie!” Lanced cried out.
The bone dragon took a step towards the group, giving them all a good look at its sharp teeth lined up nicely and a demo as to how loud it really could roar.
“The Bone Zombie? That’s ridiculous!” Kitt replied, having to yell over the bellowing dragon preparing to attack.
“Release the dragon!” The area glowed a brilliant gold as Artha Penn turned into the warrior the Dragon of Legend had chosen. The bone dragon took a step back, almost hesitant, now facing the black and gold dragon itself.
‘This isn’t working,’ the rider thought to herself.
The bone dragon snarled and took a swipe at Beau narrowly missing him. Though this created a larger gap between them.
“Back off children, this is not a place to play games. Don’t you know? There are monsters down here.” The rider scoffed.
Artha simply activated his mag-staff.
“What’s this? A challenge?” The woman stood to her full height which was a good five foot nine. The bone dragon mag’d her off the metallic saddle sitting upon its head. Artha found himself a good fifteen feet from the ground, Beau’s mag stream casting an eerie light across his opponent. The bone dragon’s stream was pure white, an odd colouration for a bone dragon.
Things weren’t making sense, “Who are you?” Artha demanded in a level-tone voice.
“Ah, your more interested in introductions? I can see it, you have a hidden anger, and you want to fight… Maybe if I’m defeated I will give my name to you. But the chances of that happening are slim to none.”
“Well, you certainly have no confidence problems.” Artha thrust forward, winding up for the first strike. At this distance she could easily avoid the attack, however she hadn’t even moved yet. Not even in a defensive position. This worried him. He couldn’t read his enemy.
Five feet closing fast and the woman made her move. Ducking down she narrowly avoided Artha’s first swing though he was already preparing to smash his boot into her.
“You’re quick,” her mag staff collided with his boot, “though keep an eye on your surroundings.”
“Wha?” Artha didn’t quite understand. There was nothing to keep an eye on but her, the place was almost pitch black! It wasn’t until she used him as a launch pad and used her body to cut through Beau’s mag stream he realised what she meant.
That is all I have so far, ‘course this is only a quarter of chapter one but heck, I finally started it.
Good place to end it for now :D

I dunno guess its the way you look at it. The way I see it, a preview is not the entire chapter. As I said thats only about a quarter of my chapter, a good trailer really gets someone into a story ^_^
oh well
SilverDragon - June 25, 2006 03:06 AM (GMT)
This is part of the first chapter of the story I've been advertising in my signature for the past few weeks.
Chapter 1: Flying without wings dinnae work
Silvyr sat in a grassy field, watching the birds, and completely bored out of his mind.
He’d finished his tasks for the day a little over an hour ago, and thus had nothing to really do, except become really, really bored.
There was a resounding thud as a large white dragon hurled itself off a hill and hit the ground. Hard.
Silvyr turned around to face the dragon.
‘Tyfoon, ye daftie, doon’t ye realise by noo tha’ ye cannae fly?’ Silvyr said.
Tyfoon gave a look that seemed to say ‘You lie, filthy mortal’ and ran back to the hill and attempted to fly again.
Silvyr sighed.
Tyfoon was a unique dragon. Not unique in colour or powers (he was much like all the other white dragons in the world) but for the fact that his dearest wish was to fly like the eagle-drags that soared overhead.
It was strange, even though he was a white dragon. Most other white dragons were simply content with running really fast and jumping as high as they could.
Not Tyfoon.
As a young dragon, growing up in the Ulstyr mountains, he had spent days simply staring up at the sky watching birds and other flying creatures. Somewhere along the line he had taken it into his head that he could fly if he really tried to. So thus he started to jump off steep hills.
The other dragons regarded him as completely nuts and generally steered well clear of the ‘crazy white fool’ as they called him. Not that Tyfoon really cared about what they had to say. As a result, none of the other dragons liked him, and for that matter, most of the humans as well.
Except for Silvyr MkNamera. Fifteen, ginger-haired, and slightly taller than average, he’d been friends with Tyfoon since their first meeting. The two shared the same frame of mind, except, of course, when it came to attempting to fly. Even though he knew Tyfoon would never be able to soar, he didn’t really try to talk his big friend out of it. You need something to aim for, even if it is impossible. Plus, Tyfoon never believed him, anyway.

'Tis all I have written at the moment.

Now that, *laughs* looks good. I can't WAIT until it's done!!!
I'm writing a FanFic, but, sadly, when my computer crashed, I lost the outline. I, luckily, have all of what I've written saved to a Disc, but not the outline, and i have a bad habit of writing bits and pieces ((I have the climax done, and four or five various scenes done)), so I need to try and re-do the outline before I can finish my fic. <_< Curse you crashing computer, CURSE YOUUUUU!!

Burnout Beau - September 29, 2006 03:34 PM (GMT)
Here's a sample of a fanfic that I'm planning to write. It's mainly a spoof of the reality game show "The Amazing Race". (Note that the script maybe subject to change, but the storyline will remain the same... ):
The Amazing Dragon Race (sample)
Artha realised that Beau wasn't looking too well. He bent down and asked his dragon, "Beau? You okay?"
His dragon simply replied with a grunt and a nod despite the sick look on his face.
Kitt came up beside her partner and examined Beau. "He doesn't look good. Must've been those candy bars that he stuffed himself with. Come to think about it, he stuffed himself just for a gold piece of paper."
"So we can finish this race," Artha continued.
Wyldfyr came up to the red-and-blue dragon and said, :You don't look so good. You sure you're okay?:
Beau grumbled, :Okay? Of course I'm not okay! Try stuffing yourself with ten thousand candy bars!:
Suddenly, a loud grumbling was heard coming from within Beau. Wyldfyr gave him a weird look and asked, :Got gas?:
:Not only that, it's building. And I'm not sure how long I can hold it,: Beau squeaked with a funny look on his face.
Even the humans heard the grumbling. Kitt eyed Beau curiously, "Looks like your dragon has a flatulence issue, I guess."
Artha petted his dragon head and replied comfortingly, "Just hold on there, Beau. We're almost there."
As they were approaching the city entrance, they heard rumbling behind them. Artha turned back and saw Moordryd and Cain catching up fast.
"Scales, Moordryd and Cain's coming! We have to speed up. Come on, Beau! Faster!" Artha urged Beau to run, much to his dismay.
This is not going to be nice for me, Beau muttered to himself and started to run as fast as he can, despite the discomfort in his stomach.
Both Beau and Wyldfyr accelerated and sped past the Dragon City entrance sign, with the Dragon Eyes hot on their trail. Beau forced himself to run faster. His actions were taking a toll on his uncomfortable stomach. He was even making funny noises and panting hardly as the pressure in his belly started reaching unbearable level.
:Can't...hold on...any...longer....Gotta...: Beau whimpered.
Both Cain and Moordryd started closing in on their rivals, but time is running out for them.
"They're reaching the finish line. Do something, Moordryd," Cain yelled out to his crew leader.
Moordryd snickered in response and pulled out his energy-draining whip. "Don't worry. They won't be expecting this." Moordryd extended his whip and launched it at Beau in an attempt to drain his energy and take him and Artha down together. But things did not go according plan somehow.
As Beau was moving faster than the whip, the grapple at the edge of the whip instead ended up catching Beau's tail. The moment the grapple caught Beau's tail, Moordryd pulled his whip back, which was a very, very bad idea at that time.
When Beau felt his tail being pulled back, the muscle in his hindquarters (and stomach) were yanked with great force. Beau eyes shot wide open. :Oh, n-:
FFFAAAAAARRRRTTTTTT!!!!!!
:D
Well, uhm, whatcha think? :poof:

So many good FF.

A New Power
Chapter one:
- SILENS!! <Yell a corpulent young man meanwhile he struck the table> we aren’t reaching anything if we are speaking all at the same time!
- All we are worried Phistus <refuted a bothered Pyrrah> Riders and his dragons from each crew had been dissapeiring in the last weeks.
- I know Pyrrah, my crew also sufered that dissapeirings but we don’t know anything about the ones who made this and we don’t have any clue. That’s why this is a propitious moment to cooperate between us.
- To cooperate you say? < Interrupted Moordryd > don’t make me laugh.
- Don’t make you laugh? What I know, your crew is the only one that has not suffered of these strange disappearances and for some reason your crew is always involved in strange events. <Refute Phistus>
- Are you insinuating that I have something to do with this?
Pyrrah interrupted both young men arguing that they have to do something to reveal the kidnappers. They began to obtain some deductions; some blamed to Word and in passing to Moordryd, others on the other hand, remembered the legend of the dangeurous orange dragons.
Some months ago the disappearances began to increase drastically and curiously it disappeared as much the dragons as their riders, it seemed not to have a favorite type of victim. Phistus wanted the attention of all; he considered this an opportunity to propose them to join with the Dragon Booster to stop the increase of kidnappings.
- You really think that to join with him we will be able to improve the situation? If I’m not wrong, the Dragon Booster doesn’t have been avoiding the disappearances. <Said Moordryd>
- We must be joined, thus our efforts to protect ours will be not dispersed. <Phistus raised his voice >
- What ever, my crew dosen’t need neither the help of a fool like the Dragon Booster nor either of a pathetic group of scared riders. <Exclaimed Moordryd with arrogance>
- What did you say? < Said a furious Phistus >
- We, The Dragon Eyes, we take care of ourselves and we don’t need anybody. < And said this, Moordryd and his companion, Cain and Swayy, retired from the center>
Moordryd still has in his mind what Phistus said to him, he couldn’t deny that his own crew was always involved in events that his father, Word Paynn, make them to do. For a moment he remembered all the things that his father had demanded to him to do and he felt resentment. But this time his father didn’t have anything to do with this, although he could not be so sure. His father already had acted behinds his back, like when he aired Vociferous to capture Beau; this time could be the same thing.
Meanwhile the Penn’s crew met with Mortis in the Temple of the Dragon, something important he had to say to Artha.
- Within a week, there will be a new competition Artha, known as The Nacre Track. <Mortis said with the same solemnity that characterizes him> This competition it will be in the Mountain of Jabar, twentyfive miles from Dragon City. This competition is very special and happens not very often, since it depends on how much has snowed in the zone. There have been years in which it hasn’t been possible to make it and the competitors can only hope to have more luck the next year.
- And this year the conditions are perfect. I was waiting two years to return to this competition <said Kitt very excited>
- <The Dragon priest agreed and continuous > You will have to use the Sledding Gear and the Heat Armor Gear. In addition you will have to buy clothes adapted for that climate and you have to use this helmet <he said to him while it gives a helmet to him with a design very similar to which Artha already had, but it covered all his face>
- I used the Sledding Gear once, but the Heat Armor Gear, what do that gear?
-WHAT, you don’t know what is it? <Exclaim Parmon with surprise> You surprises me Artha, you must know, you are a dragon rider.
- Well, I don’t know, Ok? I have never use it before.
- You have to be informated <said Kitt> that gear exists from long ago. Although all the dragons have a very heavy skin, in very cold climates, like the Mountain of Jabar, they lose heat very quickly and the Heat Armor Gear allows your dragon to maintain his temperature.
- The competition will be within four days, you will have to prepare everything and to go the day previous of the competition <said the enigmatic dragon priest>
- Wait... What will happen if I go and the city needs the Dragon Booster!
- It will be only two days or at last three days, I don’t believe that during that time the Dragon Booster will be needed. <Said Parmon>
-I think that too. It is an important competition Artha, that you can’t miss; it will help you as training and it will give you a great amount of points that will help you to get to the next level. <Said Mortis>
He continued talking with the four, but this time was on the same subject that worried to the Council of Twelve. The number of stolen dragons had increased considerably and, in addition, their owners also disappeared with them. They were deliberating on the possible actors, it were the sufficient reasons to blame to Word, it was already known that he was turning dragons into wraith and that he was trying to turn humans into wraith too, and on the other hand, it could be Propheci; with his attempt to control humans. Even so, Mortis seemed to have another suspicion but he didn’t dare to pronounce it, hoped that it was just his idea.

I know this chapter dosen't say to much and it dosen't have action, but I'm trying to traduce the next one. And I'm working in the 3 chapter that it will have action.^^

Here's my movie trailer thing for my story: Secret of the Shadow Track! Yes I've started this one, but I realized its gonna be very long and at the rate I'm going, I'll have it half way done in a year or two. :P Trailer for the entire story, movie style!
(Drac music plays. Picture appears from a black background.)
Artha races on Beau and causes Moordryd and Decpshun to crash so he can take the lead.
(Screen fades to black) Then we see him cross the finish line and put his hands into the air. Crowd roars in applause. Moordryd glares menacingly. (Screen fades to black again.)
(We see Word's citadel. Moordryd approaches Word's desk and looks at some papers containing information about the Shadow Track. Word comes up behind. Screen fades to black, again.)
Word: Lure the Dragon Booster into the track.
Moordryd: Won't he get out?
Word: Not this time... (Moordryd starts to leave.) Oh, Moordryd. Do not fail me. (Screen fades to black.)
(In Shadow Track, the black shadow draconium creeps up the Dragon Booster and captures him. We see Moordryd laughing.)
Armaggeddon: It has begun.
(We now see Dragon City as the music increases in pace and becomes even dracer. Various people and dragons are screaming as they change into wraiths. In Word's citadel, Moordryd is confronting his father.)
Moordryd: *yells* What are you doing?
Word: What has to be done.
(Dragon City is in an uproar. We see Phistus recover from his wraith state when gear is blown off of his dragon. We see Kitt racing through the streets. We then see Word standing over a bloodied Connor. Word smiles. We see quick flashes of Parm and Lance outside the Shadow Track, looking very worried. Back in Dragon City, we hear Moordryd scream.)
Connor: *yells* Word, what have you done? (Word looks ashamed.) Why did you let him die? (Word falls to his knees, weeping.)
(There is plenty of violence in Dragon City as wraiths attack the nonwraiths, forcing gear on them. We see a group of people trying to save each other from the wraiths. Wraith dragons bare their teeth at them. Parm yells as the gear turns both Cyrano and him into wraiths. Lance screams. Screen goes black.)
(We see Artha and Beau in the Shadow Track. Artha screams and they break free. They run out of the track.)
Artha: *looks around* Where are we?
(We see wraith dragons chase Artha and Beau.)
Strange girl you haven't met yet: The world has changed, it is in constant war. It has been this way since I can remember. How can you not know this? (We see Artha look down at the ground.)
(We see huge armies attacking each other.)
Strange girl: Paynn rules the world with his wraith dragon army. Propheci attacks daily now. The last free people, the ones who believe in the 'Dragon Booster', they are almost destroyed.
Artha: You don't believe in the Dragon Booster?
Strange girl: He was a myth. Everyone knows that. Save for that delusional group. (Artha looks surprised.)
Strange girl: You believe he once existed?
Artha: I believe he still exists.
(Drac music starts up again as we see the Prophets attack wraiths. We see various members of the free people prepare to fight. We see Libris run among the wraiths, crushing them. We now see a huge army of black dragons, weilding huge Dragon Eye banners.)
Strange girl: The second Black Draconium Empire is the only chance we humans have. (We see the Shadow Booster lead them with fiery, red eyes.) Though that life will not be much better than it is now. (The Second Black Draconium Empire flourishes their weapons.)
(We see huge armies race towards each other in battle. We see older Lance yell to motivate his people. The armies come closer, ready to kill. Suddenly, the Dragon Booster returns, and stands atop a huge hill overlooking the two armies. Beau roars, bringing the charge to a standstill.)
Older Lance: It can't be....

I've been giving this a bit of thought. Which fic? What scene?
So I decided on a future scene in the Star fic that is linked to in my sig.
Disclaimer: not mine
Timeline: Sometime in the second arc--part 20ish maybe? (at a guess)
Warnings: OC, halfassed, no stablebrats.
*-*-*-*
Gear had led them here, down below the Veiled Mountains. The mountains had been an anchinet outpost of the White Draconium Empire, such things were not beyond Moordryd, he lived in Down City after all, foraged for things in Old City, had Gear (or Gear had him...) and of course, a talking amulet. He wore said amulet outside of his cloathing because Armaggedon was eager to see this place and Moordryd did not blame him.
Moordryd may live ontop of anchinet ruins that lit up with guttering light in the pressance of the living--but they didn't work. More than five thousand years old and this reseach faculty was still working, the lights spared from being blinding white by a faint yellow tint.
Gear was looking for something at the very bottom, they would probably have to dig through the walls to get to it--a specific sort link to the orginal golden network so it could download information. Once she, because the Gear's voice now that it was intergrated enough to make sounds, reminded him of a woman, had the information they would cross the Veiled Bay on the other side of the mountains.
Moordryd was looking for a bonemark, Hergath would agree to the summons if he found the last one remaining in this anchinet maze. He was the first living human to set foot on the mountains in more than three centuries, he was the first human to be in here in...more than five thousand years. The realization coming home that this place predated the great Dragon-Human war was aweinspiring and he breathed in deeply.
"You are right to overwhelmed by this place. It was here that the White Draconium Empire made many of their greatest weapons. That is the reason for the extensive mist veil that covers the area, not even the greatest sensors of the other empires could ever peirce it."
"I think everyone in Dragon City pretty much thinks it's natural. And you said weapons?" His thruster gear broke while he was still in Old City fleeing a giant snake like Hydrag, something that would put it, and anything else like it, into pain would be welcome in making this journey easier.
"Perhaps not as you think of it, my apprentice," Armageddon's eyes were like embers in his head, relaxed, muted glow that almost seemed warm. "The White Draconium Empire excelled in genetic reseach. Many of the empires altered dragons to not only fight for them, but to destroy their will so they would fight against their fellow dragons. The best of the empires only did so to vollenteers, like my own Black Draconium Empire. But the White Draconium empire extended their dabbling into other feilds."
That certainlly made sence, Black Dragons had strong wills, taking that away from them would make them...Not black dragons anymore. "But why? Dragons are the strongest after all."
A small thin panel of gold draconium vibrated near his right ear, "Because Dragons cannot go everywhere, not even gold dragons."
Armaggedon paused as he senced and felt the subtle change in Moordryd's posture, an alertness that indicated he was listening to the Gear. "What did she said, Moordryd?"
"That Dragons can't go everywhere," he repeated faithfully, even though it didn't make much sence to him, there were dragons here, weren't there? And in the water and deep oceans, eveywhere, espcially places where humans didn't go. Having to act as a go between the two was...odd to say the least. Though he heard Armmageddon he knew it was partially in his head, just like those eyes--so how did Gear hear him?
"That is partially true. But they say the White Draconium Empire was after something, something incredible to create or recreate in Dragons. They called it the Reclaimation usually and to that end they sold their skills anywhere and to everyone so they could fund what was like a holy mission to them. The Muhorta were their doing, at least in part. And the basis for the Gray Bone Dragons possessing exoskeletons as well. None of this compares to what they made for the Light Blue Draconium Empire."
"What about the Hydrags? And what did they make for the Light Blue Empire?"
Armageddon's voice was sharp and critizing, "The Hydrags were created by the Green Draconium Empire," as if it were not obvious from their coloration. "While immature they are intelligent, but as they grow, their brains do not and they become vicious--while they are young they can be trained to not attack certain people."
Which...rather explained why he had seen very small hydrags with the big green dragons that had come out of the caves.
Armaggdon settled and continued on musing, "They made an inpenatrable defence that would kill anyone and anything in the seas and oceans, giving the Light Blue Empire sole domain of the deep waters. But it was their undoing, while none could attack they were isolated and eventually died off. I have come to understand that there is very little travel by water in this era, save for shallow water and rivers. If it is because their weapon still lives and breeds, best pray to any of the gods you still belive in you never meet it."

“I’m back with my secret weapon! Corn syrup a horse can not resist it!” she said putting some on Blackys bit “there now take some on your fingers’ and offer it to him.”
Amber looked at her sister and nodded holding out her middle and index finger, Alisse pored some of the sticky syrup on amber’s fingers, once she hade some on her fingers’ she turned to her horse,
“Here I have some thing good for you!! It’s really yummy !” she stuck her hand out to his mouth he jerked his head back and slowly brought it back and licked the syrup off ,

“There now lets’ get a move on before He leave’s with out us!” Alisse said hurrying out of the barn,
“Come on Blacky.” she said picking up her helmet off the floor. She placed it on her head and buckled the strap.

The bright summer sun blinded her eyes, she put her free hand over her eye’s and blinked a couple time’s until her vision came back.
“Hurry up slow poke!” her other sister called from her horse,

“Here I’ll hold him.” Justine said putting her 3 year old daughter on the ground,
“Thanks, you know how he can be some times.” She said tossing the rains over his head
“Yup and today must be one of those days.” Justine said grabbing him at the bit
Amber put her foot in the stirrup and hoisted her self up using the saddle horn and a clump of his main.
He side stepped away from the weight she put in the stirrup, she quickly swing her other leg over and grabbed the rains jerking him back,
“Smarten up!” She said pulling the rains making him back up,
“There good boy.” she said patting his long black neck,
“You got him?” Justine asked stepping towards her,
“Yup!”
“Ok then.” She went over and picked up her daughter, “its’ time we get in the wagon isn’t it?” and she took her seat beside her husband,
“Is every body ready?” The old man asked
“Yup.” every one said
“Ok then lets go.” With a flick of his rains the team of horses pulled off carrying the whole family,
“Come on Blacky.” amber said giving her horse a little kick but he stood frozen staring into the woods , amber looked ahead at the wagon as it got further away with her family ,
“Come on Blacky!”She said giving him a harder kike, but still no reaction, she noticed his gaze.
“What’s’ out there boy?” she said looking into the wood’s.
Then she saw it a large dark form ‘It can’t be a moose it’s too big …’ she thought ‘Is it a dragon?’
