:wub: Eep!! Ever since my trip to discovery Cove (and waay before that) I've loved Dolphins! I've been lucky enough to go swimming with one twice!
Boodvork was the first one, then it was Hutch. But Hutch was my favourite experience. Discovery cove had the best feel to it.
So who else likes Dolphins? :wub:

Well, I think you are referring to bottle nosed dolphins, which I love, but I love Orcas more! :D Never got to swim with a dolphin though.

Orca's are also cute. I prefer calling them Orcas to Killer Whales. Where did the whale bit come from? They're a member of the Dolphin family. I also adore Southern Rightwhale Dolphins ^^ :wub:

The closest I've been from a dolphin was when I went to Sea World Orlando 8 years ago... I fed a dolphin with these tiny mini micro funny fish :P

Orcas are called killer whales because they go after, kill, and eat whales, sharks, other delphin species. They are also called wolves of the sea, because they hunt like them.

I like Dolphins though, I like ecco the Dolphin even though I suck at all the games. Found the best damn Ecco fic though:

Yeah, dolphins are pretty cool. You have to appreciate what is most likely the second most intelligent animal on the planet. Though I'm not sure if they've ever decided which member of the dolphin species is the most intelligent. Has anyone ever read if say bottlenose dolphins are more intelligent than orcas, for example? Just curious. :)

Thats a good question Furox. Apparently Bottlenose Dolphins are the most intellengent of their family. I read it in a majority of Dolphin books. But I think that Orcas and Bottlenose Dolphins have the same intellegence.

I've been lucky enough to swim with Manatees in their natural Habitat too!!
They are both unbelievably cool animals, and Manatees are endangererd too!! :(

I liked dolphjins, and now I love them ever since I swam with them in Cuba
AND, two dolphins came up beneath me and pushed me out of the waterfor a few seconds! I was litteraly surfing on dolphins!

I sure do!!! I swam with them in Xcaret Mexico and I have adored them ever since. They are my favorite animal after Dragons. I cant help but be amazed at the complexity that all members of the Cetacean group exhibit.

i have been to discovery cove many times and have also swam with the dolphins. i have even seen wild dolphins in australia. i have been in contact with dolphins many times in other words. so ya, i love dolphins too(i would hope so since one day i will be a marine biologist)
