Wow.. Do I ever feel out of the loop :P Dragon Booster is the only Show I knew from any of the votes. I did vote for DB.. but the mini vid did not show any of Beau flying with his own wings, or a set of White Aero Wings.. kind of dumb given the catigory.

Believe me, you're not missing much. I find W.I.T.C.H. to be nearly unwatchable. Get Ed is barely passable. The nearly endless chase sequences keep it flowing, but it's a mindless show otherwise. No character development, the plots are shallow, there's no intrigue and the writers push the reset button after every episode. Plus I find it difficult to get excited about a show whose central focus is package delivery... :unsure:

I wonder who did the nominations for this? Probably just the execs at Jetix.

besides the fact for their few "well placed" catagories (yuck of the year? PLEASE!), there isn't much to choose from really :rolleyes: seriously who wants to watch a bunch of kids DELIVERING PACKAGES!?! "mom guess what I want to be when I grow up! A UPS delivery person!" :D Super Robot Hyper Team Go is a pretty cool show, not too bad. But for the love to god, WHY DON'T THEY STOP MAKING POWER RANGERS!! as if the ninja and SPD were bad enough...now we got mystic force...WAY TO GO YA GREEDY EXCUTIVES FROM HELL! I liked the old ones (even though it was highly racial i.e black=black ranger, asian=yellow ranger, and valley girl=pink ranger) still it was enjoyable.

but hey! if kids are watching them and are liking them, who am I to judge? let their minds go to waste with recycled nonsense YAY! :dance:

Oh, and I noticed that there's no limit on many times you can vote in Jetix Hero Awards... ;)

I never understood why that show was so popular either. But it certainly is popular and it sells tons of toys, so I'm sure it will keep going for a long time to come. Is the appeal because it's simple for the young kids to understand?

On why people like Get Ed and Power Rangers:

Get Ed does seem to have an over hanging story arc in that Ed is a genetic experiment. And honestly the animation seems a bit better than Dragon Booster's.

Power rangers? Zords. All the serries happen in sequensal order in the same universe and actually tie together. Belive it or not it has a huuuuge plot. But most fans think Power Rangers in Space as the real ending.

Also, Serpentera was damn cool

I agree with you guys, there are good hows on today execpt Dragon booster. Don't even get me started about power rangers I mean seriously when will they stop?! I can't even name half of them! :eep: get ed has good graphics but he is an alien thing! They are makeing to many new shows and all of them are really bad! Dragon booster is a really good show and is underated! That mini clip doesn't show him in dragon of legend with wings aka The choosing part 1. They should pick better episodes and get more dragon booster i mean dragon booster qualifies for like all the episodes!

This is good that it won. Because, its showing Jetix that people are watching the show and, they like what they see.

I watched it too and I think the episode was ok but i agree with pursoot. The choosing part 1 should have been the episode shown.

Woo-hoo! I talked to my friend, and she watched an episode of it. She said it sucked.

Reasons:
-Difficult to catch on.
-Bad graphics.
-Dull storyline.

That would be my friend ranting. Still, Get Ed is somewhat pathetic, Power Rangers is as OLD AS DIRT!!!! One complaint: Show season three in America, for god's sake. Please!

It's very easy to spell-check your posting regardless of what computer you're on: bring up a second window and paste your posting into spellcheck.net before you post it here. It's a bummer that the Invision boards don't have spellcheck built-in, but it's not much extra effort to use spellcheck.net. Or even better: switch to a Mac. :) Their browser has "spell-check as you type" built into it that's active in all text entry boxes anywhere. If it flags a word as misspelled (underlined in red) and you don't know how to spell it, just right-click over the word for suggestions. If you need to see a definition of a word, hold down control-command-D and hover the mouse over any word on the screen and the definition of the word will appear instantly in a little "tool tip" style window. You can also access the thesaurus this way. Quite handy when you're searching for the right word to express what you want to say. (Mac OS comes with an extensive dictionary and thesaurus built-in, so there's nothing to download or set up. It just works.) Oktay I am new here..if you hadn't noticed. I voted for DB..on the only one I could then I voted for W.I.T.C.H. and Get ED....I watch too much T.v... :plot:

They didn't even use the episode from the clip! I watch Jetix but only for Dragon Booster. Now on weekends they use a new show called Daigunder instead of Dragon Booster!!
