How close is Artha and Beau. Do they just view each other as partners or more than that?

Okay, I officially have a dirty mind.

And it should be "how close ARE (they)".

Then that makes two of us Sarah... no worse then the fic about Decepshun and Moordryd though.

As for how they see each other, I dunno but they act a lot like brothers might. They were raised together and artha helpin' in the stables would have made sure they'd know each other almost since they were both fairly young.
Especially if the comment about horses has any accuracy, cause the stables seemsed to be run like a family run ranch.

A brotherly bond sounds about right based on what we've seen. Artha and Beau were raised together, so they appear to view each other as family. Beau in particular seems pretty intent on protecting Artha. And at least in an episode like "Track of Doom," Artha indicates he won't walk away from Beau when the going gets tough.

Okay, I'd say brotherly. They're the same age, and both raised by the same man, so it's safe to assume they've known each other their whole lives.

Brotherly bond. Yep, like brothers. That's how it's going so far (and I hope it stays like that...). Putting the whole "dragons are our equals" thing aside...I mean, the relationship is just like a dog and a human's relationship, caring and loving and whatever, but not exactly to THAT extent.

I think all the above posters have emphasized how "close" Artha and Beau are, but I'd like to see other possible "close" relationships with the other characters. I mean, there's already Kitt and Artha, though we never see them get all comfortable by themselves, or at least act all lovey-dovey like in the first few episodes, which they don't seem to have time for in later episodes. :lol:

But seriously, <_< it could imply other relationships as well. Like between the dragons. And what about Mortis and Word? Are they really so alike that they don't really need a relationship and sacrifice it to become living and breathing stereotypes?

I strayed too far from the topic of this thread, though. Point is, A & B are even better best friends than A & P. So there.

I guess the brotherly bond thing does make sense. I'd go with that one. When one's in trouble, the other tries all he can to help out, but when it's just something silly they laugh. Kinda cute actually :D

One of Sarah's fics on Fanfiction.net I think it's called Black Down Street, though I thought that the romance genre was just to confuse people. though I love the genre idea! MoordrydxDecepshun fics would be convincing too, as well, no clue what I was sayin'... or where it was foing....
