Title: Anyone We Know?

Misogny by someone calling themselves Boosterdragon.

The blogger does a good job of taking him apart. I agree with her: pornography as it exists today tends to be misogynist and violent towards women, and it is clearly wrong to pressure a partner into sex if they're less than completely interested. Women aren't commodities.

i agree fully.
Yes i am a guy, but that doesnt mean that i think that women are only for sex.
Most guys treat them like sex toys, and i think they are equals to man, and have the right to say no to sex, just as much as men do. Women have rights (This is aimed at the guys) and you should treat them with respect, not seduce them just to get in their pants.

I am in agreement with The Power of FIRE on this.. For guys like Fire and my self it is hard to get others to belive that we are anydifferent from the General mass of guys that share this hight negative and destructive view on this isue.

I agree. I'm not really in much of a position to give my own views, as I'm still developing in that field. However, I object to the use of women as purely sex objects (Mind you...eh, it's difficult to say, so I won't). Though I'm not female, I still think that reducing someone to the status of 'object' is very very wrong (Now you see why I detest the Roman Empire and positively adore the Celts for some reason). For that reason (and plus I'm only fourteen) I refuse to watch any sort of porn flick.

This is all very confusing when your sexual identity's only just emerging.
