Title: Unknown Artist Of Picture

power of dragon - May 4, 2006 12:55 AM (GMT)
Hi everyone! I was curious about who has created this picture. I was thinking of recreating this picture and wanted to give credit to the orginial artist. :)

EDIT] user posted image
ok, i think Eris OC (or Eris, sorry not sure about the name) made this artwork, (thanks to those who replyed! i needed that information :( did not mean to offend anyone)

I think Eris made that. I'll go check.....

That picture is Eris OC.

He/She did that picture.

EDIT...

and again...MARI WON THE POST!!

Yes, that if from Eris!!

And wouldn't re-creating it be stealing the artwork? Are you intending to make a template out of it, because if so, it IS stealing.

If you just want to re-draw the char in the pic, I think Eris might be flattered. I'm no authority, just my opinion. ;)

And Dragonide, are we now having a contest or something? This is the... *counts* I think fourth post I've beaten you to!

Now THAT is one nice piece of artwork! I love the fur/fan-like/feathery tail. :P Anf how the claws are! I want that in my sig! Or on my desktop, so i can look at it all the time! I hope there's a bigger version....

oh... opps, ok, i may have worded it wrong, i meant that i was adding cool effects to the picture. I don't mean to steal any art work, and once i found out who the artist was i was going to ask before i did anything. Didn't mean to steal, or offend anyone
i'm going to try asking what Eris thinks before i place my new verson of their artwork up.

Yep, that's Eris' work alright! She had a thread with the option to make requests a while back, and what do you know? Here's the Link! Although I'm not sure whether she's still taking requests...

But if you're planning on recreating it by just recoloring, I'd send her an email (or PM, but she hasn't been able to get on as much as she'd like) and ask. Nobody likes mad artists on their tail(s). :P

Oh, no, no, no, no! I was not yelling, just letting you know. If you were to, say, just re-color the pic and claim it as your own, that is stealing. I think, however, if you were to make a template for Eris out of it and then ask, she might give you permission to re-color. You'd just need her permission so you didn't get in trouble. That is all I wanted to say.

Sorry if I sounded mean or anything. I really didn't mean to, honest. :)

ok, I understand :) i feel better, thanks for the heads up :) i'm asking her before i do anything.

Oh good. Lots of people have gotten deleted here because they re-colored art and claimed it as their own without the author's permission. Just wanted you to be VERY aware of that rule, so you don't get in trouble. Welcome to the board. :P
