I go to a public school but I just wanted to know if other people here attend public or private schools.

I've attended both public and private schools, and I have to say I liked the public schools better. Everyone was a lot more understanding about my blindness and I got a lot more of the help I needed. In the private school I basically didn't get anything, except for one teacher who was very good and got what I needed for her class. Every other teacher just expected me to do everything the same as everyone else did. I think the school got a certain amount of money towards what I needed as well. Don't ask me where that went because I have no idea!

I guess I could say I go to a private school. Techinacly I go to a parochial school...but hey, I guess it counts as a private school.

I've been to both public and private schools too. I liked the public schools better because they had a lot more subjects to choose from. Private schools tend to be smaller and don't have the students to make extra classes worthwhile. But it was great up until year 11.

I'm a Public school girl and loving it. I know that some of the private schools around here want NOTHING to do with the community. The public schools absolutely love the community and have a huge role in it.

Public school girl.

Public for my primary years, now private.

My current school (IGS) is 'unreligious' which means NO Christmas OR Easter decorations around the majority of the school (bar the primary <_<). That sucks. Having scientific explanations for EVERYTHING sucks. We need a bit of mystery in the world!

All three, but mainly the latter.

I used to go to public school but I needed extra help and the school wouldn't give it to me so my mom took me out and now I'm in home school.

Public, I hated school, hated the uniforms more. I love the university.

Yes, I liked college a lot more as well. I was in public school for K through 12th grade, then attended two different private colleges (one for undergraduate, one for graduate studies). Fortunately, I knew I wanted to study computer science by 11th grade and therefore picked colleges that had exactly the degree programs I wanted. Makes a big difference when you're studying what you're really interested in.

I've never been to a public school in my life. Sometimes i really wish i was homeschooled too. But yea i go to a public school

Well I go to a Catholic School so it really depends on how you look at it whether it is public or privite. For me, there are four different types of schools, Privite when you pay for the education, home schooled, Catholic, where it is focused around realigon and you have to take it every year, and Public. But it also depends on were you live on how you would catogize this, I think. Because where I live Catholic schools are free (I know for my parents they had to pay) as well as Public schools.
