Title: Agh! Brain Break! >_<
Description: line of thought that turn Db upside down

Nemi the Nen - April 30, 2006 09:17 AM (GMT)
Alright, this occured to me while walking around in the dark while closing up shop.

1. There are Five Boosters
1.1 Gold, Fire, Green, Blue, Shadow

2. They helped the orginal dragon booster end the war 3000 years ago
2.1 Fire Booster in "No Payne, No Gain" Episode is Proof of 1 Booster at least
2.2 Invoking Cartoon Law #351, If more than 2 get _, they all get _
2.3 Therefore they all will be/were allied with the Dragon Booster

3. Boosters, to be Boosters, need the armor and Speshul Dragon

4. Most Obviously Moodryd has Armor, and Speshul Dragon
4.1 Moordryd is the Shadow Booster
4.2 Therefore his Armor is The Shadow Booster's Armor
4.3 It is refered to this in the show I think

5. Armmageddon is Linked to the Amulet of the Shadow Booster Armor
5.1 Armmy had the Amulet
5.2 Ergo, orginally the Amulet was Armmy's

Therefore:

6. Armmy was the Orginal Shadow Booster and is on Dragon Booster's Side!?
6.1 OMGWTFBBQ?!
6.2 O_o @.@ 0.0 %_# >.<;;;;
6.3 Cr-rack!
6.4 Iiieeeee! My Brain! It hurts! It is Broken! OW!
6.5 Wait, what was I thinking again?
6.6 Refer to 6. through 6.5, rince repeat--and try not to
hurt youself.

Someone please refute my statements and return my brain to it's non-broken state? Though I fear it won't happen because I figured out the Soul Reaver Paradoxy thing a long time ago, my brain breaks itself in a logical manner, unfort.

Well, let's face it, Moordryd will change sides.

Oh poor Artha will have a rival in Speshulness.

Er, ignore that. I think the only thing to think about is why Moordryd will change sides.

And Armagedion...whoa, I never thought about that...Cool!

Good point.... Perhaps Armeggy only wanted power and he knew that if he fought against the origional DB that he would loose, so he chose to be good just so he could get power..... Or...... something like that.....  :ph43r:

Of course since is Dragon Booster Logic will be ignored and there's probably no chance of this conclusion being revealed. However:

Does Armmy ever say anything against Dragon Booster directly?

and

If Armmy spouted that helping dragon booster was Moordryd's destiny (and possible 'controling the largest power in the world to stop the war') would Moordryd go along with it?

Teknikat - April 30, 2006 04:47 PM (GMT)
I mean absolutely no offense when I say this but...you just realized that?

The one thing that bothers me about this though is that Armmy-boy isn't exactly an example of good. And the Vyzox (nifty as she is) doesn't fit the 'good-looking dragon' scenario. She's pointy, and give evil smiles of death. And has red eyes. Yeah.

So as much as I think Armmy-boy was the original Shadow Booster, I also think he either defected the side of good at the end or was never with the original Dragon Booster to begin with.

But then one must also ponder if Armmy (while making it look bad) is actually simply training Moordryd. A bad way to go about it, but Moordryd does have a mind of his own.

Perhaps Armmy-boy was simply the most aloof of the Boosters, which would make sense. Revelling in making mischief and mayhem, but doing his duty in the end. Usually.

Or I could be completely wrong. I did just wake up...*laughs*

Oh, Moodryd joing teh good guys was a given since the early episodes.

But Armmy is portayed as talking amulet o doom. Armmy as Good Guy isn't something that occures to someone. And, truthfully I don't often give Db a huge amount of fanthought beyond "Squee, shiney dragons" and "Okay, this is how the ecosystem is going to be in myfic." (whereas Soul Reaver made me "Ooh, Ahh" "Now why did That happen" x30)

Isn't that a bit prejusticed? Yeah: Jerome doesn't fit the 'good-looking blackguy' scenario. He's got spiked peircings and evil smiles of death. And has red eyes.

*shrugs*

Ah, but we are talking about a childrens show that often goes with the simpliest ways of protraying good and bad.

Am I saying that Vyzox was evil? No. But her looks (with a cartoon such as DB) suggests she is.

Personally, I rather have her good. Evil-looking things that are actually good are fun!

Nemi the Nen - April 30, 2006 05:32 PM (GMT)
Well we have a Good looking Guy that's actually Bad (but will become Good.) Namely Moordryd. Despite the classic white hair makes a villian thing, he is expersive, which is usually reserved for the good guys, leaving the bad guys with mwahahahs.

So why not a dragon too? Look. We KNOW Moordryd is going to go good, it's practically written in stone. Vysepshun is his speshul dragon, so she's going to have to come with.

Indeed; Dragon Booster tends to lend itself far more easily to the Doylist than Watsonian interpretation.

My crack at it: Armageddon was never part of stopping the dragon-human war but some other people from the Black Empire were, or else only helped when he didn't have any other choice. Or else he simply got trapped in the original Shadow Booster's amulet after trying to steal it.

I really don't like the concept of the Five Boosters. Captain Planet and Power Rangers have it covered already.

Interesting point. My take on it is Armeggadon was the original Shadow Booster - ruler of the Dragon Eye Empire, but was overthrown/defeated by someone in his empire. Vyzox`s mind was placed in a bonemark like all the other warrior dragons when the original Dragon of Legend returned them all to gold draconium boned dragons(along with Furox, Samurox, etc.). A similar process might`ve been used on Armeggadon, trapping him in the amulet instead of a bonemark and placed inside the Dragon Eye Shadow Track - until Artha defeated the track, releasing everyone trapped inside.
In my opinion, Armeggadon is training Moordred up to a point when he can take over Moordred`s body for himself, and rule once more.

>_< I swear to god if they have this super hero catch phrase where they all shout "Penn Racing Team GO!" I'm going to tear out my hair and stuff it down my throat.

NOTE: MY LITTLE SARCASTIC RANT
I liked the power rangers but absolutely hated Captain Planet >< couldn't have one speshuel kid no it has to be 4 other ones! but who knows maybe the other boosters won't be who we think are cause obviously a freakin 10 year old can't go into battle with super cool armor and a weapon! or the maturity XD what kind of example would we show these youngin's huh?

hahaha I just felt like saying those cause its how I felt and thought it was just too funny to pass up
