Why? It shows up on the forum anyway. And people really can't track you down by knowing your birthday or anything.

True. But all of the little bits of info that I've given people can end up being one big personal profile on the net.

Plus one not-so-young adult. :P
But yeah, you tend not to run into a lot of young kids on these forums. Generally, they're not allowed access to the Internet, and if they are, there's usually filtering software that tries to block forums. The animation related forums for the shows I've been interested in are usually populated mostly by high school and college age folks, but there are exceptions of course.

I thought that I was TOO old to watch this kidies' cartoon.... heheheh :plot:
The Furox - May 9, 2006 04:53 AM (GMT)
Nah, you're never too old to enjoy a good cartoon. Don't forget that the people who make cartoons are all adults. And the ones who are really good at it seriously love animation. John Lasseter at Pixar turns 50 next year, and he loves cartoons and is a toy collector. And of course, there was Walt Disney.
The "animation is just for kids" cliche is mainly cultural. In Japan, most adults read manga and watch anime. There's nothing unusual about it over there. And with shows like "South Park", "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons" it's becoming less unusual to find adults watching over here.

I'm 15. And happy that their are people out there my age (and older) that watch cartoons as well. I feel they are much better for the emaganation than those reality shows. (sorry if you like those shows) But when ever I do watch cartoons I feel weird when someone else is in the room (manly my parents). Even my brother who is younger than me makes me feel weird watching the cartoons. Am I the only one that feels this way, I wonder?
LightningFlash - May 11, 2006 12:59 AM (GMT)
Nah, I feel a little awkward if I'm watching Dragon Booster or Class of the Titans or something and Dad decides to come and watch it with me. :P Not a regular event, though, as he works past six.
And, of course, it's quite amusing if I'm watching something like Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, or Samurai Champloo and someone comes in. I don't think they're sure what to think. ;)

That happens to me!
But my brother is older.... he is 18, and whenever he, or my mom comes in... I switch the channel as fast as I can.... While I was doing that one day, my brother, accidentally pushed some button on the remote and it switched back to DB. He was like.... is this what you were watching?!?! I was like.... ughh... n_n''', then he laughed... -.-;;
