I think it would be really conveiniant for you Flash, to have a back-up admin, as i have realized you PM inbox is full, and that is maybe a good reason to have one, not only that, the rules will be more put in place if we have 2 admins!
Please dont get mad, this is after all, just a suggestion ;)
and if you say no that is just fine, i was just wonderng if we should have one in case you need a bit of help ^_^

LightningFlash will appoint other admins if and when she sees fit. No doubt she will clear out her inbox as soon as she gets online, which should be in around six hours, assuming you have the patience. Stop illiterately making disguised "suggestions" of this nature.

Why is it every time I get passed a post from this board to look over it's someone wondering if Anna needs a hand with administration? Are you people blind, stupid, or a combination of the two? This has all been discussed before. Many times in fact. I assume all the old posts are still up, so why does no one bother reading them before posting yet another one??

An already has several 'back up' admin to call upon should she need it, not to mention me if anyong needs their butt kicking or IP tracing. Yes, thats right kiddo, all she has to do is send me a mail and I'll be on your ass like some unimaginably horrible rash from another dimension.

And no, there isn't any form of cream out there to cure it.

I will say one thing to defend Fire; Flash deleted the thread, I believe, before Fire was even a member. I would know, I tried to find it so I could re-read it in order to keep myself humble and aware of the fact I tend to be rather ignorant and obnoxious.

In case you didn't know Fire, I made this suggestion earlier, and, in my stupidity ((Yes, now that I re-read it since I printed it off )) I posted it rather rudely. I admit to it, so please don't re-open the flaming/discussion we had previously.

Anyway, Flash won't appoint a moderator until she feels she needs one and we have no buisness requesting it. Mm'kay? :)

It is rude to begin a topic on a forum implying that the current admin is incapable of handling her job, particularly when the person writing it appears to be functionally illiterate themselves. LightningFlash has so far done an excellent job (if somewhat lenient by my lights) and it is inappropriate to publicly suggest she grant more people board powers.

Yes, the previous thread has been deleted, but that still does not make the behaviour appropriate. Evidently the OP is merely stupid and rude rather than ignorant; I extend my formal apologies. The proper forum for requesting more admins is via private message (or publicly if a week or so had passed without the message getting through). This board is not a democracy.

I wasnt saying LF wasnt doing a good job, she is doing an awesome job, and i thank her for it!
i just wanted to know if she could use some assistance is all.

There was no reason for you to reply other than to insult Sarah. She is not being rude - she is using correct English. She apologiesed for her first assumption, but stated that she was entirely correct to point out Power's mistake. Which she was as she is a long term board member, not to mention unofficial moderator and close friend of the board owner.

I find your behavior unacceptable. If you are looking for a definition of rudeness why not try 'Replying to a topic simply to aggrevate another board member after you have been asked not to reply.'.

I don't expect to see anything after this. I'll leave An to draw her own conclusions about the villan of the piece if I do.

Ok, umm,i don't want to take sides. And i'm not argueing. I just want to bring up that new rule that Flash made up, maybe it'll help you guys to stop bashing each other.

Here's that new rule: Do not bash or discriminate against other members' character or 'shipping preferences, nor the members themselves.

And i just want to add, some people are being extremely rude here, and are breaking the rule.*points above* I'm not going to name names, but i think we all know who i'm talking about. And someone was just suggesting and asking something, which can obviously not go. I'm not going to look at this topic again, since someone might say something rude to me after i post this, and i don't want to hear it. I just hope someone new on here doesn't stumble across the topic...

No, at the moment I do not plan to appoint another admin. If I ever do it more likely than not will not be a regular member of this board for the simple reason that you all have friends on here, and people you like less than others, and this will affect your judgment. Just so you are aware, I have quite a number of members dropping less-than-subtle hints about what good admins they'd be, and this is my answer for all of them.

My inbox is full yes. Care to know why? Because I've been in bed, asleep. Again, chances are if I were to choose another admin, they'd also have to sleep, and quite probably at the same time as me. My inbox fills up quite regularly, and I can handle it. Thank you.

I will not delete this thread, seeing as people seem to think they need a reminder as to why they shouldn't suggest stuff like this. I will close it if this behaviour continues.

No one will be 'punished' over this, I'm going to ignore it unless it comes up again.

I do have one final question, though. Is there any actual reason people keep suggesting this? Beyond 'I'd really love to be co-admin!', that is? As far as I'm concerned, I'm handling this board, and the occasional show of stupidity by members who find themselves banned, rather well. Well enough to have continued growth and activity, at the very least. This isn't about ego stroking, btw. I genuinely want to know.

(Also, more posts/longer membership don't make one a better member than someone with less posts. I have seen people spamming and making pointless posts just to get their numbers up, after all.)

Also, dont pick me for co-admin, cause i would be bad for it XD.
I was just simply saying, that from time to time, i thought you could use a little help is all, i think you are running this board very good, and i applaud you for it.
And all you guys had to do was say no, she alredy said she can handle it and that would have stopped my worrying. But instead everyone goes and gets all bent out of shape about it.
