As you all know, Dragon Booster will end it's run after episode 39 unless the TV stations decide to order more episodes. Let's see if we can help convince the broadcasters to keep Dragon Booster on the air and make more episodes:

You don't have to put down your real name if you don't feel comfortable doing so. You can put just your first name and initial and/or your screen name if you want. Just don't put down any obviously fake names like "James Bond" since that hurts the credibility of the petition.

An email address is required to show there's a real person behind the signature, but it's kept private by default. If your concerned about that, create a new hotmail or yahoo account for this.

If you add a comment, make it an encouraging comment. Angry and/or threatening comments don't help. Instead, say why the show is so great.

Try to get every member of your family and all your friends (and their families) to sign, too. Every voice counts.

Spread the word. If you have a web site, blog, journal, or whatever, please consider linking to this thread (or directly to the petition). Also, tell people on other forums you're involved in and ask them to sign as well. We'll need a lot of signatures to make this work.

Once you've signed the petition, please also take the time to write a short letter and send it into the networks that air the show. Feel free to use any or all of the text in the petition if you want.

Another thing we can do is to get Dragon Booster available in the iTunes store. They offer TV shows now, and having DB available there would expose more people to it and hopefully generate more fans. If the episodes sold well on iTunes, that would convince the networks to order more episodes.

Do ya think you can make something that we can send around on our e-mails? You know how when one of your contacts e-mail all of their contacts with something that you write your name down, out write a word of encouragment,etc... Well, if somebody got something like that up, with this DB petition, send it to all of your contacts! Just say it is dependant of the lives of many huge fans, and to keep a great show running! I can't do it, i can barely reply to an e-mail...

I'll send it to the US broadcasters and it would be great if I could get some volunteers in the other countries to send it to their broadcasters as well. I think it will carry more weight if one of their own viewers sends it.

1 other thing we should need to do is this...We need to be purchesing some of the merchindise. Weather its the toys, vidgame, DVD, etc. Because, if the network heads see that show can still make them money. That will also help. But, make sure that you purches what ever you decide to get from a legit retailer and not something like Ebay. Buying through something like Amazon.com, or Best Buy, toys r us, etc. Is the only way they will see any prophit from it. So I would suggest that we purches some of the merchindise. Thats how Family Guy made it back on the air.

I've signed as well. There's 43 signatures now! I think we're gonna need a heap more though.

We do, but it's not impossible. Dragon-city.org gets thousands of separate visitors each month. If each person would sign and get their immediate family members to sign as well, then we'd have well over 10,000 signatures. A number like that would make a difference.

The problem is that it's hard to convince people to take the time to sign. The majority will shrug it off and think their one signature won't matter or they won't ask their family members to sign, and thousands of potential signatures are lost. I wish I knew what to say to convince all those people to sign.

"I`ve seen this happen before. A well-made interesting animated series being cancelled/shelved simply because the networks consider it "only a cartoon" and thus not important enough to continue purchasing episodes beyond a certain point. Very wrong-headed thinking in my opinion, especially in light of the program`s international fan support. Wise up, CBC, Jetix, ABC; don`t kill this program before it`s time. I`m sure Story Hat will be glad to continue producing this award winning show!"

How much time do we have left before the petition season stops?

I don't really know. At the moment, it doesn't look like Jetix is going to air season 3 until the fall, which might give us some time. At some point though, Nerd Corps will finish the last episode in season 3, and once that happens, they'll have to move on to another project to keep the company going. Ideally, we'd like that project to be season 4. :) It would be nice if we could gather enough signatures to convince the broadcasters to order more episodes before that date comes around.
