Ok

Fansfiction: a sort of tale written by fans of a serie, movie, novel ect. It can use Cannon Characters (CC) or out Cannon characters (OC). çThis use subgenders as parody, Romance, terror, Alternative Universe, Alternative episodes, and fics that are situated among episodes etc.

HEY

did I forgot something?

Quick question, what is Fan Fiction??

A fan fiction is any work of fiction created by a fan. :) Gives people who like to write a chance to try out story ideas that go beyond what's seen in the show, or to develop their own characters.

There's some information on the Official Web Site and there's some more on the wikipedia page Airshadow mentioned, but for the most part you'll need to watch the show to learn more. :) Eventually, I'm hoping to have a section about this on Dragon City, but that's a ways off.

Something people do for fun. Some of the people who like to draw create dragons and then offer them for "adoption". The purpose is to have fun and create a reason to draw more dragons. :)

The adoption thing, they say must have a experianced trainer or, room to run, and what to feed it...?

LightningFlash - April 4, 2006 04:21 AM (GMT)
Try the Wikipedia Article.

"Fan fiction (also spelled fanfiction and commonly abbreviated to fanfic or fic when used in a singular sense) is fiction written by people who enjoy a film, novel, television show or other media work, using the characters and situations developed in it and developing new plots in which to use these characters. Characters and props from more than one media work may also be incorporated into a single fanfiction (known as crossovers)."

We say that to make it seem more like we're adopting REAL dragons, rather than just images. Of course, they're more than images to the people who adopt them! :)

Welcome to the board! Have a nice time!

I think that's just to make it seem more realistic. Some people say that and want to know whether you've adopted dragons before. "Needs room to run" and such is just a way of making some interesting quirks and the like for the adoptable dragons.
