As will I :) Next time I recommend getting some thing like this edited or proofed by some one who uses English as a primary language.

It's 'Series', and we use the term episode, rather than chapter when it comes to TV shows.
I'll sign. :)

It's a great idea and I was actually thinking about starting one of these myself. Two comments though:
First, I think the petition would carry more weight with proper grammar and spelling. I hate to sound like I'm nit-picking, but I've been in the business world a long time and the more polished and professional something is, the more likely it is to be taken seriously.
Second, the petition really needs to be directed to the TV stations. They're the ones that actually buy the episodes. I'm 100% positive that both The Story Hat and Nerd Corps want to make more episodes, but they can't unless Jetix, CBC, ABC and others want to buy them. They're the ones we have to convince.
You might want to think about re-doing these and starting again. I'll help you if you want.
Just some advice.

I just signd myself. Im going to pass this petion around and try to get more signatures. I think we should all do that.

I signed! But as Furox said, the petitions taken the most seriously are the most polished, but it's great, all the same.
Airshadow - March 27, 2006 12:34 PM (GMT)
sigh
but if I redone it al thos people that have signed have to re-write the petition again :/
don't sure if I have to do it.
What's your opinion?
SheWulph - March 27, 2006 05:43 PM (GMT)
I've sighed it but with only 11 sigs we are not going to make a difference. Mayby it should be changed like Furox said.

12 now. I SIGNED!! *Is depressed* Man, if DB is cancelled..... :(
But can you edit the petition so that it is directed at Jetix, ABC Family and CBA instead of making an entire new petition?

No, petitions can't be edited at all since it would be unfair to change the wording or intent of the petition after people had signed it. So they're frozen once they're started.
Ideally, it would also be best to re-word the petition to appeal to how the TV station executives think, since they're the ones we need to sell the idea of more episodes to. There's the possibility of getting a greater impact that way.
The site also let's you throw in poll type questions for the signers to answer. So we could, for example, express our interest to see more dragon personalities in the show at the same time. I'd also add a column so people can list their country to show how DB has international appeal.
We only have a few signatures at the moment. I don't think those people who mind signing a second time since it only takes a few seconds.
It's up to Airshadow though. We definitely don't want more than one of these going at a time.

I recomended passing the petition out but, The Furox suggested we wait to do that. In case they decided to re-do the petition.
Airshadow - March 28, 2006 04:19 AM (GMT)
OK
I closed petitions in order to write them property, I should have done it more property and I would work hard in order the grammar and spelling be more understable.
please don't try post more until appears the news ones
