Description: Is it just me or did I miss something?

Throughout the serries I cannot remember the instance of a single wraith dragon ever using a mag burst, ever. Considering wraith gear allows the person with the controler to control them, while allowing the dragons to work without precice guidance the gear obviously taps into their higher brain functions.

Discuss.

Actually, you bring up an interesting point. Up until - err...Season 3 (too lazy to remember what # of epp :P), we've seen wraith dragons with the following attributes:

- Control Gear
- Cloaking Device
- Trapping Gear

We've also seen that they're used as spies and as simple weapons. Note that through almost all episodes, they have been used for physical attack, but not mag-blasting. Note as well that in "The Stand" Beau never used mag-energy as a wraith, and that when he was trying to mag the gear off, he couldn't. Well, what if one of the attributes weakens the mag function of a dragon? It somewhat makes sense; the gear Word uses on the wraiths can be stopping magging, so that dragons can't mag it off if the control gear should malfunction.

However, then we have Beau in "The Wraith Booster". The human wraith gear that was placed on Dragon Booster Artha not only affected Artha as well, but it affected Beau. It was powerful enough not only to control the Dragon Booster AND the dragon of legend of all things*, but it was built well enough so that it could feed an overwhelming amount of black draconium energy into Artha and Beau so that they could make a crazy mag jump and continue to mag-blast the DCS blue boys away. :P

* Note that Artha and Beau appear to be physically strong but mentally weak, especially against black draconium. In "Into the Fire", the gear nearly got to Artha before Beau reached out to him. In "The Stand", Beau was controlled by wraith gear, before Artha reached out to him. This goes even with a red draconium lure for Beau in "Pride of the Hero"), Beau drinking liquid black draconium in "Broken Bonds", and Artha and Beau becoming wraiths in "The Wraith Booster".

Those are really intresting points. Really cool ones actually.

Maybe Word altered his wraith gear recently?

I'm sorry my reply isn't worthy of the intresting points but I can't think

When you can think again, do try to get back to me, because I'm really eager for your reply. :)
