Too bad that they don't have a pic of it!! Well...them
Hunter - March 19, 2006 05:34 AM (GMT)
Drac. B) Too bad there's no pic available yet. For DB and Beau at least. I don't care about Moordryd. <_<
IbanezJFS - March 19, 2006 05:47 AM (GMT)
Im sure you can find one with a picture floating around on Ebay somewhere. Now if we could only find out when the nevt DVD will be released. And, when will the third season start.
SilverDragon - March 19, 2006 06:12 AM (GMT)
About time! <_<
Only through Amazon? Oh damn. I want one! Moodryd and Decepshun will sell out in a week with the amount of rabid fangirls clambering to get it. They'll probably come out in shops eventually. Like, NOW!
Hopefully they come out in Australia. They look drac. B) I might just undertake an excursion to Toys R Us to go find one of the little blighters.
The Furox - March 19, 2006 08:09 AM (GMT)
Drac! They're finally out!
These must have just got listed. I checked amazon.com just a week ago and they weren't shown then.
I'm sure the Dragon Booster with Beau figure
must be this one and the Moordryd and Decepshun
must be this one.I going to wait a little while and see if they list any more figures and then I'll order whatever they have.

I meant as in 'Will the toys eventually make an appearence in Australian shops?'.
The Furox - March 19, 2006 08:30 AM (GMT)
Hard to say. The fact that it says "only available online" means the US-based Toys R Us stores aren't going to be stocking them, at least for now. Might be possible to get them through some place like a comic book store, but it would probably be a special order item.
IbanezJFS - March 19, 2006 09:02 AM (GMT)
But, I thought Amazon did international shipping. And again. If push comes to shove. Theres always Ebay.

It was on the product page last night, but now it only says that on the search results page. (Go to the amazon.com home page and search for "dragon booster".) I'm not sure what to make of that.
I also noticed that in the fine print on the product page it now says "Shipping: Currently, item can be shipped only within the U.S." Looks like Toys R Us doesn't want to do international shipping on their products.
IbanezJFS - March 20, 2006 04:54 AM (GMT)
I hope they come out with the entire first season myself. And man, do I wish Dragons like in DB were for real...To bad its only a fantasy.

Mari - March 20, 2006 10:33 PM (GMT)
 I'm guessing just about EVERYBODY on this board likes dragons better than humans!!!
Man, as son as I get to college and have a credit card, I am SO ordering and having them shipped to my dorm. I'll just tell my parents when I get home that it was a gift from a friend at college.....
IbanezJFS - March 20, 2006 11:48 PM (GMT)
I would strongley suggest that evreyone should buy what ever DB product from a lagit retailer. Cuz thats the only way they know if they are making any sales.
SilverDragon - March 29, 2006 09:09 AM (GMT)
Good news, people!
They HAVE been selling (check the ranking thing. I think this is a measure of their popularity) incredibly well. Which is a good thing. Moordryd and Decepshun seem to be much more popular than DB and Beau, probably due to the rabid fangirl base.
The fact that they have been selling is really good because these two were probably released to 'test the waters'. I guess the rest will be released in due course after them. Hopefully they'll appear worldwide..I WANT DECEPSHUN AND WYLDFYR!!!

Plus, also get this. Last I check Amazon.com They only had 3 Copies of the Dragon Booster DVD. Now that's got to be some good news. It certainly means its been selling.
The Furox - April 6, 2006 07:19 PM (GMT)
My order from amazon.com arrived the other day and I now have my first two DB action figures! B)
I took photos of the packaging and posted them on
Dragon-City.org in
Lance's Room in case you want to see them. Here are the thumbnails though:

Visit the web site to see the full size images and back panels.
They're pretty nice action figures, though I was a touch disappointed that the colors are a bit off. The pre-production photos I have (which are also on the web site) showed very accurate colors, but the production versions aren't quite that good. Beau is kind of a grayish color with dull gold and Decepshun is blue. There's also a little detail missing in the coloration. I doubt the average 8 year old would notice though, which is probably why they did them that way.
Each figure does something. Beau has "Biting Claw Action!" You pull back on his leg and his head, neck and mouth make a snapping movement. Decepshun comes with Green Ramming Gear which fires that cannonball-like thing.
All the gear, including the saddles, is removable from the dragon, and the helmets are removable from the humans.
The human faces are funny. Artha kind of looks like Michael Jackson: his nose looks odd and he's got too much eye makeup and lipstick on. :) Moordryd is gritting his teeth and frowning. I guess he's supposed to be mean looking, but it looks more like he's constipated. I think they should gone for the smug expression instead. ;)
Not bad overall. According to the back panel, there should be six figures (at least in the initial batch). Though I have no idea when the other four might be released. It may depend on whether these sell well enough. Let's hope they sell well enough so that they continue to make these. I would love to have a Tyrannis Pax figure B), but that's no doubt too much to hope for.
IbanezJFS - April 7, 2006 12:54 AM (GMT)
WOW, and I was just about to make a post if anyone has purchesed them yet. But, as for how dissapointing they look. Action figures NEVER turn out as good as the actuall charecter. Atleast when it comes to their face. I will be purchesing them soon myself. So thanks for the pictures and the review.
Hey you know what would be funny??? If they decide to realese that toy Dragon Jouster that Lance plays with in episode 4 Opposing Force.

Yes! Make it full size and complete with wireless remote control. I'd buy it! :D

Yea, complete with a ramp, ramming gear that you can shoot, and those little action figures you could nock down. I really think Jacks Pacific should do that. And, you can have interchangable riders too.

Who knows? *informs the producers that there's a really cool dragon that they should action figurise*
Decepshun looks more accurate than The Mud And Gold Dragon Of Legend. And the problem of the character's faces is easily solved: keep their helmets on.
Hope they release Wyldfyr and Kitt! :)
Thought: WHAT THE HECK IS KITT WEARING ON HER BACK?! It looks like an oversized scuba tank!

If you can help me find away to contact the people at Dragon Booster. I will send them that idea. I mean, everyone else here seems to like the idea.
SilverDragon - April 7, 2006 12:15 PM (GMT)
They've got some new ones up. They don't seem to be the big action figures we're waiting for. If anything, the pic of Wyldfyr on one of those rip cord things might be what they are.
Super Sonic WyldfyrSuper Sonic DecepshunHeh...they misspelt Wyldfyr. :P

Oh, I went to one of the action figure pages and it said 'You may also like' and then they listed the Super Sonics.

Wow, I missed that completely. Thanks for finding those. And guess what, I found some more!
I did a search on "super sonic dragon" and two more figures came up:
Super Sonic Dragons Beau-Day RacerSuper Sonic Dragon Beau- Dragon Boostetr (Note the misspelling is theirs.)
I wonder how they expect people to find these if they don't put "Dragon Booster" in the product name and misspell things? And they don't even bother to show product pictures. It's almost like they don't want people to order them.
At least I can fix the lack of pictures. Amazon.com let's you upload customer pictures of an item, so I uploaded the photos I took of the Beau and Decepshun action figures.
Guess I got to go place another order now. ;)
IbanezJFS - April 12, 2006 09:08 PM (GMT)
Well, I just got my Moordryd and Deception toy and, I think it came out pretty good. I have displayd next to the DB Mcdonalds toys. Now I just gotta get the other ones that have been released so far.
I also suggested to them that. They should put Episodes of DB on the UMD (Universal Media Disc) discs for PSPs. But, they have said anything...Yet.
The Furox - April 14, 2006 07:02 AM (GMT)
My order arrived with the rest of the action figures we all found on amazon.com! B)
There are seven figures altogether: three of the 10" figures with riders and gear, and four "Super Speed" dragon figures. These are rip cord toys with a fly wheel in the center. Spin up the wheel and the dragon shoots across the floor.
It's a bit difficult to find all these since they don't all have "Dragon Booster" in the product titles, which means they don't come up when you do a search. I found the remaining ones by scanning through all the Jakks Pacific toys. To simplify things for others, I created an amazon.com list with all the DB products presently available using their listmania feature:
Dragon Booster Action Figures, Toys and More on amazon.comIf anyone finds more DB products on amazon.com, please let me know so I can update the list. I also have a link to this list on dragon-city.org to make it easy to find.
I also put up photos of all the new action figures I got on the site in
Lance's Room.
Here are the thumbnails. Visit the web site to see the full size photos. The first one is the "day racer" Beau figure with Artha. Artha looks funny again. The way he's holding his arms it looks like he's having one of his hissy fits. :)

And here are the four super speed dragons. They are about 9-10" long as well:

According to the back panel on the action figures, there are supposed to be three more figures in the "first series": Cyrano, Wyldfyr and Wraith Beau. These haven't appeared online yet, and I'm not sure if they ever will if these seven don't sell well enough. It may be too much to hope we ever get to the second series. That set would no doubt include Fracshun and maybe Propheci and Coershun since they're seen pretty frequently. Those would be fun to have. :)
The back panel also shows six "racing dragons" (visit my web site to see this), which look like larger action figures mounted on little carts that I guess roll along the floor. I wonder if we'll ever see those.
At least I got these. That's better than nothing. And I'm pretty happy with the quality overall. So at least they've done a good job with them.
