Title: Vocab
Chrysalis - June 19, 2008 01:25 PM (GMT)
I saw this word of the day,
"defenestrate," and thought it was a useful word for us to have - there's so much I've had to defenestrate in the last few years...
My old vocab was too full of "portion" and "anointing" and didn't have enough words like "accountability"....

A few I think about a lot:
Honesty.
Reality.
Truth.
Reality.
Integrity.
Reality.
Unconditional love that continues to love even if you don't meet it's conditions.
Reality.

Heres a few more:
Humility
Tolerant (of others that disagree)
Discipline (for leaders also)
Reproof (for leaders also)

These two worde that go hand in glove that I love and use as as benchmarks in my evalutations.
Humility followed by honesty.

I like
intuitive
perceptive
understanding
gracious
compassionate
and I hope those would be words used to describe me...
Just want to add,
kindness and empathy

There is a combination of three word sentences that I like to use.
I don't know and
please tell me.

Ah, you've all forgotten the first word you claimed when you saw the light.
No.
Powerful little word.
New Kid - June 21, 2008 04:44 PM (GMT)
arguendo,
do you mean that in the same way Nancy Regan meant it when she said ""just say no!" only in our case it is to kool aid?
It is interesting how, in the ministry, I could never say no to people...I was always so manipulated into giving rides, going to raps i didn't want to go to, paying for other students to go places...it was like I was a marionette with strings attached to every part of my life...
if you were taking a trip and told anyone, usually it was only a mater of hours before some wistful soul was asking for a ride they couldn't afford otherwise.
Oh I am so glad that I am just me...that I am not everyones "provision" for something...that I can say "No".

No = How to establish boundaries using one word.
Indeed powerful, yet so very simple.

Another good one:
RESPONSIBILITY
Where leaders start taking responsibility for their actions instead of wanting to live irresponsibly under a covering.

MERCY
Thats the word some say to rule over RESPONSIBILTY.
Paper=rock=scissors it doesnt matter, everythings fine. Ignorance to weak leadership is bliss. Continuing in the same false authority is fine, if reaping a harvest of thistles is the game to play.
Right now the only way to be in, is to not be part of .
This is the blessing of the newness of life in Christ, fellowship in the sPiRiT with those who are Willing.
What would it take to get me out?
Leadership would have to interfere in my personal walk with God including my marriage, children, friends, associates,...etc.
This would be unwise according to the doctrine they teach, Just as reaping judgement for what is being said here would be.
What to do? What to say? What to pray?
ReAdEr,.... that is your riddle all of the day. Unless you go back to "Who cares anyway"
