Ages 14 to 17: Teen Program
At morning meetings, Pastor John Love, guest speakers and missionaries enjoy a beautiful time of worship followed by anointed messages geared specifically to teens. These messages have inspired many graduating seniors to hear the call of God to go to Bible College. |
Why can't they just write, "These messages have inspired many graduating seniors to hear the call of God"? Why do they have to include the "to go to Bible College" part?
This just proves even more that their goal for the youth program is to get graduating seniors to go to their Bible College. Now, I'm not knocking Bible or Christian Colleges, but there are great accredited ones out there where you can actually use the degree that they give you and you don't learned all the twisted doctrines that GG teaches.
Here are just a few:

I think the reason they equate going to Bible College with the call of God is clear: it is because it is one calling that guarantees money or income for the ggwo coffers. You don't learn anything in their bible classes...and I took dozens I am ashamed to say, that you couldn't invent yourself....it is among the most slanted curriculem I have ever experienced. Everything taught had to complement carls doctrines. All missions courses somehow made the point of how nobody does it better than we do....
Maryland Bible College and Seminary cannot be accredited because it is a sham; it is provides a venue for the church to make money...and to keep people tied to the church.
They do what guest does in his posts, they decide what the truth is and then find the scriptures that seem to validate their position.

Any contradiction to the GGWO's own
Biblical values in church government?

Freedom of the Believer in Decision-making
The pastor does not have delegated authority in the private lives of church members. |
How can they claim they know what is God's call to these young people even if they didn't mean it was their own ridiculous college (and I am sure they did)? Or isn't my call of God part of my private life any more in GG terms?

Many GGWO pastors particularly those at the top of the heirarchy in Baltimore arrogantly presumed to know God's will for people better than the people knew themselves. These pastors frequently presumed that it was God's will and the highest call of all for youth and adults alike to spend years of their lives at GGWO's cult college known as Maryland Bible College and Seminary. Some big reasons why this is the case is because this unaccredited questionable "college" is actually one of GGWO's biggest brainwashing tools to use on people to reprogram them to blindly believe in and trust in GGWO's man made doctrine. At the same time this "college" is also a good money maker for GGWO so the leadership has more funds to use as they wish. I've personally witnessed very strong manipulation used on kids and adults alike to get them to join this "college" and have seen the devistating brainwashing results on people who attend this "college" who come out with profoundly altered personalities and belief systems that become thoroughly dominated with GG doctrine. People often become overly trusting in men that stand behind pulpits and distracted from trusting in Jesus individually. People get trained to depend on pastors and GG doctrine so much that they often cannot think for themselves or even know what to believe or do without very marked dependancy on the group of GGWO. Individuals are trained to know Christ through the pastor instead of directly as intended by God. What a shame!!!

Side,
I was actually one of those ppl. Thank God I only invested less than a year and a half in MBC.
I did enjoy Ed Lutz's classes though. He was always on point and stuck to the text. He knew how to help you actually enjoy the class too with a few laughs here and there.
Also, to add to my opening statement. I was not trying to push for Christian colleges. I think you should go to college wherever you know God wants you to be, Christian or not (I don't like using the word secular anymore. I don't think God distinguishes between these 2 anyway).
I was only trying to give an example of what an accredited Christian college looks like.
Thanks all.

Glad you didn't get in any deeper than you already did and at least you had some positive experiences out of it all. As for college in general, its a good thing to have. I spent a good number of years in college (state university) myself and never regretted it. Some of my best years and educational experiences happened in college. A good Christian college can be very helpful too and can give someone a good foundation in God's Word. God leads people to different places and as long as they follow Him, its okay. God bless.
