My sister is a member of Paul's church. This is a hard subject to discuss critically with her, but I would like to have some cold, hard facts. Does anyone have current information on Paul's teaching? How strong is his influence? I hear from my sister that he is a wonderful man of God, a gifted teacher, very sweet, very considerate, etc, etc. She believes she has been sitting under anointed biblical teaching (Carl and Paul's) all her life. In comparison, all other ministries fall short in her opinion.

Annie: I think you may have answered your own question when you made the statement She believes she has been sitting under anointed biblical teaching .If that's how she feels Paul's church is probably not much different than Frankford Plaza.

With members there I see the same type of defense they gave Pastor when they were at GG: Forgive no matter what.

It's not easy to convince a member to leave, if that's what you're thinking. I think you have to try once. After that I think it's important to try to stay friends and at some point simple christian love may allow them to turn to you later.

Yes, I have read the Alan Lang story. When I heard about it I was devastated; I grew up with Paul.

Why not call or write Paul Stevens? From what I can gather he is open for dialog and if he is not you have your answer.
