Title: Board Changes
Description: re: access & permissions
Administrator - April 4, 2008 08:00 PM (GMT)
Please be aware that after much thoughtful consideration it has been decided that the board will have TWO areas for discussion.
The previously existing General Discussion area has been renamed "Discussion - OPEN ACCESS". Topics created there may remain at the discretion of the original poster. The OP is encouraged to allow the existing topic to remain; however, s/he may request relocation to the members only area.
A new area has been created called "Discussion - MEMBERS ONLY". Board registration is required to start topics and post replies. Guests may continue to read as desired.
Hopefully these changes will meet the needs of our members while maintaining as much open access to the board as possible for our guests.

Hi Everybody!!! And Thank You Administrator.
Now all we need is a Secret Handshake...Come'on, Let's start a New Religion!

Do we have to call it a religion? How about the "religion of no religion?"

Just learned about
another new religion. It doesn't appear to have a name, but does include cool head gear!

I am not certain if this is the correct spot to ask for assistance. On the Open Access section on 105 of I'll never forget the time Carl said.... John Collins has a link to the member only section on a topic that has the word camels in it. However, when I look in the member only section I only see four topics and the camel one is not one of them. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks,
Louise

Hi Louise!
When you go to
that page, below the few topics you see are drop down "switches" for configuring several things. One of them controls the age of posts you can see. The default is to only show you threads active in the last 30 days. Change that to "the beginning," and you'll see another dozen threads.
