Title: The Three Stooges
Description: Schibelli, Schaller & Love

Please forgive the levity here, I couldn't resist.
From what I have heard lately on another post, I am amazed by these three men. I must admit, I wouldn't know Schibelli if he was sitting in my living room, I know Schaller from the early 70s and 80s (but never during his rise to power) and Love never impressed me as anything but a brown nose with no depth of character that I could see.
From what I have read and heard, Schaller is about the worst preacher I have ever heard and wishy-washy, Schibelli is a snake and Love is still Love, underhanded and coniving. I'd say pastor stevens has spawned some pretty "like father, like son" images of himself.
These three men's lack of character and lack of humility make me pretty incredulous that they have any followers AT ALL that deem themselves to be Christians. Any thoughts?

All three have deep individual insecurity problems which they can play on each other. They are like the unholy trinity. Individually, they could never make it. They blow up each other's ego.

Love has a pretty interesting past too. I am sure that Schaller or Scibelli do not know about. They should ask him what happened with someone he worked with years ago in the Youth ministry. He sounds so together right now. I hope it is genuine. Scibelli is the most judgmental of them all. He sits back and gets so energized by the atmosphere. When it is addressed, he backs right down. He is not so tough. It is confusing how he preaches grace and love, forget mercy. Schaller is a modern day pharisee, if I ever saw one. That is why, in his mind and his wife's mind, he is perfect for the job. Who else has accomplished all that the he has done? Meanwhile, we do not want to throw in what T.J., their songleader and director of their school has done. I just do not see how these men can sit back and think they are better than those that have left.

Unfortunately these men are self deluded into thinking they're better than those that left. Same old attitude of Carl Stevens. Us versus them. We're right and you're wrong. We're truly sold out for Christ and others are not. We have the deepest truth and the best teaching and you don't. Our ministry is the best and your's is second rate. These guys really believe they're the specially anointed and the best in Christiandom. They just go ballistic when someone gets up and leaves their 'ministry' for something else which they automatically assume is evil, off, inferior, backslidden, etc. That person who leaves is automatically condemned as an evil spiritual leper that would contaminate others. No wonder they try to turn everyone they can against those that leave GGWO and permanently disfellowship them. They don't want others to find out the truth and get set free so they won't be decieved servants of the whims of these Three Stooges, CHS, and others in the inner circle. Like Carl these stooges love to rake in new converts, but are very quick to throw away and malign anyone who doesn't stay in line.
As far as these stooges go, I knew one of them personally fairly well. That is John Love from my youth ministry days. What a snake and con artist he was. I personally witnessed him brainwash many, many kids into believing in pastor worship, pastor dependancy, letting pastor-teachers do your thinking for you, geographical will, and the marking and ousting of others that didn't fit in and serve the man made programs of the GG leadership. Many kids have been led astray by the GG youth 'ministry' into the false teachings of GGWO and have a very distorted view of God, pastors, people and life. Very, very sad. I encourage any parent with kids involved in the GG youth program to think long and hard about the spiritual health and well being of their kids and to please pull them out. There are many far better choices for Christian youth programs out there.

Now Carl Stevens is gone. The three stooges Schaller, Scibelli, and Love carry on Carl's legacy, teaching, and "anointing". The same old ideas go on like people being led to trust in a man standing behind a pulpit more than God. The man behind that pulpit is to be obeyed without question and worshipped. That man is also covered if he does anything wrong so don't ever bring it up with anyone. Remember this is one of God's men were talking about here. Never question them and always do as they say. Anyone leaving GGWO is leaving God's will and is a compromiser. Doesn't look like things have changed very much at the Plaza other than some stooges are standing where Carl used to stand. The new boss is the same as the old boss. Just as much reason to avoid the Plaza as ever!

BJ,
it is so good to see you posting you gracious person you.
I have known Schaller for decades and he always grated at my spirit whenever I had the unpleasant opportunity to have had to listen to him drone on and on and on and,,, um, well, er, um, aah, you get the idea.
Personally,
I'm not the least bit impressed with the usurping bass turd.(large mouth bass at that)
(apologies to the fish that so many sportsmen like to catch)
It's all downhill from here as they say.
There's no way that the three amigos will be able to keep up appearances for too many years.
After all it was carl that everyone followed around like mindless sheep wasn't it?
Now that he's gone there's no one with the charisma to hold it all together.
(is Bill Clinton still looking for a job?)
I say let the farce pass into oblivion.
There are plenty of healthy ministries around to fill the gap in a more legitimate and honest way.
